I'll be honest, at first, I was skeptical. I've never had a good experience with dry shampoos but this was different. The Batiste Waterless Cleansing Foam isn't like any "normal" dry shampoo, it feels wet at first and looks a lot like mousse but dries in a minute. I got the one with the cactus water and can I mention how great this smells? It really does refresh your hair and smells refreshing. No need to keep using products that turn your hair white or make a mess using other products. Batiste, you've given me hope that I can count on a product that works when I need the extra little touch up!

Hi lovelies! today I would like to dedicate our discussion to favorite face serums. My favorite everyday face serum is the Vinisource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum by @caudalie - why is that? Well, let me tell you a bit more about my skin. By now, some of you already know that I suffer from extremely sensitive and easily irritated and dry skin primarily linked to rosacea. While I do use key products targeted to reduce redness, I was searching for an everyday alternative that wouldn't break the bank. After having tried a sample of Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching serum, I instantly fell in love and have been repurchasing it ever since. For days where irritation or dryness is an issue, the serum provides soothing relief and hydration, and on regular days, the serum provides balance. What's more, the other day, my parents came over for coffee and I noticed my dads extremely dry/flakey/scabed forehead. (Yes, you guessed it, my skin problems are graciously passed down from my dad). I then offered to apply some of the serum, and just as soon as I applied some on his face, he instantly felt soothing relief. I, being the thoughtful daughter, gave the rest of my vial to my dad so that he could continue using it for a few dats AND after applying the serum just 2 more times (morning and evening after) hydration had been restored and his scabs had just about dissapeared! Can you imagine my surprise when he asked for the serum as a Christmas gift? Think about it, my dad's a baby boomer who never uses any skincare products whatsoever, but THIS serum changed the game. A very exciting breakthrough! So if you're looking to restore hydration, you should check this out.

The main ingredients which promote hydration and balance include Hyaluronic acid, Vinolevure, Olive squalane, Organic grape water and Polyphenols. Moreover, no parabens, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, mineral oils or animal-derived ingredients are used in Caudalie products.

Day-to-day, I look for hydrating, easy to blend products that provides a balanced look with just the right amount of coverage. I also look for products that are compatible with my sensitive skin yet doesn't "break the bank". This product provides all of the above, AND if that wasn't enough, it also gives a nice lumonous/satin finish, doesn't streak, and can withstand an entire workday (in combination with the primer and setting spray). Definitely ensure to find the right shade and you won't regret it. For my light complexion, natural soft beige is my shade. As a drugstore product, recommended! Got sensitive skin? Got dry skin? Large Pores? No problem! This product has you covered. Thanks to the aloe and cucumber extracts among the ingredients, this product is compatible with sensitive skin, provides hydration for up to 8 hours AND helps reduce the appearance of pores.that checks off all three boxes for my problem areas! Oh and of course, it helps set your makeup. That's multitasking alright! I personally find that the product works best by spraying before and after makeup application depending on the finish of the foundation you use. If the product is more matte, go with the double spraying technique as suggested. Otherwise, spraying on top of makeup should be sufficient. Overall, very impressed with the new Bare With Me line.
The Tinted skin Veil, Hydrating jelly primer and setting spray combined is definitely a triple threat. As a drugstore brand, this line is recommended!

First off, I absolutely love how the product feels once it has been applied. It has a silky feeling upon application despite the fact that it is a jelly. This product has a water-based formula, and thanks to the aloe and cucumber extracts, it feels great on the skin. Leave it set before applying makeup and you'll see a reduction in pores and creates an even surface. I'll admit that the very first time you feel the product, you're not entirely sure just how much to scoop out, but trust me, just a little bit goes a long way! As a drugstore brand, recommended! I received a complimentary Powder Foundation from the Can't Stop Won't Stop makeup line by NYX in the shade Soft Beige. I'll start off by saying that I have combination skin and tend to prefer liquid foundation for the most part given that my face is extremely dry with the exception of my extremely oily T-zone. That being said, I do use powder foundation in summer when I get a lot more oily as well as while on vacation for easy/fast application or touch ups. This shade perfectly matches my skin. I love the silky texture and the fact that the product is buildable. Since this powder has a matte finish and I prefer a dewy look, I spray on a little bit of setting spray and it does the trick. I would recommend this product to those who prefer full coverage concealers with a matte finish. The consistency is a tad too thick for my liking but does exactly what it promises, full day full coverage and that's what matters. Luckily the product is blendable so I'm able to work with it. This concealer is perfect for covering up blemishes and acne for spot correction (exactly what I need). Make sure to get your shade or you'll be able to tell that you're wearing concealer. Today, I'm sharing my experience trying out the Vinoperfect Brightening Glycolic Night Cream by @caudalie ; having very sensitive skin and rosacea, it has been a struggle finding the right skin care products. After having tried this cream, applying a thick layer to act as a mask before bed (suggested on the box), come the morning, my skin was more even toned and, slightly brighter than usual. I'm very happy with the result this far and I look forward to continue applying this product daily. -

This week, I had the opportunity to try John Frieda's Luxurious Volume Core Restore™ Advanced Protein Volumizer. This product is made for fine hair. Apply this heat activated volumizer onto towel-dried hair, brush to distribute evenly, then apply heat using a blow dryer to activate. For my hair length, two pumps is sufficient. I typically air dry my hair, but blow drying is well worth the trouble because this product works. To save some time, I flip my hair and dry at the roots while my ends air dry, then quickly pass the brow dryer all over. I'm glad to have had the opportunity to try this product.
