Dove Sensitive Skin is different. I've been using this for a few weeks now and haven't been missing my cream / gel body washes very much! This stuff is gentle, but still makes you feel squeaky clean. My skin doesn't feel dried out afterwards, just clean and healthy.
It's fragrance free, but still has a faint soapy, "Dove" smell. Almost like baby powder but still hardly noticeable (and much better than other fragrance free /sensitive skin products, which I find can smell like straight up petroleum jelly).
The bars last quite a while, and there are 4 in a package. Plus they cost me less than what I usually pay for body wash, so they're a good deal, especially for being a decent product. I definitely recommend!

I purchased Midol Extra Strength PMS formula (there were some other formulas meant for your time of the month but this one seemed to be directed at the symptoms I usually get the worst).
Compared to using a regular pain reliever (for general symptoms like headaches or muscle pain), Midol does an awesome job. It got rid of my cramps (which can be severe on the first day), back pain, tenderness, bloating, all without making me feel too drowsy or medicated.
I can't remember what the price was, but I know it was pretty cheap, and it has 32 caplets which should last me another few months. (I took 2 as soon as I started to feel a bit crampy, and then another 1 every couple of hours when they started to come back.)
Midol is going to be a staple item for me from now on, since it works so well - any lady who gets nasty PMS symptoms should definitely try this!

This tea is delicious.
I've tried a few from Davids Tea recently and this is one of the best! It's flavoured with chocolate, strawberry and rose, (and literally smells like the chocolate-strawberry Quality Street candy). In fact the smell is almost too much, but once steeped this tea is just insanely good! Just sweet enough, and the aftertaste is pure strawberries covered in good chocolate. Perfect for Valentine's Day ;)
(I don't taste the rose very much, but the petals still look pretty!)
This is something I can't stop drinking (I love hot drinks in general but am mainly a coffee gal so that says alot). It helps kick my chocolate cravings too, which definitely helps when you're trying to get ready for the summer months!
I got a 50 gram bag which is supposed to last at least 25 cups, and it's just good quality stuff. It's only a few bucks more than the teas you can buy at supermarkets, and you also get to see and control how much goes into your cup since it's loose.
I really recommend this tea, as well as Davids itself because there are tons of other delicious tea blends and mugs, things to steep your drinks in, etc at the store.

I've used this a few times before and it's one of the only hand creams that gives you instant results. In the winter my knuckles get so dry they crack sometimes, but using this totally fixes it right away.
This time I bought the FRAGRANCE FREE version, and it is just as great as the regular.
Glysomed can be a tad bit greasy feeling, but I'm willing to live with that, since it works sooo well.
The price is awesome, too, and you can buy 50mL bottles that are perfect for keeping in your purse. Definitely will keep buying this and recommending it to the few people I know who haven't tried it yet!

I bought this a few weeks ago, and have been pretty satisfied. I usually get the Cocoa butter kind, but I wanted something with less scent this time and the store didn't have unscented in stock...
I found that the scent in this lotion is actually stronger than my usual Vaseline lotion, but it fades after time and is bright and refreshing.
This lotion would be great for the warmer months, since it is a lighter consistency, and 'non-sticky' formula. As for right now, with winter in full swing, it works well everywhere except my hands, which have been super dry lately. It just doesn't do anything to get rid of the dryness there no matter how often I use it, but like I mentioned before I think this kind would be perfect in the summer!

I have only seen this product once, which is when I bought it, but it's a really cool idea.
Normal floss (the little boxes) doesn't cut it for me, it's always awkward to use and therefore I don't end up doing a great job with it. So, I usually buy floss sticks, and these caught my eye because they are supposed to be compostable and biodegradable!!
Instead of a little piece of plastic, these are made from "locally sourced renewable crops like corn, wheat, tapioca and potatoes instead of petroleum" (from the package).
I really love this, because all of the little plastic things that we use in our day to day lives really add up over time - so every little bit helps, right?
And these perfom just as well as other brands that I've used - they are just a bit more expensive, and it would be nice if they had a mint flavoured kind!! Other than that I really like this product and would definitely buy it again.

This is a really good coffee to make in your Tassimo brewer. You get 12 discs (makes 12 drinks, and you can adjust them to be smaller/stronger or larger/milder cups).
I love the taste, yet still would prefer something a bit different (there are other Starbucks coffee's like Caffe Verona that I'll try next).
The price makes it about 90 cents per cup, which is cheaper than what you'd pay at any actual coffee shop!

I am a huge tea and especially coffee drinker - but in this house, no one else likes coffee but me! I can drink several cups a day, but spaced out so having a percolator or brewer is kind of a waste.
Since getting my Tassimo I've used it at LEAST once a day, and am really impressed. It makes really delicious cups of coffee (depending on the T-disc that you use, I prefer the Starbuck's so far and am iffy about the Nabob). Plus you only wait for a minute and it's all ready to drink.
There's a cup stand that can be adjusted so you can use little espresso cups, or even your huge travel mug.
There's also a water tank on the back that holds 1.8 litres, and can be used with a Mavea filter that lasts for a month. This part I really love - it makes a huge difference in the taste of the drinks, at least with our water. Also, you don't have to refill the tank every time you make a drink, which streamlines the process even more!
The settings are really simple - you turn it on, put the disc in and your cup underneath, then press the start/stop button. If you want a stronger drink you press the start/stop before the drink is done brewing (the button starts flashing to let you know it's almost done). Or if you want a milder, bigger cup you hold it for a few seconds.
It's easy to clean as well - most of the removable parts are dishwasher safe, or just require a good wipe and rinse.
Another bonus, inside the box there's a code to use online to get 2 free packs of T Discs.
I found that the T Discs come in alot of great brands and flavours that I like already, which is mostly why I asked for the Tassimo rather than a Keurig/etc. (But my good friend has a Keurig and after comparing, they are both very similar products, performance-wise.)
My one issue is the garbage - if you're trying to be more earth-friendly, it's really hard to take the tops off of the discs and kinda messy to clean them out and recycle them.
Overall, I really love my Tassimo, and have to say that if it broke down tomorrow I think I'd have to go buy another one :P It makes it easy to have a good hot drink whenever you'd like - definitely comparable and as good as a cup of coffee or tea that you would buy somewhere, but the discs are actually alot cheaper per cup.

(This review is for LashBlast Fusion in BLACK)
One thing that I have noticed with CG mascaras, is that they hardly ever clump up my lashes. The product always goes on so easily - it lifts and separates my lashes as much as any other mascara could, and you can build it up (one coat looks very natural, while a few more coats gives a more dramatic look with volume and length).
The price is great for how well the product works - I always find these mascaras under $10.
The other thing I love about these mascaras, is that the packaging (at least for the LashBlasts) always shows you the brush, so you can decide what you think would work best.
Definitely a good buy if you're looking for quality results at a lower price.

This is one of the best beauty tools I have bought in a while, and probably the cheapest! I think mine was on sale (it was $11 at Zellers) but I was ready to pay more because this product seemed really decent.
The Trimmer:
-it is supposed to provide 'easy, even trimming', and neaten up your bikini area. In my opinion it's definitely easy to use, and the results are awesome. There is a 'comb' with 3 settings for different lengths, plus you can remove it and just use the trimmer. I really like the different settings, they make it easy to get a perfect, clean looking result.
-the trimmer is waterproof so it can be used in the shower, bath, or dry. (Although the website says it shouldn't be fully submerged..)
-the on/off button is good - you don't have to hold the button while you're using it. Just press once to turn it on, and then again when you're finished.
-the trimmer blades are supposed to last up to 5 years if cared for properly, and it only needs one AAA battery.
-the one thing that bothers me is the noise (it's quite loud).
The Razor:
-it has 4 blades and the shape makes it pretty easy to use.
-it gave me a close shave, but not quite as comfortable as my usual (the Venus!)
-the box says 'for long-lasting smoothness so you could skip a day or two'. This is true, but again, I think I still prefer the results my other razor gives me to this one
-you can use any of the Quattro for Women refills (the razor comes with the Ultra Smooth blade, but there's also one for Sensitive skin that I think I'll try)
I really recommend the TrimStyle - you get great results, it's so easy to use, and at a good price too.
