Dark licorice has such a strong taste and it's not for me. My dad always loved these dark licorice pipes. I personally didnt. I love they are in the shape of a pipe. It makes it such an original candy. Its just not for me. I will stick to strawberry licorice. But if you like dark licorice then give this a try. -

Growing up Runts were in my top five favorite candy list. They were shaped like mini fruits and came in artificial fruit flavors. They had a crunchy shell with a hard powdered candy interior. I would always suck on them and savour the taste for a few seconds and then bite into them. Banana was always my favorite flavor. As an adult they don't taste as good as they did when I was a kid but they were still okay. I actually picked up a box a while back and it was somewhat nostalgic. I imagine my kids will enjoy these bite sized candies when they get older. -

Vachon Miami Cakes
As far as boxed cakes go I really enjoy Vachon. Out of them all Miami's are my favorite. What's not to love. A nice light spongy cake with sweet creamy frosting on top, encompassed with toasted coconut. These go perfectly with a cold glass of milk.

As a child I absolutely loved Quakers Raisins and spice oatmeal. Nothing is better on a cold day than a warm bowl of cereal. Although these pre made oatmeal packages are pretty high in sugar you still have the healthy benefits of whole grain oats.
Instant oatmeal is fast and easy to make. Just add hot water and if you're like me a little dollop of milk or cream and you're ready to go. As an adult I dont usually buy Quaker instant oatmeal but you bet when I do its raisins and spice.
I notice raisins and spice are not as common as some of the other flavors. In my area the only place I can get it is Walmart. I don't understand why cause I find this one to be less sweet. The only complaint I really have is there is not a lot of raisins in each pouch. I believe if Quaker wanted to improve this cereal they would add large, juicy sultana raisins.

I definitely recommend ratting them soon after taking them out of the oven cause that's when they taste best. Unlike homemade baked goods they don't taste as good after sitting a while. That's not a problem in our household cause they are literally gone right away. I love my sweets and who doesn't love the smell of apple and cinnamon lingering in their house. -

I know vegetable oil might not be the healthiest option and I try to use olive oil in its place whenever possible. However when I'm deep frying food Unico vegetable oil works great. Whenever I make churros I fry them up in this oil and they taste absolutely delicious. This comes in a 4 litre jug so it lasts a long time. I have even used this oil on occasion to grease my cake pans when I ran out of coconut oil. I love how it prevents food from sticking and doesn't alter the taste of my food. -

I always have a bag of redbath brown sugar in my house. I do a lot of baking so I use this in my cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip cookies, apple fritter cake and so much more. I also use this brown sugar for cooking. Its great to use in sweet and sour meatballs. I also love to mix sirrachi sauce and brown sugar and apply it to my chicken and pork. It's so tasty. This is the brand I know and trust and really the only brand that comes to my mind when I think of brown sugar. -
