I think I finally found a hand cream that is able my ride or die Vichy hand cream. This absorbs quickly without leaving my hands feeling greasy on the contrary, my hands look really healthy after using this for more than a week! Nivea really surprised me with their amazing quality and what I love most is how reasonably priced the brand is. -

I was really reluctant to test this body oil as I was worried that it might be way too heavy for the warmer weather however to my delight this is a very light oil that absorbs almost instantly but at the same time delivers intense hydration! Love it!

I tried my very best to love Nivea 3-in-1 Micellar Water especially after reading so many amazing reviews about it. I was lucky to #GotItFree courtesy of ChickAdvisor but it falls short in so many ways. I like that it doesn't leave any tackiness or residue on my skin after cleansing but....and it's a very big but, it just doesn't cleanse properly. I don't wear heavy makeup, don't wear waterproof mascara or eye liner and this micellar water struggles to remove my makeup. It even struggle to remove Nars Matte Lip Crayon in shade Cruella, that's how terrible it is. I like using it when I'm only using a tinted lip balm, tinted moisturizer but that defeats the purpose, no? I much prefer Garnier pink cap, La Roche Posay or the good old Bioderma. Skip this and save your money. -

I love that NIVEA 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer Dry to Sensitive Skin doesn't come with huge promises instead it claims to deliver the basics; quick absorbing, hydrating, smoothing and prolongs makeup. I #GotItFree courtesy of ChickAdvisor and tested it for a week with every day usage and under multiple foundations. I tested it under Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, Bobbi Brown Serum Foundation, bareMineral Complexion Rescue, Burberry Fresh Glow foundation and Vichy Teint Ideal Powder foundation and the good news, it didn't make any of the foundations pill. It also prolong my makeup and I find my base looks almost as good and fresh after an 8 hour work shift.
Now let's get to the not so good...the scent. Unfortunately this primer has a very strong floral scent and it reminds me of my grandma. I'm usually fine with fragrance but this is very strong and overwhelming and it lingers a good while after application. I'm also not a fan of its jar packaging, I personally think it's better if it comes in a airless pump packaging which is more hygienic and keep the product fresh longer. And finally, I don't find this primer to be particularly hydrating and on the contrary, I find my skin feeling and looking a little parch at the 6-7 hours mark.
I think this primer suits dry, normal and combo skin but for my very dry and mature skin, it just doesn't deliver enough.

I had no idea what to expect from the new La Roche-Posay Micellar Water and quite frankly I tried it without much expectation...well, micellar water is just a micellar water, right? Wrong! The one that I tried courtesy of ChickAdvisor was meant for Reactive skin and while it's gentle on the skin, it's a powerhouse at removing my makeup.
I find it to remove my makeup and cleanse my skin as good as if not better than Bioderma. It also removed my mascara (I use 2-3 coats) easily and definitely much better than Garnier pink cap. While it does have a scent, take note that the Reactive Micellar water has NO fragrance however the one meant for Sensitive Skin does contains fragrance.
I highly recommend this new La Roche Posay Reactive Skin Micellar Water, you don't need to use much, it's so gentle on the skin while very efficient at removing impurities.
*I received this product for free through ChickAdvisor in exchange for an honest review.

I bought this mascara when it was first released and I hated it. It was too wet and made my lashes stick together, I ended up looking like I have 3 lashes on each eye. Fast forward two years, I decided to give it another try and it was love at first use. I feel like Maybelline has changed the formula, it's not as wet anymore and it gives my lashes, length, curl and volume without making making them clumpy. -

I hate the price ($11.99CAD) because it's NYX which is supposed to be a budget brand but that aside, this is so dreamy on my sparse brows. I have the shade chocolate which is perfect match for me (I'm Asian) with brownish black hair. The product was hard when I tried swatching in store on my hand and initially I was really worried but it was perfect on the brow. Gives a very natural finish, blends beautifully and very long lasting. -

This is a very TRICKY mascara but it works if you have the patience for it. I have short, stick straight and sparse lashes and this mascara gave me volume, length and curl HOWEVER, I need to be extra careful with application. I need to curl both my lashes, apply the mascara to both eyes WITHOUT dipping the wand in for more products. I keep combing through both lashes until the product dried down and voila! long, full and curled lashes. -
