The Gourmet Village Peppermint Hot Chocolate comes in a tin cannister which keeps your hot chocolate freshly sealed. The instructions are very easy to follow. You add two tablespoons of mix to 6 oz of hot milk. I love that this is milky and creamy and the pepper into flavor is not overpowering. If you follow the instructions exactly it has a light peppermint taste. If you prefer a more stronger peppermint taste you will definitely need to add extra mix. I have to say I can honestly say I prefer the After Eight hot chocolate mix to this but this is still a nice alternative. -

I had Great Value Buttermilk Pancakes for breakfast this morning. I usually make homemade pancakes or use Aunt Jemima pancake mix but the other day when I was at Walmart I seen this brand for less than 2.00$ a box and thought I would give it a try.
I followed the directions on the box. Although the batter was really thick I wanted to cook them exactly as directed, so I warmed the griddle and ladled some out. I find most pancake batters usually start to bubble on the top when they are ready to be flipped but these ones didn't so I used common sense and turned them after a few minutes . Once they were cooked I poured some syrup on them and breakfast was served.
I did find them a bit too fluffy for my liking. I personally prefer a more thin, crepe like pancake. I also find the Aunt Jemima pancake mix has a better taste and texture. I might try them again but add a little more water and see if that works them a bit thinner.
The one thing I love about these instant pancake mixes is they make a fast and easy breakfast! If you want you can add fruits or Chocolate chips to the mix to alter the taste and you can top them with almost anything you want.

We always have a few boxes of Nature Valley Chewy trail mix. They are the perfect combination of sweet and salty. The dark chocolate is absolutely delicious. The combination of rolled oats, dark chocolate, peanuts and raisins compliment eachother nicely.
When I'm craving something sweet I feel less guilty grabbing one of these than I do a chocolate bar. There's 140 calories per bar, they are cholesterol free and have 0 trans fats and made with real whole grains. The best part is they are inexpensive. A box of give bars only cost 1.88$ at Walmart. They are great treats for on the go. I always have a few packed away in the diaper bag just in case one of us gets hungry while we're out. Nature Valley Bars will definitely remain a staple in our household.

This was my first time ever using a silicone makeup sponge and I was a little bit sceptical about how it would apply my makeup. I have used it twice so far and the first time I tried it I was very disappointed. I applied my usual amount of tinted moisturizer and started to rub the product in with the silicone beauty sponge and it was just swooshing the product around and most of the product was not absorbing in. I was almost ready to give it a bad review but then I thought about how with the beauty sponge you have to dab your product into your skin so I decided to watch a few videos demonstrating how to properly use the beauty sponge and realized I was right. Not only was my application technique wrong but with this applicator you don't need to apply as much of the product as you would if you were using a sponge, brush or your fingers.
The second time I used it I added way less tinted moisturizer and dabbed it into my skin until the product was completed blended into my skin. It did take a bit longer than it would have with other applicators but not by much. The only complaint I really have is that I cannot use this to apply concealer around my eyes because it does not fit comfortably in the corners of my eyes or my surrounding eye area. They should probably reconsider the design and slightly change the shape of the sponge so you can use it to apply concealer as well.
After I finished applying my tinted moisturizer I rinsed the sponge under warm water and thn applied my cream blush again useing a patting motion until it was well absorbed and to my liking. I'm unsure if this would work as well with foundation as opposed to tinted mmoisturizer.
I have to say I am very pleased with the ease of using this product and the fact that it will save me money cause I will be wasting less product then I would using a sponge or brush applicator. Also it's so much easier to clean. Just wash under warm water and put it back into the plastic storage case that comes with until your ready to use it again. This silicone sponge is going to last longer than actual sponges and are way more hygienic.To be honest I may use this occassionly but It will not be replacing my beauty sponge. If I had to rate in order which method of application I would use it would bd my Laritzy Pro Blender Sponge, makeup brush, fingers and lastly the silicone sponge.

Boiron Coryzalia is a homeopathic cold medicine that I trust. My now 17 month old daughter has her second cold since birth and both times we have given her this product and we are very pleased with the results. The second her cold symptoms became apparent we immediately started giving this to her. The recommended dosage is one vial three times daily so we were giving her one in the morning, one after supper and one before bed. After the third vial her symptoms were noticeably better. She had less nasal congestion, her nose was running less and her sneezing came almost to a halt. I also used baby Vicks at night in conjunction with this medicine.
Today is her second day using Coryzalia and although early morning she still had some lingering symptoms, by late evening there was a few sneezes and nothing more. As the symptoms get better you lessen the dose. I paid 12$ for ten vials. The vials are sterile and drinkable. You just turn the top and then your child can drink out of the vial of you can gently squeeze it into her mouth. It does say on the box it can be used as early as 1 month to 11 years. I cannot verify if it as productive on an older child but it has worked well for my young daughter both times we have used it.
This product has no sugar, no dyes, no preservatives and works well. It does not help with fevers so if your child does have a fever I would recommend using children's Tylenol or some other product that helps fight fever. This is a great product and one that I would recommend to parents that are looking for a homeopathic approach to their child's cold.

These are absolutely delicious. A lovely milk chocolate with a smooth, creamy, velvety filling that Lindt is renowned for. You can taste the quality in every bite. This bar breaks apart in segments so you can share it with others but if you're a chocolate lover like myself you might not want to share. I was delighted today to see my local Dollarama sells them for a dollar each. I bought two and I'm ashamed to say I ate them both. I definitely see another trip in the nearby future to buy more of these wonderful Chocolate bars. -

Your personal information such as age, sex, height weight and what your desired weight is and how long you want to take to get there and it will give you the amount of calories you need to either lose, gain or maintain. There's a section where you place all your meals so it can calculate your calories and tell you roughly how many calories you have left or how many calories you went over. There's also a section that you can place any kind of physical activity you had that day and how many extra calories more you are permitted due to your exercise. Theres a section where you can put in if there's any weight change and it will chart it and so many other wonderful features. This is an easy to use app to use which is great for me because I don't like apps or sites that are overly difficult to understand and it's very easy to navigate. This is definitely a health app I would recommend to friends and family wanting to regulate or monitor their weight. -

I did receive this sample for free but my dog enjoyed them so much we are going to purchase them with our next order from Walmart where we also purchase our 18kg of Pedigree dog food. -

Great Value Marshmallow Hot Chocolate mix is very well priced compared to other brands. I paid only 3.27$ for 500g at Walmart and the Carnation Hot Chocolate of the same size retailed at 5.27$.
I followed the instructions exactly the first time I made a cup by adding 3 tablespoons of mix to 3/4 cup of hot water. It says to add hot milk instead of water for a creamier taste and that's what I would recommend. It was way too sweet for me with hot water. I still had to add a bit of milk to cut down the sweetness as I'm not overly fond of really sweet drinks.
The second time I tried it I added hot milk in place of the water and it tasted so richer and creamier. Since it is a container of powder you can alter the amount you add to fit your taste as I know some would prefer it more chocolatey but my preference is more milky.
The one thing you will probably want to do if you really like marshmallows is have some handy to add in because the ones included seem to melt as soon as the hot water or milk is added. Although the powder itself mixes well the only complaint I have is that no matter how much I mix it there seems to always be a bit of chocolate that did not mix at the bottom of the cup. Also if you only add 3/4 cup of water or milk as recommended it only fills a little more than half of a coffee cup.
In my opinion this is another fairly good Great Value product. I have to say my favorite two generic brands are Great Value and Presidents choice. There's not too much by these two brands that I don't like. They are both brands I trust.

It's a brightly colored plastic bucket that comes with ten brightly colored blocks in different shapes. There's a removable top that has the same shapes hollowed out so your toddler can place the the matching blocks into the bucket. Once your toddler has matched all the shapes and dropped them into the bucket they can remove the top, empty the blocks out and start all over again. My 17 month old daughter loves when she matches the shapes correctly and I clap and get excited! It really gives her a sense of accomplishment and makes her feel proud. This is a very basic toy that I believe is a must have for all toddlers. -
