I have been hestitant with trying new primers because some have caused me to break out (not normal for me). I am happy to say that did not happen with Nude by Nature's Perfecting Primer.
It applied easily. My make-up went on smoothly over and and my T-zone stayed shine free through out my workday (it works better than the MAC oil control primer that I have).

These clothes were not effective in taking off all my makeup. They also left a feeling like something was on my face. My face did not feel clean after use.

The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant (Yorkdale Mall)

My friend and I decided to brave the long line and go to the cheesecake factory. We arrived around 1:30pm on a Saturday hoping to catch a smaller crowd. They we giving out buzzers with a ~2 hour wait for meals. This was a good thing because we could shop the mall (within the areas the buzzer reached) while we waited.
Our server was great. She was energetic, friendly and happy to share information about the menu. She told us that all the food (including sauces) are made in house. The menu is HUGE. It ranges from Italian, burgers, orange chicken and even Rib-eye/Filet mignon There is something for everyone on this menu.
I had the burger with Cheese and bacon wit sweet potato fries. The burger was delicious. The bottom bun was "spongy" (no other way to describe it) from the grease of the burger. I was happy the bun took all that grease and took it off to eat my burger. I had a few of the sweet potato fries. They were good. I was full without having the fries.
We ordered our cheesecakes. I had the Oreo and my friend had the Hershey's. I had 1/3 of my piece and took the rest to go. It was AMAZING. The best cheesecake I have ever had. I had some of the Hershey's cheesecake too. It was very good but I enjoyed the Oreo one much more.
By the time we left (we were seated at 3:15pm), there was a line down the mall of people waiting to sign up to wait. The restaurant ran out of buzzers. I was happy we went when we did.
TIPS. Consider going with a friend and sharing a meal (if you don't want leftovers).
Go for lunch around 2pm to have a shorter wait (it is still long but way better than dinner).

Thank you Boxycharm for sending the South Mane Eye Gel Pacs. I was excited to see how they would work on my undereye darkness and and puffiness. I read the instructions and applied the gel packs every night for 3 days (on a clean face). The gel pac feels nice and cool on the under eye area. It was easy to apply and remove. It stayed on my face easily for the 30 minutes it needed while I did things around my home.
Overall, I did notice any difference in my under eye area after using it for 3 days.

Aloette oil control toner
I have been using this toner (and Aloette skin care) for years. I love this toner. It feels refreshing when I apply it. It dries quickly and my skin has a "fresh" feeling. It is my go to product step that i never miss. I definitely recommend it.

Aloette time repair serum
I have been using Aloette as my skin care brand (only) for many years. This serum is great. Glides on easily and is absorbed quickly. I know women who have used the serum for 10+ years and they all look younger than they are. It is a great product.

I was originally confused about a brow pencil that is "universal transforming shade adjusts to all hair colors based on pressure". I mean how can it work for all hair colours? I tried it and yes it gets darker with pressure or if you apply with a few strokes. It is a nice natural look that is usually a challenge to achieve with a eyebrow pencil. I love this product and will definitely recommend it. -

I used to be a regular diner at the Senator. I stopped going as often because it was getting expensive for easy to make brunch food. I went in January and was shocked by the HUGE price increase for the same food. A bowl of oatmeal for $12 plus tax and tip is ridiculous for a diner. Prices are over $20 for dishes with pancakes and bacon.
The food is tasty but not enough for the prices. I am sad since I lost one of my regular dining spots. Toronto has too many good, affordable brunch places to justify eating here anymore.

I already use another brand of Root Retoucher spray and was excited to be chosen to try Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher for ChickAdvisor's Product review club. First thing I noticed was that the Schwarzkopf spray bottle is almost double the size (120g) than my usual product (57g) for a comparable suggested retail price.
Schwarzkopf spray was very accurate and it was easy to apply to my roots. It applied evenly and did a great job covering my roots. The color was a great match.
I will be using this product in the future.

I do not like or eat fish so I have been trying omega-3 supplements.
I enjoy that this supplement is just a spoonful of oil and move on with my day. It is easier than taking a pill and the lemon flavour is mild. When I looked at the label, I was stunned that this was a vegetarian supplement. No fish oil? This had me go to their website (listed on the product www.nutrasea.ca) to find what the vegetarian source of EPA and DHA. I found it is derived from algae.
The package has a third party pure check when you can put in the batch # from the bottle to see how much EPA/DHA was found in the testing. My product batch had EPA + DHA label claim: 500 mg and EPA + DHA test result*: 549 mg. It even lists 8 other tests (e.g. mercury, my batch had 0).
I am enjoying this product and recommend it.
