I'm not going to lie - I was skeptical. I love my L'oreal Voluminous mascara, and never thought I would stray. Even though I am a huge fan of Benefit products, and own an unhealthy amount of Benefit products (if that is possible), I don;t like the idea of spending $30 on a product that will last me only 3 months. Especially if a drug store product can do just as good of a job for 1/6 of the price.
I received a sample of They're Real in one of my Ipsy bags, and tried it out. The wand was difficult to use, it came out with a LOT of product, and the mascara got all over my eyelid - it was a wet formula, and not what I was used to. I ended up with spider lashes, and when it came time to take it off, the stuff wouldn't budge, even with waterproof mascara.
I was watching a video on YouTube, and the girl showed a trick to using They're Real. Once it is out of the tube, hold the wand vertically use the ball at the end to deposit mascara on the outer upper lashes. It will be a bit clumpy. Now, turn the wand horizontal, and use the wand to distribute the mascara. This helps to put that extra mascara where it counts, making your outer lashes very long and thick.
No clumping, no running down my face, my lashes hold their curl all day. To remove, put your remover on a cosmetic pad, and hold it over your closed eye for about 30 seconds. This will soften the mascara, and it will wipe away pretty easily (it still needs some work).
They're Real is now an irreplaceable part of my daily routine. I get so many compliments on how long my eyelashes are, and my eyes are now the focus of my makeup each day.

I purchase multiples of this conditioner every time I travel to the US, as it isn't available anywhere near me. It's usually $1.99, and for the price, its a great deal. It doesn't repair my long, curly, frizzy, thick hair, but it does tame the frizz, make my hair silky and shiny, and temporarily repair any split ends. The results don't last past your next wash, but for $1.99 it's a great bandaid fix! May not be as effective for thin hair, or those needing volume. -

I find Pantene products overpriced unless you get them on sale, but this is one I would definitely repurchase for the right price. -

I try to write honest reviews as much as possible, even when products are generously sent to me. I received two boxes of Special K Popcorn Chips as part of the product review club, Butter and Sweet and Salty flavour. The chips are packaged in a sealed bag within a cardboard box, which helps prevent breakage. The chips themselves are thin and triangular in shape.
My views on Special K Popcorn chips are based on my experience with another, popular round shaped popcorn chip. I LOVE the Butter flavour the other brand offers, and the "crunch" of the chips, which are slightly thicker. Had I have not tried these first, I would have also liked the Special K chips. However, I couldn't help but compare the two, and the Special K flavour tastes flat in comparison, and that "crunch" just isn't the same. They did taste lovely with some dip on the side.
The Sweet and Salty variety wasn't a good fit for me flavour wise, but I also cannot get over the taste of kettle corn. My husband, on the other hand, loved the flavour and preferred the Special K Popcorn Chips over the other brand. A friend of mine tried them as well, and she really liked the Sweet and Salty flavour.
I would say, try them, see if you like them for yourself. They are definitely more of a "chip", while my other favourite is basically a mini rice cake, so it may not be fair to compare the two!

I rated a 3 for effectiveness, as I didn't see any noticeable growth in my lashes. If this were advertised as a regular eyeliner, it would have gotten a 5. I love the brush tip, the liner flows just right, and it leaves a precise black line that lasts all day, doesn't smudge, yet removes easily at night. I'm on my third one and love it! -

I could not have made it through summer without this cleanser! I originally purchased it around Christmas when The Body Shop had a B2G2 sale, as well as a spend $20, save $10 coupon. During winter, it was too harsh for my skin and left it dry (but not flaky).
Enter summer. I was experiencing a lot of oily skin and blackheads. I have been using the Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Facial Wash, Toner, and Holista 100% Tea Tree Oil as a spot treatment. My pores have never looked better - very few visible pores on my nose, and my skin has remained pretty much clear. I take a break from the toner every few days, and my skin hasn't been dry or flaky.
I'll have to switch back to a more moisturizing facial wash for the winter, but will definitely be repurchasing the Tea Tree Oil line from The Body Shop next summer.
As for value, I probably paid about $5 for the bottle, and only a dime size amount is needed. I have about an inch left in the bottom of the bottle after four months of daily use.

I was sent a bottle of Crest Pro-Health Multi-Protection Rinse as part of the ChickAdvisor product review club. I've had the opportunity to use it for a few weeks now, and am definitely a fan!
This mouthwash is quite mild, as it doesn't contain alcohol. It is actually very smooth in your mouth and doesn't feel as if it is going to be very effective. Once you swish it around a bit you start to feel a slight burn, but nowhere near that of Listerine. When I rinsed it had removed plenty of the gross dead skin from inside my mouth, which I find helps to make my breath fresh and my mouth feel truly clean.
Only a small amount was needed, and my mouth and breath felt fresh for quite awhile after (until I drank coffee at work about two hours later). The bottle is aesthetically pleasing, which is important if I am going to leave it on my vanity. I do find that Crest mouthwash goes on sale frequently, and mixed with a coupon, I will definitely repurchase.
As always, thank you to ChickAdvisor and Crest for the opportunity to try out these products!

I was sent a tube of Crest Pro-Health ProFresh Toothpaste as part of the ChickAdvisor product review club. I've had the opportunity to use it for a few weeks now, sufficient to form an opinion.
The toothpaste comes in a tube with a hard plastic flip cap, meant to be stored upright on your counter, which I prefer over the traditional screw caps. The taste is quite mild, more so than other toothpastes I have used in the past. It didn't really foam in my mouth, which I think I actually missed! My mouth felt clean after, but not overly minty. I think since I have come to associate minty with clean, I didn't feel that this toothpaste left my teeth perfectly clean.
I tried using the Oral-B CrossAction Pro-Health Toothbrush with both the Crest Pro-Health ProFresh Toothpaste, and with my Colgate and Crest whitening toothpastes, and found I preferred the brush with other pastes. I didn't notice any whitening effects while using this toothpaste, but since I have recently used Crest Whitestrips, there isn;t much whitening left to go! My teeth haven't yellowed, so perhaps it helped to maintain.
Overall, I would purchase this toothpaste again if there was a good sale, but there are other toothpastes that I prefer (I'm looking at you, Crest 3-D White Vivid White!).
As always, thank you to ChickAdvisor and Crest for the opportunity to try out these products!

I was sent the Oral-B Cross Action Pro-Health Toothbrush as part of the ChickAdvisor product review club. I've had the opportunity to use it for a few weeks now, and absolutely love it!
I usually purchase whichever tooth brush is on sale, as long as it has a smaller head and soft bristles. I noticed this toothbrush was quite bulky, with a larger handle and head, which I usually do not prefer. It also has some bristles which slant at a downward angle. I'm not sure which of these characteristics cause the brush to work so well, but does it ever!
From first use, this brush has effectively cleaned my teeth, particularly, removing build up from along the gumline and polishing the surface of the teeth to leave them shiny and clean feeling. I didn't find the tongue scraper on the reverse side of the head to be effective and still had to use a separate tool.
Some of the features, such as the rubber bristles meant to stimulate the gums, I didn't really notice. Overall, I felt the Oral-B Cross Action Pro-Health Toothbrush gave me a superior clean, and it will definitely be on my radar for future purchases. I will be on the lookout for sales as it is quite pricy at regular price.

I've received plenty of samples of the Crest 2 Hour Express through the P&G;mailers. With a wedding coming up this weekend, I noticed my teeth were looking a little less bright than I would prefer. I planned to purchase a new box of Whitestrips, but remembered my stash of 2 Hour Express. I hadn't used them due to the time (2 hours is scary!), and the equally scary reviews online (some claim they had to take prescribed pain medication to numb the sting).
I've done complete cycles of Whitestrips every few years in the past, and do find I get some sensitivity from day 4 onward, sometimes a sharp pain in my front teeth which are filed down. I also usually get increased sensitivity to hot, and especially cold for a few days.
Surprisingly enough, the 2 Hour Express strips had a milder effect than the Intensive Effects strips. I found the adhesive to be excellent, it stuck very well and didn't allow a lot of saliva in. They stayed put for the entire two hours without sliding around, and allowed me to take sips of water as needed. I could talk easily with a slight lisp (I used the strips while cleaning the house and paying bills/making errand calls).
In terms of impact, they whitened very well. Enough to noticeably brighten, but not to get a full whitening. I did one strip on Monday, another on Wednesday, and the effect was enough to get two compliments from coworkers.
In terms of sensitivity, I found that I experienced no sensation whatsoever while using the strips. From 12-24 hours after each strip, my teeth grew increasingly sensitive, mostly to cold. I had to keep my mouth closed outside as the breeze was uncomfortable on my teeth. I found the sensitivity went away by the second day.
I will definitely use again as maintenance, perhaps every 2-3 months as Crest recommends. I will still need to purchase a full box to fully whiten my teeth, but for a quick solution, 2 Hour Express exceeded my expectations.
