Baby Duck Champagne
A friend gifted me a bottle since she knew I love sparkling wine, unfortunately not this one. It is way too syrupy and sweet and the bubbles were so rough. Just awful.

We buy this for summer patio parties and recently bought a few cases for an anniversary party. It is on price point for a tight budget, it is gorgeous to look at it the glass, rose coloured bubbles popping a fresh berry aroma. Hard to beat when it comes to bang for your buck, medium dry finish. -

Taittinger Brut Reserve Champagne is a very good choice for wedding gift, anniversary gift, any celebration of someone you love! It's a low to medium priced champagne ($65 approx) with good flavour, soft bubbles, classic champagne colour and dry finish. I really enjoy it from time to time, no need to pair with anything, but if you must chilled prawns are my fav. -

Excellent budget bubbly for large crowds or celebrating on a dime. Fairly dry, a bit salty in it's finish, but overall pleasing for cockails, mimosa's or punch bowls.

Lamarca Prosecco
Lamarca Prosecco with its classic blue label, is an excellent choice and comes in little split bottles too! Great for picnics. I find Prosecco usually too sweet for my taste, this is the one exception. Very dry, pale lemon colour, good bubbles... +

Pairs well with seafood and is a good choice for a summer patio wine with the girls. -

Way too sweet! Be warned that if you are looking for a dry sparkling wine, similar to champagne or a Spanish Cava, this is not close. It worries me when I see it grouped under champagne category in the liquor store without a sweetness code rating... +

Truly a sweet "dessert" wine, not a good aperitif or cocktail hour drink. -

I am a champagne aficionado, but will try anything sparkling at a lower price range, as long as it is dry. This Hungaria sparkling wine is brut, the bubbles are a big aggressive, but palatable. The finish is salty, dry and although nowhere near true champagne, really hits the mark for price point. Hard to beat this for a wedding party or when you need to celebrate on a dime. Slightly yellow in colour. -

My favourite summer perfume! I love Clinique Happy Perfume in the summer time, it lasts long, never overpowers. My usual fragrance is Clinique Aromatics Elixir, but that is better in cooler temps, so Happy it is for the warmer months and my hubby... +

COVERGIRL LashBlast Clump Crusher Mascara
Excellent mascara, not too pricey. I have short lashes and CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara by LashBlast seems to make them longer and thicker without big globs everywhere!
