This review is for Marble (shade # 255).
I've been hearing about this gloss balm for a while now so I had to try it out. I knew it was a 'gloss balm' (two things I use constantly) but didn't realize it has SPF 15 as well, so that definitely ups the rating too.
First of all, the colour is very light - on my lips, it just makes them look a tiny bit pinker with some added sheen. It definitely seems just like a lip balm but has a shinier look, which is perfect for me since I usually keep my make up pretty subtle / natural.
What is really amazing about this product is how long lasting it is. It stays on way longer than you would expect a lip balm or gloss to. There's no sticky feeling (like with glosses) and it also has no taste or smell at all.
The one thing I would change is the lid for the tube. It doesn't seem to snap on very tight and I'm thinking it might come off if it gets banged around in my purse. Other than that I am really really impressed with this product and can't wait to try out some of the other shades! It's like wearing a lip balm and having the moisturizing/sunscreen benefits, plus getting some colour and sheen like you would with a gloss, but all in one.

This lip stain has it's pros and cons. I bought the "Naturel" shade after getting advice from one of the ladies at Shopper's. That shade isn't quite what I wanted after all - the bottle is a light pink/coral, but the actual product is much darker and deeper, even with just one application. But I have noticed that with lip stains you have to experiment with the colours to see what works, and there are a few other colours from this line that may be better for me.
Aside from how I feel about this shade, the lip stain itself isn't bad. It's supposed to be long lasting with a "satin finish" (and also paraben free). I've noticed that it lasts a while - if you let it dry properly it stays on your lips for about half an hour before starting to look a bit blotchy, (with sipping on drinks, etc). It doesn't technically 'stain' your lips in my opinion, and if you want to take it off, it washes away easily. Also, I find it starts to migrate towards the inside edge of my lips after time, so you have to reapply it on some parts if you want the colour to look solid.
The product does feel nice after it has dried properly - it's pretty thin so that doesn't take too long, but at first it feels a tiny bit sticky. After that, it definitely has that 'satin finish' and actually feels a bit moisturizing. There is no dryness, but the colour can start to look a bit matte when it's been on your lips for a longer time (this stuff is supposed to work well under lip gloss as well so that's not really an issue).
The applicator is like a pointy but chubby marker tip and the whole tube is only about 3 inches long. I like how small it is, but not that you can't see the product inside.
The tip makes it pretty easy to apply perfectly (which is kind of necessary). But I still need a tiny bit of practise - it's kind of like filling your lips in, instead of swiping the colour on like a lip stick or gloss.
Over all, I do like how this feels on my lips and it's much more long lasting than lipsticks or glosses, but not as much as other some other stains out there I'm sure. I think there are slightly cheaper products than this that would do basically as good of a job, but I'm glad I tried this and would recommend others to try it out if they really liked one of the shades.

It was really cool winning this from ChickAdvisor! I've heard of Korres but this is the first product I've tried, and it's definitely beating out my last cleanser.
With my oily/combo skin it's been hard to find a face wash that helps with break outs and shine, without irritating or drying my skin.
This is apparently made with 'vegetable soap substitutes', so it cleanses gently and rinses off well - there's also oat protein which supposedly stays on your skin to keep it moisturized. It also says that this product is free of fragrance, mineral oil, silicone, propylene glycol and ethanolamine (not really familiar with all of those but they don't sound healthy, so I'm glad they opted not to use them!)
The gel is very light and gentle, (I've been using a little rubber face scrubbie, this makes it lather up perfectly). It says fragrance free, but there is a soft, cool scent that kind of reminds me of cucumbers.
My skin feels cleansed and soft after washing with this. I still need to get a better moisturizer to go with it, but I've definitely noticed a difference in my skin for the better (compared to how it's been after using my last cleanser).
I definitely recommend trying this product - it's got some natural ingredients and a little bit goes a long way.

I have to admit that I don't smell any limes in this at all!! But getting that out of the way, I really like this. The scent is very similar to the Hawaiian Tropic sunscreens, but doesn't seem quite as heavy (although it still lingers on you).
This is working really well as an after sun lotion as well as being my regular moisturizer. I haven't had any dry skin on my body using this, even after getting slightly burned the other day. And it's a thick, creamy product but there isn't any greasy residue leftover, even on those sticky humid days.
If you're a fan of Hawaiian Tropic, you should definitely pick this up! It's perfect for the summer but I'm guessing it would probably be a great winter moisturizer too.

I usually choose Hawaiian Tropic products because of their scent - sweet, coconutty, tropical! (Although I have to say it's a bit too sweet sometimes, and not totally authentic, it still gets me every time)
This time I was mainly concerned with getting a sunscreen that won't feel greasy. Plus, I was going camping and wanted something that wouldn't wash away right off the bat if I went swimming.
I got the Sheer Touch SPF 30 since bottle says oil-free and waterproof. I'd say it is waterproof for a little bit, but it still needs to be reapplied after you dry off (which I tend to forget!)
The texture is nice - definitely not as greasy as other sunscreens. Its smooth and applies well on your skin, with no white residue. I didn't use this on my face, though, so I don't know if it works as well there as it does on the rest of my body.
The scent, of course, is strong enough that I can smell it a long while after applying this. If you don't like strong scents, or are already using other products that are very scented (body lotion, perfume, hair products, etc) then I would recommend another sunscreen OR just use products that all have a similar fragrance/are unscented.
Hawaiian Tropic stuff always reminds me of summer or vacations, and I don't mind that it is kind of strong and lingering, because when I'm camping or spending the day outside I usually don't wear perfume or use all of my beauty products that I normally would. This way I can bring minimal products with me camping, at the beach or wherever, but be protected from the sun and still smell nice.
(I got one of the travel sized bottles for about $3, which is awesome since it lasts longer than you would think.)
This is a great sunscreen if you like the scent, and won't forget to reapply it right afterwards if you go in the water.

It's definitely a favourite in our area, and it's always packed with customers.
It's a cafe as well as a bakery and gift shop. The seating for the cafe is excellent - very cozy with wooden tables and chairs, and if you're lucky you can find a spot upstairs on the balcony that overlooks the inside of the shop.
They have tons of yummy drinks, flavoured coffees, cappuccinos, flavoured teas, hot chocolate, etc. And the baked goods are some of the best around.
They make lots of fresh, hearty treats like muffins, tea biscuits, croissants, fresh bread loaves, quiche, paninis and sandwiches, cookies, doughnuts, eclairs, etc and the ingredients change throughout the seasons. Then there are the cakes, dessert loaves, pies, tarts and squares. The cakes from Mariposa are really TOO good, (if you get a birthday cake from Mariposa, you know your family truly loves you! lol)
Everything is always fresh, and you can sample almost everything they have before you buy it (which you most likely will after having a taste).
Seriously, this is one of my all time favourite places to grab a nice coffee and a snack or some lunch. The atmosphere is bustling but cozy and warm, and the quality is exceptional!

If you like smores this is a good little kit!
We aren't huge fans, but definitely like to try it out every once in a while when we go camping. This kit is decent because you get almost everything you need to make them, and they give you a good amount as well (we still have 3/4 of the box leftover). All of the ingredients taste pretty good - nothing gourmet but still quality.
It would be cool if some marshmallow toasting sticks were included in the box. We have some metal fold-up hot dog roasting sticks, and we also like to play around carving our own sticks, so we were all good but still, it would make this kit totally complete!
For the price and amount of chocolate/marshmallows/graham crackers you get, this kit is a good deal and I would definitely get this again to take camping.

I'm always dealing with black flies, mosquitoes, horse flies, deer flies, ETC. in the summer time, so it's either cover up completely or use insect repellant on hand. I choose the latter! (Even though I'd like to try something more natural...)
I've used this a few times in the past month and it's kept the bugs away from me for the most part (the mosquitoes are more persistent than black flies, maybe the spray doesn't work as well on them?). The bottle says it repels for up to 8 hours, but I don't find that it lasts that long, more like 4 hours.
It's unscented, and I haven't noticed too much residue or 'greasiness' after applying it (there is a little bit, but not much and they have other formulas for that anyways).
The price is kind of high for these products, but they DO work.

The only Davids Tea I've been to is the one in Sherway - it was my first time ever hearing about this place, and the shop was small AND crowded of course so it was kind of overwhelming. One of the girls working there was pretty helpful though, asking us what flavours we were into and showing us tins of what she recommended, and giving us one of the 'tea of the day' samples.
I ended up purchasing some tea from their website after that, because I couldn't decide in the store, there were just tooo many. The good thing about the website is that they give you 3 free samples of random teas (usually the newest ones, and enough for at least one cup each) with your orders. Plus, it seems like some of the shops aren't always stocked up - it goes quickly - but on the site, they almost always have all of the products they advertise. AND the customer service is good. If you have questions or an issue with a product, they are more than willing to help you out.
I've tried a bunch of their teas now, and loved almost all of them. The descriptions they give for each tea is usually pretty accurate so you know what you're getting even if you don't see/smell/taste it before buying. And they always have something for each taste, as well as seasonal stuff.

I like the little bottle it comes in - the tip makes it easy to apply without any mess. Plus you only have to wait 15 seconds for it to work - no waiting at all!
I haven't tried any other cuticle removers before, but this one works perfectly. It may be a BIT expensive for me, (I got mine on sale for $9.99) but I would be willing to purchase this again because it worked so well.
