I would buy this product for any kid in the intended age group. My daughter received it as a gift and absolutely loved it. She loved that it came with different shapes and animals to mold the sand with and she loved that whatever she made stayed together better and easier then real sand. She also loved the color of the sand. And I loved that it is so much easier to clean up not at all as messy as regular sand. -
