I don't use hairspray that often but I was really pleased with this product! Dove Style+Care Flexible Hold Hairspray is strong but flexible, so hairstyles stay put, but hair still looks natural and not crunchy or stuck in place. I usually avoid hairsprays but this is one I have been using often since it was sent to me, because my hair still feels soft and natural but it helps control my hair and keep it in place.
It's supposed to "enhance hair's luminosity" and I do feel like it helps give my hair a soft, natural sheen. Some hairsprays can look really glossy and that's nice sometimes, but this one just looks super natural and healthy.
This really helps with flyaways and frizz, and I like using it before or after straightening. It helps my hair look totally smooth, and it helps keep my volume as well.
This smells more powdery and perfumed than the other Dove products I've reviewed, but it's really nice.
This is definitely worth repurchasing, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a less intense, natural looking hairspray.

Dove REFRESH+CARE Invigorating Dry Shampoo is awesome! I've tried a bunch of dry shampoos and a lot of them disappointed me, but this is one of the very few that I'd definitely repurchase.
This makes similar claims to most dry shampoos; it's supposed to refresh hair between washes and add volume. It absorbs oil (this one uses silica) so hair looks and feels cleaner. I am really happy with how this performs. It smells great, very clean and pretty. It isn't too strong or chemical smelling, but it definitely fragrances my hair for the rest of the day.
A lot of dry shampoos make my hair feel powdery or weighed down with residue, but this one goes on clean and while it seems to absorb some oil and really refreshes my hair, it hardly feels like I used anything in it (which is perfect)! It doesn't leave residue or powder in my hair or on my brush, which is awesome, and it adds back volume to my hair within seconds.
This is one of two or three dry shampoos that I would definitely repurchase (there are a lot that I wouldn't buy again)! It smells great and makes my hair feel cleaner and look better when I skip a day between washing. I love bringing products like this with me on trips or camping, and they're definitely something I use throughout the week, and I think the price (about $9.99) is definitely comparable to other similar products, and SO worth it. The can is pretty big so I think this is a great deal and will last me a good while too.

As with the Dove Nutritive Solutions Daily Moisture Shampoo, I am really happy with this product! The first time I used it, and each time since, I'm amazed at how gorgeous my hair looks and feels.
Since using this conditioner, my hair looks smooth and feels amazingly soft. This stuff is rich and creamy, and a little goes a long way even on my thick hair. The smell is fresh and makes my hair smell clean and beautiful all day.
This moisturizes deeply without being heavy at all. My hair doesn't feel weighed down at all - it still has great body and volume, but it's way softer and looks sleeker.
Using Dove's Nutritive Solutions products has really improved the way my hair looks. I love using this and will definitely be repurchasing when my current bottle runs out in a week or two!

I received this product from ChickAdvisor as a member of the Product Review Club.
I’ve been pretty content with my usual hair products, but the first time I used Dove Nutritive Solutions I saw a huge difference! My hair has always been pretty decent, although I get the usual flyway’s, frizz and split ends, especially since I wait as long as possible before going to the salon or getting a trim. My ends gets really dry if I don’t condition well enough, and a lot of shampoos that say they’re moisturizing or nourishing don’t really do much for me. So I was pretty happy that the first time I used this shampoo, with the matching conditioner and the Pure Care Dry Oil, my hair felt noticeably softer and more manageable than before.
My hair feels super clean after using this, but not at all stripped or dry. Sometimes after using even high end shampoos, my hair feels squeaky or just weird, and I can’t wait to put conditioner in. I still can’t wait to use the Dove conditioner that goes with this after I shampoo, but now it’s because the conditioner is so good, not because I feel like my hair really needs it right away! This shampoo softens and nourishes while it cleanses, which sets this apart from a lot of products in a similar price range.
This smells great and although they all have a different scent, it goes really well with the Pure Care Dry Oil, as well as the Dry Invigorating Shampoo and Flexible Hold Hairspray. Another thing that I love about this is that it lathers really well. My hair is thick and sometimes it feels like I’m using so much product to wash and condition, but with this I can get away with using less (and get even better results than before)!
The more I use Daily Moisture Shampoo (with the rest of the Dove products I received) the better my hair looks and feels. When I blow dry and straighten my hair, it’s more enjoyable because my hair feels nicer and is way easier to work with, and I’m less worried about heat damage. My hair gets some damage and dryness if I’m not careful, but my hair has been looking and feeling MUCH healthier than usual since using this. This is priced around $7.99, and I think it’s definitely worth it. When my bottle of this runs out I will be repurchasing it for sure, and I’ve already recommended it to others!

This palette is so decent!
I have a few more expensive eye shadows, and the quality of CoverGirl's Roses is just as good. I've been using it quite a bit since buying it early last month, and the shades are great on their own or used together with my other palettes.
There are a few shades in this that are pretty similar to Urban Decay's Naked 3, but I've compared them and there are a lot of differences between the two. CoverGirl's Roses has more mauve colours and Naked 3 is more rose toned, but Roses definitely has the best rose-gold shadow of the two (it's called Rose Gold!)
The quality of this palette is amazing. The shadows feel smooth and buttery, and they have awesome staying power (especially with primer). They're pigmented, blend well, and the variety of shades is perfect. They all stand out from each other and I've found it really easy to create a ton of different looks, using either a single colour or a few of them together. The shadows are meant to be used wet or dry. I've only used them dry, over primer, but I'm definitely going to try them wet sometime. There aren't any true matte shades, but some only have a tiny bit of shimmer and look very matte when blended. The shimmers are all really pretty, and actually have good pigmentation.
This comes with a double sided sponge applicator. One side is the usual paddle shape and the other is for liner. I've been using it a lot actually, even with my other shadows, and it's perfect! For some reason I stopped using these types of applicators for my eye shadow and have just stuck with brushes lately, but I've found that using both (the sponge to apply and brushes to blend) makes my eye shadow look so much better.
I couldn't say enough how much I love this palette and recommend it. It was about $12.99 CAD at WalMart and I've seen it for a few dollars more at Shopper's. It's such a good deal for 8 quality shadows, and I'm honestly thinking about getting a back up.

I was expecting this to be a little different than what it turned out to be, but overall it's a decent product and I'm happy with the shades I got!
Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor is obviously marketed as a matte lip product, and it's supposed to be lightweight, moisturizing, and feel velvety. It's a gel formula and the advertising states that it's 100% wax-free. There's no mention of this being long-lasting or anything, so it's basically like a regular matte lipstick but in gel form.
This has a kind of different scent that kind of turned me off at first. It's described as "creamy mango and whipped vanilla", but it reminds me of artificial cherry or watermelon. It's a little strong when the product is opened, but doesn't seem to last long on my lips. I asked some family what they thought of it, and they had no idea how to describe it but weren't too into it, so I could see the scent being a deal-breaker for some people.
I bought the shades Temptation and Devotion, and they're both pretty, flattering shades. The product goes on glossy and stays that way for quite a while, which was disappointing because it says Matte in the product name. If I apply thin coats, or blot it with a tissue it becomes more matte, but the gel formula definitely gives it a shine.
The product goes on nicely, but can be somewhat patchy. The applicator is almost like a little spatula shape, instead of the more rounded ones that I usually see. It works really well and is great for applying this quickly while still keeping it neat with clean lines, but it's larger than usual and can be a bit clumsy too.
When I blot this down it stays on my lips for a few hours, while needing a few tiny touch-ups here and there. It definitely isn't long-lasting like other liquid lipsticks, and won't last long when I'm eating/drinking.
I feel like the marketing for this is a bit misleading, but I like the product regardless so it isn't an issue for me. I've been using the two shades I got pretty regularly and would recommend them to others for sure (although I'd also mention that they aren't truly matte, and they have a slightly weird fragrance)!

This was included in a set I purchased from Sephora. It was a great deal, between $30-$40 CAD for a ton of different travel sized skincare products. This mask itself costs $6. It's a bit expensive (there are eye masks that cost much less and are basically the same), but its still somewhat worth it because this eye mask is soothing and enjoyable to use.
I ended up putting this in the fridge for 5 minutes before applying because I had a headache, and it felt really nice. It was so soothing and definitely helped me feel better!
I love how the packaging says that this "decrumples" the eye area. It's hard to tell if it really had any effect, especially because I've been using a product by Garnier that seems to be working a little magic on my skin. Regardless, my eye area looked nice and refreshed after using this, and it definitely soothed some puffiness I had.
This didn't have much of a fragrance, but my headache could have affected that as well. I really like the shape of these eye masks - they're more "C" shaped and wrap around the whole eye area instead of just underneath.
If these cost a bit less I would buy them much more often! I really prefer the shape of these to cheaper fiber eye masks I've used, but that's the only noticeable difference really.

I received this, plus the Miracle Anti-Fatigue Moisturizer as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I am so impressed with both of these products, but this one has really stood out to me, because it puts all my previous makeup removers to shame!
Alot of makeup removers are disappointing; they're usually too irritating, feel greasy, have a heavy fragrance, or are expensive. The last ones I bought were marketed as gentle but had a strong alcohol scent that even my boyfriend noticed, and they felt pretty harsh despite not really removing my makeup well. I tend to buy makeup remover cloths, and there are some I like but nothing stands up to Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water.
This is alcohol/oil/fragrance free, and is meant for all skin types. It can be used on eyes, skin and lips. It's way gentler than the usual makeup cleansing products, because the "micelles" attract and capture dirt, oil and makeup, making it easier to remove without having to rub the skin so much. I find that this product really is effective and its easy to gently wipe the makeup away. I moisten a cotton pad and let it sit against my skin for a moment. It's amazing because I can instantly see everything dissolve into the cotton, and it feels so much nicer than other products.
It's really effective at taking off all of my makeup, even my most heavy duty mascaras, eye products, and my long-lasting liquid lipsticks. I'm usually skeptical about using makeup removers on my lips because they tend to burn and irritate, but this one feels comfortable and takes off every last bit of my lipstick! It truly leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed, unlike any other product like it that I've tried. Plus, it really isn't drying at all. My skin never feels tight, irritated, or looks red after using this.
I love how versatile this is; it's a non-rinse formula so it can be used to just cleanse and refresh the skin whether you have makeup on or not. I've tried it in place of my usual cleanser to freshen up in the morning, and to cleanse before bed, and it works very well. Usually when makeup or face cleansing products say "no rinse" I still feel the need to, but not with this. It's perfect for when I need to cleanse my face in less time, and it couldn't have been better timing to receive this product, because it was really convenient to take with me on a road trip this past week!
My boyfriend is always intrigued by the products I buy and receive from ChickAdvisor, and this one was really interesting to him! We talked about how both men and women could find this product useful, and although he hasn't tried it himself he though it was pretty cool.
This is a product that really delivers and I'll definitely be purchasing it again! It seems pretty long lasting and a little goes a long way, so it's worth every penny.

This moisturizer is meant to “recharge” the skin, smooth lines and deeply moisturize. It has a very light, gel / serum texture that feels SO refreshing. It feels great in the morning and definitely helps wake me up a bit, and it’s just as nice at night as well. It has a very faint cooling sensation, just like I’ve chilled my face cream in the fridge for a little bit, and it really adds to the revitalizing effect.
It's supposed to give results like a fresher, more hydrated and awakened appearance in just one day. In one week it claims to provide a healthier glow and reduce the look of wrinkles. It’s only been a week or so that I’ve been using this product every day, because I wanted to incorporate it gradually, and I’ve seen some slight improvements with my skin but it’s still a little early really tell at this point. I’m in my mid-20’s and have some laugh lines around my eyes, forehead and mouth, and so far my skin definitely looks slightly more plump and hydrated. My lines are still there but the extra moisture and plumpness definitely helps, so I do feel like this has made a positive difference in my skin within a week.
I’ve been using another Garnier cleanser as part of my regular routine for quite a while now, the Gentle Clarifying Cleansing Gel, and this Miracle Anti-Fatigue cream (plus the Micellar Water) all work so well together. This moisturizer hasn’t fully replaced my usual argan oil, but I find they complement each other as well. I like to use a bit of argan oil before or after the Miracle Anti-Fatigue, to help seal all the moisture and ingredients into my skin.
This definitely feels like it’s a beneficial product for my skin, and I look forward to continuing to use it. The price ($24.99) seems worth it to me and I would recommend, and purchase it again for sure. A few family members and friends were really interested in it when I received my Product Review Club package, so it’s definitely versatile and would be great for lots of different skin types and needs!

I purchased this in the shade "Tea & Cookies", which is described as a muted tea rose pink.
I'm so impressed! My most recent favourite lip products have been liquid lipsticks, and I've been using some from Kat Von D, Sephora and Revlon. The formulas for those are similar (except for the Revlon), and this one from NYX is no different!
This liquid lipstick doesn't have any scent, which I'm happy with. (I've tried one other NYX lip product before and the smell got kind of sickening after a while.)
The doe foot / applicator is slightly longer and more precise than the KVD and Sephora ones. It works very well for applying this neatly, and it doesn't hold too much product at once which is perfect, as these tend to go on better in thin layers.
It's very pigmented and has a good, full coverage on my lips. I usually need one coat and then just touch up any spots I missed. It's very creamy and has a good texture that's easy to work with, especially with an unsteady hand.
This dries down but not completely. It doesn't fully get the desert-dry, matte look that the KVD liquid lipsticks do, but almost. It transfers a tiny bit for the first while, but not terribly.
I've worn this for most of the day, and it looked pretty awesome by the time I took it off. All of the liquid lipsticks I've tried tend to wear off in the middle of my lips first, so I wasn't too disappointed that this one does that too. It definitely wears well for at least a few hours, even with eating and drinking, and I can easily reapply and make it look perfect again!
This is SUCH a good liquid lipstick, and I hope they come out with even more shades in the same formula! (There are quite a few already, and lots of trendy and different colours.) I would definitely recommend this, as it looks and performs just as well as the other higher priced lipsticks I've tried!
