We don't often include rice in our family dinner, but when we do it tends to be plain brown or wild rice with some stock or spices added.
I usually stay away from packaged products, due to the typical lengthy ingredients list of unpronouncable names. I was pelasantly surprised to read the Knorr Selects package, seeing that it it made with real food ingredients, and is preservative/artifical flavouring free. It is also gluten free if that is an issue in your home.
The rice was so simple to make, and was done in ten minutes. I added some diced bell peppers, and served it with some vegetables and hummus. My daughter loved it, and it made great leftovers for lunch the next day.
The flavouring was appealing, though it would be nicely complimented with a seasoned protein as the roasted garlic flavour is mild. I'm going to pick up a few other flavours from the line to see if there are other options we would like more.
Overall, Knorr Selects are a great option to keep in the pantry for quick dinners. You can feel good about the ingredients, and the price is great as well!

I really enjoyed Lipton Mint Green Tea. I find that mint tea can be quite strong on it's own, so often don't reach for it unless I need it for it's stomache taming properties. However, Lipton Mint Green Tea has the taste of the classic Lipton Green Tea, with a slight mint twist. I didn't find it overpowering at all, and was able to sip it as I worked my was through some school assignments.
I'm loving the green tea offerings from Lipton, as I've been trying to cut out coffee (after my first cup each morning), and being able to switch up the flavours while sticking with a green tea is great!

I wasn't sure what to expect from Lipton Mandarin Orange Green Tea - usually I drink my green tea plain, or with lemon/ginger flavouring.
As soon as I unwrapped the box, I was met with a fruity, mandarin scent. I preferred to steep the tea a little longer than directed, and really enjoyed the subtle scent.
The green tea itself has a mild flavour, and I found the mandarin to be stronger as an aromatic vs. as a flavour in the tea. The mandarin flavour is there, but is quite subtle.
I've enjoyed this tea as an afternoon pick-me-up, and have already finished half the box. I find myself reaching for it over my other green teas, and think that the subtle taste and light mandarin scent are what sets it apart.

I am a daily green tea drinker, but I had never made matcha tea before. I was pleasantly surprised at the light, earthy taste of the Pure Lead Matcha Tea, and loved the convenience of the sachets.
Making the tea was simple - you add the pre-portioned tea to your cup, add a bit of water, whisk with a fork, whisk or frother, and add more water (total of 250 ml/sachet). My tea was completely blended, with no clumps.
I'm that person that always has tea bags in my purse (you never know when an appropriate time for tea will arise!). I'll now be keeping Pure Leaf Matcha tea handy as well.

I can't reccomend the First Response Prenatal Multivitamin Gummies enough! Though I am not currently pregnant, I am trying to conceive and so am taking prenatals daily. At this time, I can stomache regular prenatals - nut when I was pregnant with my first, I couldn't keep anything down for the first three months - including my prenatals. I ended up having to drive to the US to pick up gummy prenatals, after being told by other moms that they were the only way they could continue with their vitamins throughout pregnancy.
The First Response Prenatal Multivitamin Gummies are such a wonderful product to have available in Canada. They aren't large, they are pleasant tasting, and don't leave an unpleasant aftertaste in your mouth. I will continue to repurchase these when I am pregnant again, and will reccomend them to my friends that are experiencing morning sickness.

I love ginger tea, and already drink it any time I need to settle my stomach. The Pure Leaf Ginger with Orange Blossom tea combines classic ginger flavour with bright citrus notes, resulting in a cup of tea that calms your stomach and your senses.
The packaging is lovely, and I found myself leaving it out on the counter rather than tucked away in my tea drawer.

What impressed me the most about this line is the quality of the conditioner and the conditioning butter. They rival some of my salon brand conditioners in terms of their ability to hydrate my hair. They also don't leave a residue or build up in the hair. The shampoo lathers well and cleans the hair without stripping it. The serum leaves some qualities to be desired (it doesn't lessen drying time, and doesn't leave the hair overly shiny). I mixed it 50/50 with argan oil to get the results I desired. Overall, good results for an even better price! -
This was a great series. I borrowed the first book from a friend, and ended up buying the box set the following day, and reading the series within three days. Definitely recommend!

Bounty paper towel is our household go to. It is reasonably priced, one sheet is enough to get the job done, it's strong, and absorbs a lot. I'm able to rinse it and reuse it many times when cleaning, without it beginning to fall apart. I like to use Bounty when cleaning the bathroom, which allows me to just dispose of the paper towel after instead of having to wash cleaning cloths. -

The Mickey Mouse Camping with Friends Activity Saucer has the most adorable theme. The accessories are well thought out to be engaging to baby, while also being quite easy on mom and dad's eyes as well. The camping theme includes a smores bead toy, rocking Pluto in a canoe, a light up lantern, a bead roller grill, and a spinning animal totem pole. There are four additional links to allow you to attach your own toys (so helpful as baby grows - it's nice to be able to adapt based on baby's interests!)
Finishing off the camping theme is a tree branch arch with a hanging Donald sun and Mickey moon. The best feature? When baby pulls on either, the Mickey at the top of the arch pops out . . . my daughter LOVES this!
The musical features are pretty great - when baby pulls on the sun or moon, they can trigger music. There are two settings - adult initiated and baby initated, so you can set the saucer to play music if baby isn't able to reach the sun and moon yet. There are also several volume levels, though I really like the music that comes with this saucer!
The baby seat spins completely around, and removes easily to be washed. Overall assembly was a breeze - very self explanatory, so much so that my two year old was able to easily tell which piece went where.
Overall, such a cute activity saucer, with some engaging features for your little one.
