This is my first time using a heated eye mask and I am impressed. Once I opened up the package and put the loops behind my ears I thought this is not working. What a scam. And then the mask started to slowly release heat and it was absolute heaven. Apparently the iron particles in the mask react when exposed to oxygen molecules. It also has a light scent of jasmine that relaxed me even more. Although it says to leave the mask on for 15 minutes I left it on for an hour until it no longer heated. Unfortunately I used this in the early evening but next time I will definitely try it right before bed. It has the look and feel of a sleeping mask and the elastic loops fit comfortably around the ears. It definitely made me feel like snuggling up in bed and going to sleep. After a long day it made my eyes feel less puffy and tired. I am now inspired to try other brands of heated masks like this. -

I ordinarily use pure, cold pressed argan oil however my friend gave this to me so I decided to give it a try. The first thing I noticed when I looked at the ingredients is that argan oil is not even the main ingredient in the listing. The top 3 ingredients are soy bean, canola oil, fragrance and then spinosa kernel oil ( which is argan oil) and a list of other oils and BHT. This oil was very thick and didn't seem to absorb into the hair like other oils that I have used in the past. It seemed to sit on top and coat the hair. Since I usually apply oil to my hair before washing I wasnt too concerned about this. I found this hair oil slightly harder to wash out than the regular brands I have used in the past but on the bright side it did give the appearance of thicker fuller hair like as advertised on the bottle but it did fall short in the moisturizing department. I took a look online and it seems this brand is very inexpensive. Although I womt say its true for everything sometimes you get what you pay for. I definitely wouldn't go out and buy a bottle and now I know for sure why my friend gave it to me. -

This is a wonderful, invigorating shower gel. The mango scent over powers the coriander. It lathers nicely and rinses easily leaving my skin feeling fresh and clean. It doesnt dry out my skin and the scent lingers lightly even after my shower is done. It says on the bottle that this 100 ml bottle can last 40 showers. I didn't count how many I got out of this bottle but I do know that such a small amount is needed and it lasted me quite awhile. -

I am currently six months pregnant and have not been sleeping very good so I was hoping this eye mask would help. I like the fact that it is a cream mask. The directions say to leave it on for 10 minutes before removing it. Although this did give a nice cooling effect it did nothing else. My eyes didnt look more awake, feel more moisturized or look less puffy. However I like that this product contains natural ingredients. The full ingredient list is cucumber, Japanese green tea extracts, watermelon extracts, hyaluronic acid and licorice extract. The price of this product is a bit steep for a 15 ml tube but alot of tge times you pay for tge name. I will use this product till it's gone but won't repurchase. I'm going to try putting it in the fridge and see if that helps a little with the puffiness. -

This is as good as a bottled smoothie is going to get. Although there is no sugar added there is 44g of naturally occurring sugar. Since it is sugar from fruits I don't mind. This smoothie according to the bottle contains 22 strawberries, 1 1/3 apples, 1 1/3 bananas and a hint of orange. This is a healthier option drink and a great source of pottasium and vitamin C. I felt this drink had a perectly smooth texture and tasted great. In my opinion this is as close as you can get to a homemade smoothie taste in a bottle. I bought it on sale for 1.98$ for a 450 ml bottle but would have been hesitant to buy it at regular price. However now that I have tried it I would definitely buy it at regular price as an occasional treat. -

I have a 50 ml size of Bobbi Brown Beach Body Scrub that my husband purchased as a set with the matching perfume, shower gel and body lotion. This is a really thick paste with pumice granules that help exfoliate the body. Personally I use this to exfoliate my feet and it works well. I massage it into my feet for a few minutes and then rinse it off and my feet look and feel softer. Then I apply a cream and wear socks and my feet are like new. I had to use this a few times to get all the dry patches off but it worked better than most foot exfoliant I have used in the past. It is a bit hard to rinse off but the results are worth it. Not to mention this product smells exactly like summer. The beach and sunscreen. It is a little bit pricey but since it was a gift I won't complain.

I seen this at winners for an affordable price so I had to try it. I love that it is 30 ml's when most other eye creams are only 15 ml's. Although it looks like it would be a pot you open up the cover and there is a pump that you push down and the cream comes out of the small hole in the middle. I find one pump is enough for both of my eyes. It is a very light cream that seems to melt into the skin. This keeps my surrounding eye area well moisturized. It also contains retinol.
I found when I first started using this eye cream I don't really notice a difference in the fine lines around my eyes but after continuous use I didn't even have lines when I smiled. I actually went back to winners to buy more but ended up picking up the night Cream by mistake. If I ever see this at winners again I will definitely pick up more than one. I find Elizabeth Grant products are hit or miss but this one was a definite hit for me.

If you are looking for a healthier option drink give Vega Protein Nutrition Shake a try. It's a vegan certified, plant based drink containing an assortment of fruits and vegetables. There's only 7 grams of sugar in the entire 325ml bottle, 20g of protein, vitamins and minerals, 4g of fibre as well as omegas.
When I picked this up at Pharmaprix for 3.99$ I assumed it wouldn't taste as good as chocolate milk and I was right. It was a bit thick and chalky tasting for my liking. It is sweetened with stevia which not everyone likes but this drink is perfect for those who are lactose intolerant. I personally would buy this drink again because it is a healthier choice compared to most other drinks that are packed full of sugar.

I have a friend who knows I am obsessed with skin care. She recently brought me a small 2 oz tub of Prevailing Organic Essentials Natures Touch Midnight Jasmine Body Butter. This is 70% organic and smells absolutely divine. The light scent of jasmine is so relaxing and lingers on long after applying. It's rich, buttery and leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth. I really like the fact that this is a small owned Canadian made product. -

Although this dish soap wasn't bad I definitely find the original formula thicker, more sudsy and better at cutting through the grease. I even prefer the original lemon scent over this. Sunlight has been around for 100 years but they are also evolving with the times. The formula is biodegradable making you feel like you're doing your part for the environment. Sunlight has always been my favorite brand but I will stick with the original lemon scented one. -
