I received this product for free about two weeks ago as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, and wasn't super impressed at first, but by the end of the two weeks I enjoyed it much more. On first use, I liked the flavour (sort-of sweet and minty) and I liked the lipstick-shape, because the pointed bullet-tip gave it a more precise application than round or flat-top balms. I did find, however, that for the first week I ended up with a grainy feel on my lips a few minutes after application - which did, fortunately, go away after the first week. And although the moisture did seem to last longer after application as time went by, I do still have to reapply more often than I would like (and certainly more often than my favourite $8 balm). For the price, however, it is definitely a good lip balm. By the end of the two weeks, I found that I prefer the cube-shaped balm (after a few days I felt that if I twisted this one up slightly too much it would snap), but I would still recommend this one as being one of the better balms available at drug stores. -

I received this product for free about two weeks ago as part of the ChickAdvior Product Review Club, and I'm glad I gave it the full two weeks before reviewing because I didn't really think it was that great at first, but it has become one of my go-to lip balms. At first I thought I preferred both the lipstick-shaped version and mint flavour, but I quickly found myself reaching for the sweetness of the berry bliss and enjoying the cube shape more and more. I like that it covers much more area, so it takes less time to cover, and with the frequency I found myself having to re-apply that became an asset. My initial complaints were that shortly after application my lips felt grainy, and, as aforementioned, I found it wore off quite quickly. Over the course of the two weeks, the grainy feeling did go away and I found that the moisture did last slightly longer after application (however, still not as long as I would have liked). On the whole, this isn't my favourite lip balm, but it probably is my favourite lip balm in its price point. I would recommend it as the best lip balm currently available in drug stores. -

I love these vitamins. They taste like gummy bears, which makes it easy to stick to taking them (the problem I've had with every vitamin tablet in the past). The only downside is that it's hard to not not eat more! I'm on my second bottle from Costco, and despite the giant size, the last gummy was still soft. Love these! -

This is the only liner I've ever used that actually lives up to the stay-put name. It dries quickly and does not budge or smudge - which is great unless you actually want a soft, smudged out look. I usually blend eyeshadow over it to make the line less harsh unless I'm going for a dramatic cat-eye. And having a sharp felt-tip it can get really close to the lash line; I like to dot it between lashes or do a really thin, tight line for a more natural look. It requires a light hand to apply, and the only real downside is that dries so quickly you can't correct it without removing it (and half your eyeshadow with it). However, for such a long-wearing liner it does come off really easily with a gentle make-up remover. -

This is one of my favourite mascaras. I was so sad when Sephora stopped carrying it, and so happy to find it's still available at Shoppers Drug Mart. It's a tubing mascara, so it doesn't smudge and washes off with any facial cleanser and warm water. I find it lengthening but not super volumizing, so if I'm looking for a false lash effect I layer it over Dior primer and Diorshow mascara. I don't find it "curls," but it does hold a curl in place like no other. This is the first mascara that I've found that can actually keep my short, straight lashes curled for 12 hours. It's also more affordable than the other truly great mascaras out there. -

I had given up trying to make foundation look good on my dry, extra-sensitive skin until I got a sample of this product; it was love at first sight! It's thicker than I expected - definitely more of a foundation than a "tint" - and it doesn't dry me out, make me itch or peel, cling to dry patches or emphasize lines. My skin has literally never looked better. You can get within centimeters of the mirror and not tell you're wearing make-up. The colour Ivory is a perfect match for my fair skin tone too. I wish it was more affordable, but the look it produces is so worth it! -

I'm a big fan of this serum. The smell is pretty strong (orange), but it's one that I like so I'm not complaining. I've only been using it for a month but I'm already seeing a difference. I want to say my skin seems "brighter" - not lighter in tone, but like it's glowing. I use it under moisturizer in the morning and it seems to work great under makeup. The fine lines on my forehead that I was starting to develop are also less noticeable. It's also one of the few serums that doesn't sting my extra-sensitive skin. Even though the price is pretty frightening, I'll definitely be repurchasing. -

At one point in my life, the Clinique 3-step was my go-to skincare, but it's just not enough any more and with Sephora moving into Canada, great skincare is so much more readily available. I still love the Clarifying Lotion (I use #2), but not the soap or Dramatically Different. The soap (I prefer the bar to the liquid) is fairly gentle for sensitive skin; it's not bad, but Philosophy's Purity Made Simple is better. I don't know if they changed the moisturizer formula or my skin changed, but it just doesn't work for me like it used to - even the "plus" one seems to be ok at first but by the end of the day I'm dry and itchy. There are better systems out there. -

I discovered FAB when the Ultra Repair was recommended to me for my very dry, sensitive skin with severe eczema. It saved my sanity! I was so red and itchy, and this helped almost immediately. Unlike almost every moisturizer at the time, it sunk into my skin and moisture lasted all day. It stings at first when it contacts active eczema patches (I'm told this is due to the eucalyptus oil) but it passes pretty quickly - and relief! Twice I have run out and tried to use up an old Clinique moisturizer, and it has been less than 2 days before I'm rushing back to Sephora to make the itching on my face stop. Now I stock up so I'll never run out again. This cream is as close as a beauty product can get to being a life saver! -

This is my holy grail cleanser. I've tried others and always seem to go back to Purity. Honestly, I don't know why I even bother trying others any more, because they're never as good. I like that it's super gentle, since I have sensitive skin, and can be used on the eyes so most of the time you don't need a separate makeup remover (others that say they do the same rarely remove it all). It's great with the Clarisonic too. Doesn't leave any kind of residue or feel like you're stripping the skin. I wish it was less expensive, but that isn't going to stop me from buying this again and again. -
