I have been eatting Robin Hood Quick oats almost every day for the past month. I have to admit I enjoy them way more than the instant packaged oatmeal that Quaker makes. I love the fact that I can control how sweet I want it. Sometimes I eat it plain and other times I add brown sugar and cinnamon along with dried raisins and cranberries. It makes a great breakfast since it's healthy and 100% whole grains. It's a source of fibre, iron and protein and not to mention cholesterol free. I find it keeps me full longer than most breakfast meals. The main reason I'm eatting oats so frequently is because it's supposed to be a good way to increase milk production while breastfeeding and so far it seems to be working. I love the quick oats because they are easy to make. You simply boil water, add the oats, stir well and they are done. I also use it for baking everything from oatmeal cookies, oatmeal muffins, apple crisp and so much more. Robin Hood isca good quality brand that I have come to know and trust. -

My husband picked out Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in the color Tidal Wave because it resembles his favorite color Subaru blue. The only thing is when he picked it up he didn't realize this nail color was part of a two step system. With that being said I decided to try it without the top coat. I have to say I absolutely love the color. It's a nice, rich, vibrant cobalt blue that really pops.
Upon application I noticed the scent was unpleasant and toxic smelling. I also did not like the brush. I found it was way too thick made it awkward for me to apply. I have been accustomed to much smaller brushes and have mastered the technique with those but not with a thicker brush. Because of that I applied the polish messier than usual. I also found the polish went on too thick, especially considering the directions on the bottle tell you to use two coats and a topcoat. You would definitely have to swipe the brush around the rim of the bottle to get rid of excess nail color.
I found the polish went on thick but I still applied the second coat as recommended. It took a very long time to dry. Even after an hour wait I still ended up knicking my nails and smudging a few of them and needing to do touch ups. Although this is gel nail color it says no light needed on the bottle. I believe his claim may have been a little too good to be true and I was right. The polish was chipping off the next day to my disappointment. Especially considering my husband paid $9.99 at Shoppers Drugmart. Because I don't have the top coat that is the second step for this gel color I will definitely give it another go.
Although I absolutely loved the vibrant color I will probably not repurchase the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel because I don't like the brush and how thick it applies and that it takes forever to dry. Although this might be good for someone that has time to sit around and let their nails dry. It was not good for me as I have a toddler and a newborn that I'm constantly needing to chase after and pick up so I need something that dries quickly.

I absolutely love the Japanese Cherry Blossom Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel from Bath And Body Works. When you first apply it, it smells like alcohol but once it is absorbed into your hands it leaves a nice floral scent. It doesn't leave my hands feeling sticky like some hand sanitizers tend to do and it doesn't dry my hands out. In fact strangely enough it seems to leave my hands feeling soft and smooth. I have it in a 29 ml bottle with a flip top making it easily portable. I keep a bottle in my purse as well as my daughter's diaper bag. Since I work in the halthcare field I definitely know the importance of a good hand sanitizer. This is my favorite one so far. I find it funny that I like the Japanese Cherry Blossom Hand Sanitizer butI didn't like the lotion in the same scent. Either way I would definitely recommend this product to my family and friends and will be purchasing it again. -

Whenever I go out I always end up getting the same few drinks so the other day I decided to be adventurous and try something new. I picked up a bottle of PROTEIN 2o Protein Water in harvest grape and I was not disappointed. Although its considered water in my opinion it tastes exactly like grape juice. These waters are great cause there's zero sugar content, 15 g of protein and consists of only 60 calories in the entire 500 ml bottle and they are naturally flavored. So if you're looking for a healthier alternative to fruit juice I would definitely recommend this drink. It is sweetened with sucralose which is something I have grown accustomed to since my husband is diabetic but I know will not be a selling point for some. I purchased this drink at Shoppers Drugmart for $2.49 for a single bottle which in my opinion is a good price. They come in a few other flavors which I will definitely be trying in the near future. -

The NPW Pomegranate And Paw Paw Face Mask is a single 15 ml pack intended for a single time use. I first washed and dried my face and then I applied the thick cream over my face and neck. I did slather it on thick since there was lots of the product to work with. It was white and creamy and had a light fruit scent that was very pleasing. I left it on for fifteen minutes and then washed it off using a wash cloth. The results were very noticeable. It made my skin look radiant and super soft. It's only the second time I used a face mask. The first time I used a sheet mask which I enjoyed a bit more as they are less messy. But with that being said and the fact that I loved the look and feel of my skin after using this mask I would definitely purchase it again. -

Although this is a serum it seems to be a little thicker than most of the other ones I have used in the past. Even still I love it cause it still spreads easily and absorbs well. It doesn't leave the skin feeling or looking oily. In fact once it's absorbed it leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth and looking absolutely flawless. It has minimal scent which dissipates almost immediately. When I use this serum it works so well I don't even need to apply moisturizer. It even wears well under my makeup making it going on flawlessly. Although this serum is expensive it does give a nice glow and seems to reduce the minimal frown lines I have on my forehead. Clinique is definitely a reliable brand that I have come to know and love. -

I was really excited to give my feet a little TLC with the NPW Shea Butter & Peach Kernel Foot Cream that I received in a pamper pack. I started out soaking and filing my feet and then I applied the cream. Once I massaged the cream into my feet I applied socks immediately bafterwards. It says on the directions to keep the socks on for the night for best results. I checked an hour afterwards and found that my feet had absorbed all the cream and were no longer well moisturized. The package was 15 ml so I thought it would have been enough but I guess for my callused feet I need to have quite a bit slathered on to make a difference. It seems the only product that has worked so far to soften my feet is Vaseline and Udder Cream so that is what I will stick with until I find something better. I believe this cream would be better suited for someone that doesn't need to soften calluses. -

I find this is a thick, luxurious cream that intensely moisturizes my surrounding eye area. Upon using this cream I have noticed the faint, fine lines on the outer corner of my eyes have completely disappeared. The under eye area looks firmer and tighter. The cream is lightly scented but once applied to the eye are it dissipates almost immediately. It is a thicker eye cream which some people might not like but this is not an issue for me. The only surrounding eye problem I have concern for is dark circles on the inner corners of my eyes. I found this cream did nothing to help with that so although it is a good cream I probably won't repurchase it for that reason. But if you're looking for an eye cream that moisturizes and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles this cream would be good for you. -

I absolutely love Sheila G's Brownie Brittle Salted Caramel cookies. They are thin squared cookies that taste like the crunchy edges of a brownie. So if you're a brownie lover like me you will definitely want to try these. They are just the perfect taste of sweet and salty. Sheila G makes brownie brittle in alot of other flavors as well such as mint chocolate chip, peanut butter chip, toffee crunch and so much more. I'm looking forward to tasting the other ones as well. I purchased a 4 oz bag at winners for 2.99$ and in my opinion it's well worth the regular price of 4.00$ and up. I will definitely be purchasing these crunchy little pieces of delight in the very near future. -

I had three 8 ml sample bottles of Lancome Advanced youth Activating concentrate and it seems to be a serum that has a gel like consistency that glides nicely on the skin and absorbs almost instantaneously. Although I wanted to like this serum it did not give me a nice youthful glow that some even less expensive serums tend to give me and it did nothing to plump up my skin and fill in those frown lines I have in the center of my forehead. On the bright side it did not irritate my skin or cause any breakouts. On the bottle it says it's for all skin types and it's dermatologist tested. Although Lancome has some very good products I am glad I got to sample this first because I would not have been happy if I would have purchased this at full retail price. -
