L’Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream

This is one of the easiest caulks to work with - even for a rookie. I’m just learning the technique so having a product thats user friendly is super important to me. I had one small job left after our basement renovation and that was the silicone around the drink/candy station. I am loving this Grown Alchemist Skin Defense Primer. It’s silicone free (super important to me) acts as a makeup primer and is a light weight gel. You only need to use a pea sized amount after your moisturizer and before your makeup for the smoothest skin ever. It has an earthy essential oil type of very light scent at first application but doesn’t linger. Oh and did I mention that it mattifies the skin so no more shine in all the wrong places 😉.

I was surprised to receive only a few days worth of the product to try. I don't think that's a long enough time to determine the effectiveness of them. I will speak to the product itself and its ingredients. They have a good taste but do have a bit of an aftertaste to them. I will assume it's the black elderberry. The ingredients are what I was a little surprised at. The first 'non medicinal' ingredient listed is cane sugar - for diabetics or anyone following a sugar free and or low carb lifestyle, these would not be the best addition to their lifestyle in my opinion. The other red flag or 'no no' ingredient was vegetable oil. There is increasingly more information on the negative effects of seed oils so having it in a product that supports good health doesn't make sense to me.
