This callus remover works much better than pumice stones and other products that really just get to the first layer. For tougher calluses you really need something like this that will help get rid of that hard skin that have built up. I am find with getting calluses shaved off at the spa, but am too chicken to do that at home so this is a great product for in the shower between spa visits, especially if you're prone to calluses and want to maintain soft post-pedicure feet. Be sure and moisturize heavily after using to treat the new skin well. -

I have gone to Oskar on Scollard for years now. I was originally sent to him from a beauty editor who couldn't stand looking at my brassy yellow hair any longer. He's known for doing wonders with blondes. I consistently get compliments on my colour and people ask where I go, which still surprises me as I've never been one of those girls who gets hair compliments. Besides that Oskar and his team are really nice! I get my hair cut by Ethan who listens to what you want - I've never left feeling like he cut too much off or gave me bangs I didn't want.
Products they use are Kevin Murphy and Moracconoil.
I am pretty out of touch with what other salons charge, but I have to say this salon is worth every penny. I never have anxiety and always feel great when I leave which is wonderful.

This lotion moisturizes skin in the short term but after a few hours I didn't really feel it there anymore. It's light, so if absorbability is your main concern, then it will make you happy, but if you want something that will keep your body feeling moisturized all day, then I wouldn't recommend. I am not a big fan of the smell either, smells sort of soapy? Like detergent? -

This is a great foot lotion for the summer when you want to keep feet soft and sandal acceptable. I put this on at night before I go to bed so that I don't slip around in my shoes. Have you tried a peppermint foot lotion before? If so, you know they tingle a bit and can make feet feel a bit cool after application. I like the feeling but I know not everyone does. Like other Burt's Bees lotions I've used, it's super thick and nourishing. It'll take a minute to rub it in to your feet and absorb, but really your feet won't complain! This won't take off calluses but it will keep feet soft after you exfoliate them or get them sloughed at a spa pedicure. You don't need a lot either as you're just putting the cream on your feet, so will take you a while to get through the tube. -

This is one of those products that is like no other. It comes out like whipped cream which is pretty cool and it's really not sticky like other mousses, very much a creamy, heavier product. It coats your hair and really seals the shaft so hair looks smoother and feels softer when you blow dry. I have fairly fine hair that is prone to frizz (it's damaged from all the colouring and heat styling I do), but this product disguised split ends and I got a lot of compliments about how soft my hair looked. It also felt thicker though I wouldn't say this is a volumizer, it was more that hair felt healthy and not wispy and thin at the ends.
If you have natural wave like I do, I definitely recommend!

I was a little skeptical about this dryer. I went to the press launch and of course they're going to say it's amazing, but after using it for a few weeks now, I have to say it kind of is. The price is $70, which is really reasonable considering all the bells and whistles, the smart design and performance. First of all bells and whistles: it comes with three nozzle attachments. A diffuser for when you want curls, and then two concentrators (one for thick, course hair that needs a strong stream of air and one that allows air to escape out the sides so the stream isn't as strong and won't create a mess in fine, flyaway-prone hair). Second, the smart design: the settings are easy to reach and the cold air blaster is a button that stays on (no having to hold it down as you try and blow dry at the same time), the filter at the back opens so you can clean easily (do this ladies! it makes your dryer perform better). Thirdly, performance, and this one is the most important. It releases ions onto the hair (this is essential in a blow dryer that targets frizz and makes hair smooth) so it's shinier and the cuticle is smoother; it gets hot fast and when you switch to cold it actually is cold and not just recycled bathroom air that won't seal the shaft, and I really like that it has a strong flow of air for faster drying.
As this is a high performance product you may notice it's heavier than other drugstore blow dryers, but that's just cause it has a good solid engine in it. Still it's not as heavy as the ones I have paid $200 for.

I finally got my hands on these guys just in time for the summer. Honestly, I have three updos in my repertoire: the pony, the bun, and this twist thing where I take two pigtails and wrap them around each other and back around and just pin it messily. With the spin pins my updo changes each time, and I can just mash my hair at the back and keep it in place with the pins, super fast and easy! I wish they had more ideas (or at least some cooler ones) in the box, but I've looked around online and found some cool ideas I can't wait to try. -

This is the best product I have ever used on my hair. I am not exaggerating. The PR for John Frieda told me about it and I have to say I was super skeptical. It's not that I didn't believe it would work, I just didn't think it would work on me. My hair is three textures: fine and wavy on top, fine and curly in the middle and underneath it's course and curly. Not fun. Hairdressers always comment on how deceiving it looks and takes forever to blow dry. I sprayed about ten pumps on my damp hair (my hair is mid-longish) and started with my usual blow-dry routine using a round brush. I could see the difference on that first chunk of hair. I usually have a fair amount of kink at the root that I can never get ride of unless I straight iron right from the scalp, but it was pretty much non existent. My hair looked smoother and with no frizz except the ends of my hair which need trimming (there's always a part that just won't blow dry without a bit of frizz and wave), and was straight. Just a little upturn at the end from the brush I was using. It didn't feel like it was coated in chemicals either, but didn't feel super light like it was going to turn into a million fly-aways in the wind. Finished my hair and barely had to flat iron but I did as the product recommended you do and I didn't want to mess up my hair if it need activating or sealing from the heat, also my ends looked less damaged after flat ironing. My hair stayed straight all day. It was humid and hot out. I repeat, my hair stayed straight and frizz-free all day. The product said that your hair would stay this way for the next three days. Not to be TMI but when I sleep I get sweaty so usually my hair (especially the underpart that is course and curly) waves up again in my sleep. I was prepared to have to straighten it all over again the next morning, but hoping it would be quicker because of the product. I woke up and it was still totally straight. I couldn't believe it! I wash my hair every other day, but can push it three days. I am on day three now, still did not have to straighten this morning. My hair is about the usual level of oily that it would be on day three, so the product doesn't build up and make your hair feel dirty. I really can't believe this product worked so well. I have really problem hair, and so when I find something that works I am astounded. I am astounded now.

If you fill in your brows every day this kit is an excellent value as it will last you a long time. I can go through a softer brow pencil in about two months, but this kit I ended up throwing out (when it got too old) with still plenty of product unused. The brushes work really well, though you need to be diligent about washing them as the wax will make them mucky and effect how well they work. The tweezers are not great, but if you're in to your brows you probably have that covered so would only use them if you're in a pinch (haha, get it?). There are only three shades so might not work for everyone's colouring; I recommend going for a powder that is lighter than your brow as the wax will darken its appearance slightly. -
