My family used to buy these when I was a kid, and we still buy them from time to time now! They're cute and easy to prepare. We like having them sometimes with things like burgers or chicken. They pair well with lots of foods, and sometimes we just make a few on their own for a snack.
These cook very quickly so they're great to have around when you need to put together a quick meal or snack, whether it's for a lot of people or just one.
These are also really easy to get creative with, like using different dips or adding cheese or other goodies on top.

This was sent to me free of charge from ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club, in exchange for my review.
Mango Coconut Crunch was my favourite of all 3 Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bars sent to me! As soon as I opened it the scent of the chocolate, coconut and mango had me hooked. I found this one to be the most "fruity" - it had a ton of dried mango bits that tasted amazing and really blended well with the rest of the flavours. This one had the most texture as well, with lots of crispy rice and tiny bits of coconut.
The chocolate has enough cocoa to stand up to the mango and coconut in this bar, but it isn't super strong. It's a step or two up from milk chocolate for sure, but even if you weren't a fan of dark chocolate you could still enjoy this!
I tried this bar while reading a book, and it felt SO luxurious! It satisfied my chocolate craving and the flavours were definitely unique compared to a lot of popular chocolate brands.
I like to treat myself with chocolate sometimes, and this is definitely something I would purchase for myself! My boyfriend isn't a huge fan of the same types of chocolates as me, and he didn't bother trying this but I do know some of my other family members would love this. This is a bit less than some of my other favourite brands - it costs about $3.69 which is a great price for a really good chocolate bar!

Argan Infinity Creamy Intensive Oil has almost replaced pure argan oil as my HG skincare product!
This product contains argan oil of course, but the main ingredients seem to be safflower seed oil and shea butter. It also contains tangerine peel oil, which gives it a very light citrusy scent, and other good things like avocado oil and coconut oil.
This product can be used anywhere on the body, but I've been trying it on the driest parts of my face (usually my chin and nose) and a bit on my lips. It really helps protect my skin from the cold, dry weather, and smoothes the dry spots. It leaves my skin looking a bit dewy and luminous, but not oily, it sinks in quickly and it works great under my makeup. My foundation or face makeup always emphasizes dry spots, and this completely solves that issue.
This has many other recommended uses, like for your cuticles, split ends, flyaways, to keep brows in place, to add shine to lip products, and even to mix in powder makeup to make a glossy/cream eye shadow.
The texture reminds me of a salve or ointment, but it's very smooth and creamy, and you can feel the richness of the ingredients. It's very easy to massage into the skin, and the tangerine/citrus scent is very light but really uplifting.
I really love pure argan oil, but this is definitely making more of an impact for me right now, since my skin has been suffering from the freezing weather and dry indoor heating.
This is an amazing product and I definitely recommend it. I received it in a value set, but would happily buy the full size next once my travel-sized version runs out.

I love the body wash part of this product - it lathers up well and makes my skin feel clean and soft, but not stripped of moisture. To be honest, I don't really feel like the crushed walnut shells exfoliate very much, but it is a great body wash nonetheless.
I purchased this around the holidays in a big gift set and it was an amazing value. I do feel like although they have some awesome products, The Body Shop has higher prices, so I kind of prefer buying their stuff on sale. I don't think I would buy this for full price ($20), just because there are other options that smell and perform just as well as this, and are less expensive.

This was an impulse buy for me at Shopper's recently. I already have a pretty good system for lining / tight-lining my eyes, using eye shadow and a small brush. There are downsides, though, like that it can be a bit time consuming, and I have to clean my brush every time.
The MasterPrecise Skinny is a waterproof gel formula in a 1.8mm pencil. It looks and feels very thin, and is about 5 and 1/4 inches long. It feels pretty solid and durable, and has cute pink and black packaging (which definitely helps me when I'm searching for it in my makeup organizer).
The packaging says "always sharp" but mine didn't look to be sharpened at all - it had a flat tip. I was a bit disappointed by that, but it's so small that it doesn't really matter, and I can "sharpen" it myself.
I bought this in black (there is also brown and charcoal). It's very pigmented and smooth like gel liner, and sets pretty quickly although it can be smudged too. It is definitely waterproof and stays on all day, but any excess product will transfer a bit and smudge, without using something to prime or set it with. It's really impressive, but my lids can be oily so I have to clean it up a bit throughout the day.
I'm not sure how long this will last / how much product is inside, but I hope I don't use it up too fast because it's a really decent liner. It works amazingly well for tight-lining, especially when I need to get ready quickly, and when I want a bolder look.
This definitely requires some makeup remover or oil to take off completely.
I really like this liner and am happy I purchased it. it works so well on my slightly smaller / deep set eyes, it's reliable and lasts throughout the day (with some smudging) and adds the perfect amount of definition.

Another Josie Maran product that I don't want to live without!
I purchased a value set from Sephora that contained a 2 oz tub of this body butter, in Vanilla Apricot. The smell is completely addictive, and made me fall in love with the product immediately. It smells peachy and sweet, and it's somewhat strong so it lasts a good while. This contains vanilla bean and apricot extract, so it definitely has an authentic scent.
The actual body butter performs amazingly. It feels a bit greasy but it's very rich and moisturizing. The whipped texture feels so luxurious, and gives it a lightness even though it's so creamy. It's a heavy duty moisturizer for sure, and has helped my hands so much this winter, but I would definitely use this all year round.
This contains argan oil (obviously), as well as aloe vera, shea butter, sunflower seed oil and avocado oil. It's got a ton of other great ingredients in it as well, and it's a bit pricey but so worth it. A little goes a long way and the oils and velvety texture make this so easy to massage into the skin. It softens any dryness instantly, and gives my skin a really nice glow.

I purchased the mini version of this concealer in the shade "Custard". I've been using NARS Sheer Glow foundation in "Gobi" the past couple months, (and in "Deauville" for the summer).
I've heard lots of good and bad reviews about this concealer and wanted to try it for myself. I've been using a concealer by COVERGIRL that I really like, but sometimes I wish it was a bit more pigmented.
Radiant Creamy Concealer is definitely more pigmented, and it works really well for covering my dark under eyes. I've had no issues with it creasing and it stays on throughout the day.
I wish there were more shade options, because "Custard" is just a bit too yellow/peach toned for me to use right now on areas other than my under-eyes. (The peachy tone of this actually helps with covering my dark circles, but it's obvious when I use it on the rest of my face). "Chantilly" (the lightest shade) would have been my next choice but it didn't come in the travel-size and it seemed like it might be too pale.
The packaging of this concealer is nice - it has a doe foot applicator which is great for applying the product under my eyes. I'm not the biggest fan of the way NARS has rubberized caps / covering on their products, just because it's hard to keep the packaging clean, but it does look cool and help with opening/closing the product.
I'm glad I tried this because it works amazingly well under my eyes, but it is expensive and the shade range could be expanded a touch more maybe.

A few years ago I was given a small / travel sized makeup bag from Lug. It is a great travel bag for cosmetics or other items, and I've used it countless times. It has some decent sized compartments / pockets inside, which helps because even with my small bag I can fit a ton of stuff inside.
The fabric is very durable and stays pretty clean on it's own. I've thrown it in the washing machine to freshen it up, and it always comes out looking brand new.
These aren't the most stylish looking bags but they are definitely good quality. They are perfect for traveling, or just to have around for storing things. I don't know if I would have bought this for myself before having tried it, but I'm glad I was gifted one because it comes in really handy! it has lasted me a long time so I don't know if I'd really have to purchase one again, but I definitely recommend it.

Part of my family is Dutch, and growing up we usually had speculoos cookies around the holidays or for a special treat. We never tried the cookie butter though, and I've always wanted to!
I bought this in WalMart recently, and have been dreaming of different dessert recipes I could use it for! It tastes amazing, just like real speculoos cookies but basically in the form of butter. On toast, it reminds me of a more caramelized version cinnamon butter/spread, and I've tried eating some on a spoon (which was way too addictive).
This cookie butter is so delicious and I'm so happy I got to try it finally. I have some ideas for some cookie bars and other treats that I'd love to make with this, and I'll definitely be having it on it's own or on toast again when I get a craving for something sweet!

I tried the strawberry Liberte Greek yogurt and it's delicious! I prefer yogurt with fruit on the bottom and this one is great.
It's great for breakfast or a snack throughout the day. This yogurt is more satisfying and filling than some other types or brands, and to me it tastes so much fresher than the ones with the fruit already stirred in. There are no artificial sweeteners, which really makes a difference. The yogurt has is very smooth and creamy, and the fruit tastes amazing with the tartness of the yogurt.
I like that this is a Canadian brand, and the website has a lot of informative material about the brand's history, as well as the products themselves. I will definitely keep purchasing this yogurt and can't wait to try the other flavours.
