Sometimes we meet new favourites when old favourites are discontinued. For years I was addicted to MAC Prowear and when it was discontinued I searched everywhere in vain for a similar colour.
My daughter recommended this one, and I absolutely love it! The shade, patina, is identical to the one I had searched for. It is long wearing, just as it claims to be.
Best of all, it’s available at my local drugstore!

I had a difficult time choosing the category for this review, because this venue is so much more!
During my past career as a wedding planner I spent many happy hours at the Old Mill Inn and Spa. Their banquet rooms are beautiful, each on decorated to reflect the Old World Ambiance. There is a candle-lit 16th century wedding chapel on site, and exceptional restaurant, and of course... the spa!
Dave and I were married here in 2015 and I cannot recommend the Old Mill highly enough. For food... the staff... the attention to detail!
The bride and her wedding party can take advantage of the spa, wedding guests receive a discount on their hotel rooms, and the gardens are perfect for photographs!

Lagostina has made this set an exclusive at Canadian Tire. If purchased separately from the manufacturer, the cost would reflect the $2000 price tag. However, Canadian Tire has it regularly on sale for around $500, which is what I paid for it.
I gave it a less than perfect score for effectiveness because it cannot be used on induction surfaces, but on all other surfaces it is exceptional! Copper is the best material for heat distribution, and the stainless steel interiors are durable and easy to clean.
The photo shows only half the set -- there are 6 pots and 6 lids.

Each tab is embossed with icons indicating which food type it should be used for – vegetables, fish, raw meat or cooked food – making it easy to select the right board for the job. Boards are dishwasher safe. Be aware they they are knife-friendly so they will scratch, but this is to prevent dulling your knives. Proverbs 31 Lifestyles highly recommends it! -
