I've been using Ultra Repair Cream over the winter to help with dry areas (mainly my nose and chin). I use this with my regular argan oil, and sometimes on its own, mainly at night. I find that this cream is helping combat the dryness, but I'm not sure I'll repurchase.
Every time I use this product my boyfriend makes a joke about how weird it smells! It doesn't bother me too much, but it's definitely got a different scent, like zinc cream or something.
This doesn't play well with my makeup, unfortunately, so I'm limited to using this at night. No matter how much or little I use, and how long I wait before applying, this makes any liquid face products look weird and separate on my skin.
I do like using this product to help seal in my skins moisture, but I still feel like I need to use other products in conjunction with this. I'm glad I got a few mini sizes of this to try, but there are other moisturizers that work better for me than this one. I would still recommend trying it though!

I've almost run out of my deluxe sample of this. I want to buy more because it is such a nice product, but it's a little expensive.
This is supposed to give hair 10 benefits; moisture, shine, smoothness, softness, anti-breakage, heat protection, light hold, UV protection, manageability, and strength. I would agree that it helps moisturize and add tons of softness. It provides extra shine, and my hair looks and feels very smooth after using this, however I still get those annoying flyaways.
This product provides decent heat protection and I love that it's supposed to provide UV protection as well, since I'm outside quite a bit.
My sample has lasted me a couple months, using it every other/ every few days, which helps make this worth the price.
This has a nice scent, and my hair looks and feels much more styled and cared for when I use it. I feel like this is a product that isn't just geared towards women - the scent would be fine for men or women and the benefits of this product are pretty universal.
I feel like I can probably find something similar for a lower price, but I will definitely keep this on my Favourites List at Sephora in case I decide to treat myself!

I love trying new sheet masks, even though I kind of prefer traditional clay/gel/cream masks because they seem to do more for my skin. These types of masks are so easy to use and way more relaxing sometimes, because all you have to do is cleanse, then apply the mask and you're done!
I got the Egg Cream Sheet mask in a skincare set. I'm glad I got to try it out this way because it's nice, but just didn't do anything remarkable to my skin, and the price for just one of these at Sephora Canada is $8. To me it's a bit overpriced, when I know I can get more value from other brands.
The scent is similar to pretty much all other sheet masks I've tried so far; it's nice, but somewhat perfume-y. It wasn't irritating or too strong, which is great, but I feel like it could have been more creative (although I am glad and should just be grateful that it didn't smell like eggs lol).
The mask itself is a nice soft cloth, folded up against a piece of plastic mesh. This really helped when unfolding it. I was disappointed in the shape of the cloth; it's a good size but the eye, nose and mouth holes are all way too small! I had to keep readjusting the mask while wearing it because it started to migrate eventually and cover my eyes or touch my lips. I tried stretching the holes a bit after a while but the cloth was too thick.
The mask was drenched in serum, but it's thicker in consistency than some other sheet masks and didn't drip or make any mess. I applied the excess serum to my hands and neck, and just a little bit he one really nice thing was that the serum didn't feel tacky or like it never dries; some other sheet masks tend to leave a bit of a residue like feeling, but this one didn't.
The ingredients (egg white and yolk extracts) are meant to help moisturize and soften for more luminous skin. It was moisturizing, but not any more so than my usual products do. My skin didn't seem any better or worse after using this. (I didn't expect a drastic change, but usually after trying a decent mask my skin does look and feel a bit nicer.)
I would recommend others to try this if it looks like an interesting product to them; it's a nice sheet mask, just nothing extraordinary, especially when there are similar products out there for lower prices.

My dog got to try the Prairie Red formula with beef, bison, boar and fish. As soon as we opened the package containing the SubZero food, my dog couldn't wait to try some! He loves food more than any dog I've ever seen, but he's also picky and won't eat just anything, so I was happy to see his reaction. We started out that day and the next by giving him a few pieces as a treat, and he gobbled it right up.
We integrated this into his regular diet as recommended, and our pup hasn't shown any negative reactions. I love seeing him enjoy his kibble so much, especially since he's shown obvious dislike for some dry foods we've gotten him in the past! And I feel good reading the ingredients list and seeing lots of nutritional things.
Our dog has always had a nice coat, but I've definitely noticed it become even softer and healthier looking lately. He's getting a bit older now and gets some stiffness in his hips sometimes, so it's great that this has glucosamine and chondroitin to help his joints.
We love our dog so much and place a lot of importance on his well being, so I'm really happy to have been given this opportunity! I can see that he's really been enjoying this food and I'm happy to give it to him. I love that it's made in Canada, and there are a few different formulas he can try. (I've actually already purchased a bag of the Fraser Valley formula for him!)
Thank you so much to ChickAdvisor and Nutrience for providing this product! This is an affordable, high quality food that I'll definitely continue to purchase for my pet.

This is the cheapest nail polish I've purchased lately, and it's perfect. This was about $2 at WalMart and although the display was almost empty, there was one left of a shade that I'd been missing from my collection. I bought Party Hard, the perfect deep, blueberry type shade. It's a darker blue with a hint of purple, and no shimmer or glitter.
I'm really impressed with the formula. This has a decent brush and applies really well. It isn't streaky and the consistency is just right - not too thin or thick. The shade I got takes two thin coats to look perfect, which is what I usually expect from my polishes.
I was so happy that this polish dries really quickly. I also didn't use a top coat with this the first time wearing it, and it still looked amazing. It held up for a week with only minimal wear at the tips and a tiny chip. My nails were short but this still held up beautifully.
I hope to find some more shades I like in this line because it's a great product for such a low price! I'm also glad I tried this shade, it's really beautiful and I can use it at any time of the year.

I bought these to use on our computer, TV and cell phone screens. These wipes cost about $3 for 15. They're a bit pricey, but I can clean a few items with each cloth.
These feel a bit dry at first but they do a great job at removing smudges from my iPhone and other electronic screens. They claim to be streak- and residue-free but they do leave a few streaks sometimes, mainly on my computer screen. They don't leave any cloudy residue though, which is my main concern with products like this.
I like that these come in a plastic container. It's small enough to fit in a purse or bag, or to keep in the car. I do wish that there were more than 15 wipes, but they do work well and are very convenient.

Brookside's Blueberry Almond with Acai Chocolate Tablet Bar was pretty good, but if I had to choose it would be my least favourite of the three I got tried. It was enjoyable, but to me the flavours didn't really "pop" like the Mango Coconut Crunch, or the Tart Cherry Crisp! When I opened the bar, it smelled good, but definitely more mellow and less fruity than the other two.
There were lots of little blueberries in this, but I wish the almond pieces were bigger. I think the other two definitely had more texture and crunch. The taste was good, but not as memorable to me as the others I tried.
Even though I prefer the other two flavours that I got to try, this was a nice treat! I would recommend trying it to anyone who likes fruit and nut chocolate bars. Personally, I would buy the Mango Coconut Crunch again in a heartbeat, and probably the Tart Cherry Crisp too! I loved how different these chocolate bars are from the usual selection - Brookside has really created something unique and delicious. I was so lucky to be part of this ChickAdvisor Product Review, and I'll be keeping my eye out for Brookside chocolates when I go shopping!

The Blue Algae Marine Mask is my first product from PTR. I've read really good reviews about the brands gel masks, but only recently decided to try one for myself.
This mask is for hydrating and nourishing the skin. The description states that it has anti-aging benefits, and helps defend the skin against further damage. It contains humectants to help the skin retain moisture and to soothe dryness.
There are a lot of fancy sounding ingredients in the description, and it's kind of hard to believe ALL of the claims that this (or any) product makes, but I do honestly enjoy using this mask and I feel like it's had a positive impact on my skin.
It makes sense that this product is a shimmery ocean blue colour in the jar (although it looks clear when applied). This definitely adds to the charm and effect of this product! The scent is hard to describe but it honestly reminds me a little bit of men's shaving cream. I wasn't sure what to think at first, but now I find it really soothing and relaxing.
The directions say to apply a generous coat onto clean skin, which is really easy to do because the jar is huge! I find that I can be really generous when applying this, and still not need to use very much at all (and the amount in the jar looks almost untouched). In my opinion, this is a really good deal for the price, (although there's lots of info about how jars of product tend to lose their "efficiency" faster because it's exposed to more light, air, etc).
The gel feels cool on my skin at first, and after a minute it begins to feel like it's tingling a little bit. The cool feeling stays but it also feels like it warms up a bit too, like it's waking up my skin. It's very calming and luxurious.
After about 10 minutes the gel dries down somewhat (but without any tight, dry feeling, like when using a clay mask). Once I rinse off, my skin honestly looks and feels so fresh! It seems to plump it up a bit and give me a nice glow. It definitely helps my skin feel softer and look smother, and makes a really big difference when my eyes are puffy.
I've been using this mask at least once a week since purchasing it and it's helped round out my skincare routine. My skin gets so dry and flaky in the winter, but I haven't had to deal with that much lately because of this and all the other great products I've been using (and of course making sure I stay hydrated and eat well).
The Blue Marine Algae Mask is a bit pricey but it is 5 oz of product, and I personally think it's worth it for the whole experience when using it! Plus, I've used it many times now and hardly made a dent in the jar.
I really like this product and look forward to using it every few days. When it runs out I might try another PTR gel mask (the rose or cucumber probably) but this is something I would love to always have around for when my skin needs extra care.

I love chocolate and have totally enjoyed trying out these ones from Brookside! Tart Cherry Crisp with Pomegranate is my second favourite (if I had to choose) of the 3 I got to try. This one and the Mango Coconut Crunch have an amazing, unique flavour, and they all have a really satisfying texture with lots of fruit pieces and crispy rice.
The tart cherry was the main flavour I got from this one, and it went so well with the chocolate. It didn't remind me very much of pomegranate, but overall it was delicious. The chocolate isn't too sweet or too dark and it's very smooth and rich.
I like a lot of different chocolate combinations, but haven't tried many other fruit-flavoured ones that were as delicious as Brookside's. These chocolate bars are so good - they taste exquisite and are different from a lot of other brands.
My favourite chocolate bars are usually something with nuts or caramel, or something salty and sweet. I also love chocolate and fruit but it's hard to get right. I really like how these have a real fruit flavour that contrasts with the dark chocolate, and the crunch from the crispy rice makes it perfect.
I would definitely purchase this for myself, and I hope Brookside keeps coming out with delicious products like this!
This product was sent to me for free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for my review.

These are crispy but have a soft inside, and are so much cuter than French fries! All of McCain's products like this one are so quick and easy to prepare, and very inexpensive. These are great to have in the freezer for a snack or to have as a side for dinner or lunch.
