This product is amazing.
I have to be honest, before Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer I had never even tried a foundation primer before.
But after hearing so many amazing reviews about this one, I figured it couldn’t hurt to give it a try.
At first I was a bit put off by the price. But trust me, this product is worth every penny.
And on top of that, it lasts for a really long time! I’m no longer concerned about dry skin causing foundation to go on uneven.
After putting on this primer, makeup glides on like silk!
It really gives regular store brand makeup that professional look!
Do yourself a favor and pick this primer up! You won’t regret it!

I didn't have the greatest experience with Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation.
It is true that it goes on easily and covers well.
In fact it's a really handy makeup for application on the go.
But if you already have oily skin, this product becomes an absolute nightmare.
It has no lasting power and caused my skin to break out.
Because of this, I would never buy this product again.
Nor would I recommend it. Makeup that causes breakouts are the worst!

I have very sensitive lips.
They frequently become dry and very itchy depending on what I put on them or even from what I eat.
For example, eating potato chips can cause my lips to be scabby for weeks.
I tried pretty much every lip balm I could find in the pharmacy.
Most products just made it worse, even the “medicated” or “sensitive” kinds. I was at the end of my rope one day at Shoppers Drug Mart and went to speak with the pharmacist.
I was wondering if there was a prescription lip balm.
She showed me Zim’s Crack Crème Lip Formula instead which was actually created by a pharmacist.
I picked up a pack of two.
It was relatively cheap for something sold in the pharmacy section of the store (less than $10 for two).
I opened it up immediately after I left the store and applied the lip formula. The first thing I noticed was that it smelled AMAZING! Just like cherries!
It went on really smoothly over my chapped lips and comforted them immediately.
I continued to use the balm over the next couple of days and my lips became suppler and less irritated with each use.
That was over a year ago. I now use this lip formula every single day and not once have my lips become irritated.
If I want to eat salty food, I just put this on first and then again after.
It leaves a nice shine on your lips too!
If I wear makeup to go out, I put a bit in the center of my lips and then rub my lips together. It looks like, feels like, and is an incredible product.
It’s great for people who suffer from cold sores, chapped lips, and sun and wind burned lips.
I recommend this product to anyone that likes soft, healthy lips :)
*Remember to look in the pharmacy section for this product. It's not with the other lip products!

What an amazing product!
I bought these because I have very oily skin.
I use acne medications and acne creams, but halfway through the workday my forehead, chin, and the sides of my nose tend to get really shiny which can be embarrassing.
I picked these up to try because they were on sale and now I never leave home without a pack in my purse (which is why the pack in the picture looks a bit rough).
It's amazing how much one little blue sheet can soak up.
When you blot your face you'll be surprised by how much oil the sheets soak up. It'll look like you just washed your face!
You can even use these over makeup for a touch up!
And the pack even has a sticky strip on the cover so that it pulls up the individual sheets for you without you have to touch them all to separate them.
Great product! Love it!

This is my favorite store in Toronto!
It's located at 253 Queen Street West.
It's a very hip and trendy shop full of clothes that will make you stand out in a crowd :)
It's a bit on the pricy side but as I'm not from Toronto, I don't mind the splurge if i'm there on vacation :)
You can pick up tons of great fashion pieces, eco-friendly pieces, and lots of other unique items.
It caters to both women and men as well.
The staff are great and so is the decor :)

I've never had the best stress management skills.
I tried just taking a break, going for a walk, drinking tea... EVERYTHING!
It hadn't even occurred to me that maybe something was missing in my diet.
That was until I picked up Life Brand Stress Caplets!
They are a dose of high potency Vitamin B C and also contain zinc, copper and vitamin E.
I take one caplet daily with a meal.
I have definitely noticed a difference in my stress levels since I started taking these vitamins.
It definitely doesn't "cure" my stress. But i'll do anything that helps! And these definitely help! :)

I couldn't possible recommend these CD's more!
Are you tired of listening to the same old lullabies?
Are you looking for something that BOTH you and the baby can enjoy??
These CDs are it!
And they have something for everyone!
Choose from Radiohead (a personal favorite), Nirvana, The Beatles, AC/DC, Bjork, Bob Marley, Black Sabbath, Green Day, Bon Jovi, Madonna, NIN, Pink Floyd, No Doubt... the list goes on!!
I love the Nirvana one myself :)
The music is so pretty and relaxing and the little ones love it! :)

There are three books so far in the Abarat series which is written and illustrated by Clive Barker.
It's a fantasy story aimed at young adults unlike a lot of Barker's work.
The story takes place on the Abarat which is a archipelago consisting of 25 islands. One island for each hour of the day and one extra.
Each of these islands is very different and full of all kinds of imaginative creatures. And not all good ones!
It follows the story of a teenage girl named Candy who runs away only to find herself in this fantastical world.
I recommend this to anyone as it is an amazing story and a visual experience with Barker's illustrations.
It is a bit dark, however, so maybe not for young children.

I'm a bit torn on this lipstain.
At first, I loved it.
Some people mentioned that it dries out your lips, which is true. I expected it to dry out my lips, so that part didn’t faze me.
It’s definitely necessary to use a balm after a lip stain like this.
The applicator is easy to use. It’s like a marker, so you just have to colour your lips!
My problem was that over time it does wear off and when it does it’s not wearing off evenly. It leaves you with a coloured ring around the edges of your lips which looks ridiculous. It’s not easy to get off either! Besides that my only other complaint is that the product dries up quickly, even with proper care.
It’s definitely worth a try though.
I tried it because frankly I was sick of getting lipstick on my teeth.
I might buy it again, I’m not sure. But it’s definitely worth a try :)

I’ve spent a fortune in the past on pressed powders to keep my face from getting shiny.
I’ve tried drug store brands and high end brands as well. So far, this is my favorite!
It goes on smooth and makes my skin very silky.
It also keeps my skin looking great throughout the day without making my skin look cakey like a lot of other brands do.
The best part is that it doesn’t cause breakouts! Even on days where I’m not wearing any other makeup, I wear this pressed powder. I get all kinds of compliments on my skin and no one even knows that I’m wearing makeup, it’s great! I love it! :)
