This is a miracle cream! I am not exaggerating. I can't recommend this product enough to anyone who has recently had some sort of skin trauma. It was recommended to me by Janine Falcon of imabeautygeek.com who has written on its healing powers many times over. I am very prone to blisters in the summer. Even shoes that I've had for a long time can all of a sudden start to give me blisters. I got really bad ones on the back of my heals, and wasn't able to wear anything but flip flops and even the air caused me to recoil in pain. After Janine recommended I hobbled over to Shoppers and bought it, and loaded it on my blisters. It's a really light ointment (not greasy) and doesn't smell and goes on clear. I felt it soak into my skin immediately and put bandages over top. When I took them off eight hours later the skin was pinkish and not red and throbbing. The skin felt like a baby's - super soft but still a bit tender and moist. There was no swelling. I applied it for the next four days (morning and night) and while my skin is still red and you can see the outline of the blister the skin is all smooth and new feeling and I can easily wear shoes. I find when blisters dry out and turn to calluses they can continue to cause pains, so that the back of my heels are now smooth and well moisturized, that they're red doesn't matter.
I would recommend this to anyone with a blister, cut, or a burn.

I love the clean feeling I get from this cleanser. I use it every night and it does an excellent job of removing all my makeup (even eye and my greasy foundation). It comes out rather thick, like a paste, and lathers up really nicely to feel foamy. I sometimes put it on a face sponge to exfoliate my skin. I have combination skin, and this doesn't make my skin dry and also has helped with the oily parts of my skin. I am still getting the odd zit, but I don't want to switch to a harsher face wash as have found them all so drying.
The smell is really lovely too. Floral with a bit of something fresh, they said cucumber when I was at the launch (where I was given this cleanser), but it doesn't smell like cucumber water. Definitely stronger on the floral.

The flavours are pretty standard, cookie dough, peanut butter and chocolate, heavenly hash, etc. Service is really great, they're really nice and friendly. I had a waffle cone and the scoop was pretty big for $5. The ice cream was really rich with lots of toppings in each bite. I would recommend for those who like good quality treats. -

Also, you get the feeling they don't go down the list, and let people in ahead of others. Seriously. But the food is so good, you'll find yourself going back anyways! The Tuna Tataki is amazing, so fresh and love the sauce. Chicken Karaage is great if someone in your party isn't into raw fish. It might see odd to see Brie Cheese on the menu, but get it! And for dessert you have to have the Tempura Banana. It's so yummy.
Once your sitting and ready to order, they won't come around that much to check on you so order big beers, so you won't be empty and order as much as you can in your first round as it can take a while to get your food and to get another order in.
Honestly though, food is so good.

I love the feel of this sunscreen. It's not greasy once it soaks in and doesn't feel like you've got a sunscreen film sitting on top of your skin. It has açai oil and pomegranate extract (anti-oxidants), and Vitamins A, C and E, which help protect skin from free radical damage and help with the visible signs of aging. It's only SPF 15 so you have to reapply if you're out in the sun a lot, but I like it for when I know I am not going to be out much and don't want to feel like I am slathered in sunscreen and going to feel grimy the rest of the day. -

I've gone into this store a few times to check out digital cameras. It's pretty big and the selection is amazing from lower end, digital cameras to the more expensive SLRs. I find most electronic salesmen are not so nice to ladies, and this place was no exception. I had one barely look me in the eye before leading me over to the "easy to use" cameras. He didn't even ask what features I was looking for, just assumed I wanted something no fuss. Another guy started to help me and then abandoned me for a guy he knew. I understand you need to keep regulars happy but how do you expect to make new regulars?
While they have great selection, you can probably find better prices elsewhere. Personally I would rather pay an extra $20 to be treated well. Gives you better piece of mind if something goes wrong and it's nice to be able to ask questions and not be condescended to.

I was sent this lipstick from Joe Fresh along with their summer collection. Grapefruit caught my eye immediately as it's a more yellowy fuchsia, and looked like just the bold lipstick colour I was looking for now that it's sunny. It feels amazing going on and isn't drying at all. My lips tend to get flaky but it kept it's rich texture after an hour or so of wear. I did need to reapply after drinking as it came off on my glass (sorry dishwasher!) and after a while of chatting and the link it did need refreshing. It's definitely one of those lipsticks you can get clown mouth with if you don't check and freshen up, but really, it feels great so reapplying is just fine. -

There's many designer labels like Miu Miu, Proenza Schouler, Vanessa Bruno and also some great vintage finds from unknown designers. Most items are gently worn, though she does get new stuff with the tags on quite often. It's not just clothes but also accessories, former It bags and a great selection of shoes.

This cuticle trimmer works great and is easy to handle and use. I haven't had it that long so not sure how well it will stay sharp over the long haul but right now it trims cuticles clean with minimum tug or pull. Sometimes the really hard dry parts don't come off as easily but I find with those you want to be careful anyhow.
A great tool to have in your manicure kit.
