So this mascara wasn't my favorite starting off. But after using it everyday, and learning how to use it correctly I have to say it has become one of my favorite mascara's.
Packaging:
- It's a really cute purple color though I found that the mascara was a little big and sometimes found it hard to lug around.
The Brush:
- So at first I didn't really get how to use the brush this it was pretty flexible and wide. This resulted in clumpy lashes and not such a great look. Once I learnt how to use the brush properly (You use the side that swoops in on your lashes) It separated my eyelashes a lot more. There was still some clumping but the same amount you would find in other mascaras. The brush was pretty big which I loved for the middle eyelashes, but not so much near the ends of my eyes.
Mascara as a whole:
- So i've seen the advertisement regarding this product and unfortunately you don't end up with that dramatic look they show on the models. I feel that it won't replace fake eyelashes for me, but is definitely a mascara that I might use if I want a slightly bold look but not something over the top. I really liked the flexibility it gave me intensity, since 1 coat allowed me to wear it during the day while 2-3 coats gave me a drastic look for the night.
So I guess in conclusion would I buy it again? --> Yes
Can it replace fake eyelashes? --> not so much
It does give an intense look none the less!

I just bought this product recently and I absolutely love it! It's a little on the stronger end. If you've used any of the other products in the tea tree oil line you'll know the distinct smell of it. Well for the mask the smell is about 3x greater. I don't mind though since I've come to really like the smell. It makes me feel very fresh. The mask is grey-ish green in color. You apply it on your face in a thin layer (which makes this mask last forever! I got a sample to begin with and it lasted me 6 uses) and to leave it for 5-10 minutes. It's not supposed to dry up like a usual face mask does, so they say not to go over 10 minutes! You're supposed to put the mask on once or twice a week. I usually put it on twice a week (I try to at least- once on Wednesday and then on Sunday). When you put the mask on, besides the huge rush of smell, you feel an instant cooling sensation. Sometimes i tend to feel a tiny bit of a burn but I figure that's most probably because like the other products in the line, it's meant for acne prone skin. The burn is minuscule compared to the burn I usually get when I apply any over the counter acne medication (ex: I use clean and clear spot treatment). After 7-8 minutes I usually wash it off and for a good hour I feel my face being very cool which feels really great and refreshing (especially in the summer time). I do notice that it reduces the size of some of my pimples, and I feel that it speeds up the reduction of blemishes when I use it hand in hand with the other products in the line. Overall I think it's an amazing product :D and definitely an affordable one considering the long time it lasts. -

I've had acne ever since my teenage years and I tried more of the common products (like clean and clear and neutrogena) before I decided to invest the money for proactive. For the first two weeks, my skin was the clearest it had ever been! I was so excited that I had finally found something that would work on my skin. Unfortunately that bubble was quickly broken when I started getting these big painful pimples instead of the tiny ones I usually got. I immediately stopped and haven't looked back since.
So to go through the products one by one since they weren't all as bad:
1. Renewing cleanser: I love exfoliating my skin which is why I really liked this cleanser. My skin felt pretty clean after. It didn't really do anything for me results wise. I switched back to using clean and clear because i felt it was a better exfoliant. The cleanser was white in color with brown beads (the exfoliate). Since it has benzyl peroxide in it, it did smell pretty bad.
2. Revitalizing toner: The toner I felt wasn't strong enough. I usually use clean and clear deep cleaning astringent and in comparison to it I felt it didn't clean deeply enough. It was I feel more directed towards sensitive skin as it was very cooling. It was a light blue color and had the consistency of water like the rest of the toners.
3. Reparing lotion: It was a white cream that wasn't too moisturizing. I have combination skin so I felt it left some areas of my face quite dry. It also smelled really bad!
4. Refining mask (I got this free as a gift since it was the first time I was buying proactive): This was my absolute favorite item that I received and I would buy it again alone. The mask really worked wonders! It, like the other products had a funky smell but because the results were so great I didn't mind. I usually didn't wear it as a full mask because I wanted to make it lats. So I just used it as spot treatment. I usually put it on at night and then wash it off once it was dry. The very next morning I noticed that it was well on it's way to disappearing. It is a thick white creamy material that I coated over my problem areas. They tell you to wait until it dries (which usually takes about 5-10 minutes). I usually don't wait longer than 10 minutes to wash it off.

I bought this gel because my skin tends to act out at random times and I was hoping to find a gel to control it. For starters I hated the size of it as I really wish it was a little bigger for the $11 I am paying. It is a slightly grey-ish looking gel that has a bit of a smell. I didn't think it was too strong though, since some of the other gels i've used have been worse. I apply it twice a day which I feel results in me going through the tube fairly quickly. It does work well though, since overnight I can usually see several pimples have gone down while others have completely dissapeared. The best part about this gel was the fact that it reduced my pimples (the ones that really hurt to touch or even hurt while you're moving that part of the face! I HATE those!) over a span of a day or two versus the usual week it took without the gel. So as much as I loved the results of this gel, I definitely did not feel that it was worth that much money. The cap is practically half the size of the tube, which makes it look bigger than it actually is. Something that I absolutely did not like was the fact that it peels! Especially during the summer when you wear it during the day, you can't put any moisturizer over it and it's hard to put on makeup over it also. I usually go sans makeup the day i'm break out to allow the medicine to do it's thing. I've noticed though that the gel works almost as effectively if you put it on top of a moisturizer! This is what i started doing near the end of the tube because I have the typical T-zone combination skin and it's important for me to moisturize otherwise I tend to breakout even more. So as a summary:
Pros: got rid of my pimples quickly before they had time to leave scars, smell was not as strong as some of the other products I've used. Works as effectively over the moisturizer unlike some other gels i've used.
Cons: the size is I feel way too small for the $11 they charge, It tends to peel which makes me look like my skin is peeling in public (not a very pretty sight!), can't wear makeup on top of it during the day

I've had dandruff since I was 12 I think and I used Head and Shoulders since the other members of my family used it and it seemed to be the most effective shampoo. But over the years of using Head and shoulders I started noticing that I lost a lot of hair. It was then that someone told me about the Body Shop's ginger shampoo. The bottle was a little pricey in comparison to how much I usually paid for a bottle of any type of shampoo even when I bought the bottle in sale. I have to say though that the money I pay, though a little extra, is definitely worth it.
I usually wash my hair twice, once using a tiny amount to get rid of the initial oil and the second time to really lather it in. It lathers up really well and has a great ginger smell that immediately wakes me up. It does tend to leave my hair a tiny bit dry, but then again every dandruff shampoo i've done tends to do that a little. My flakes have definitely decreased since my using the shampoo. My scalp feels a lot better and the itching has immensely decreased. My hair's gotten stronger also, as I see less hair falling out when i'm in the shower now. All in all a great buy if you have a dry or itchy scalp :D

I used to use Clean and Clear morning burst scrubs along with the rest of their line of face scrubs. Once I tried the Tea tree night cream and day cream I decided to try their face wash too. In terms of price, it ended up coming around the same price on sale (I got my face wash for $8) except there was a greater quantity in the tea tree face wash. It's light green in color and has the distinct strong smell of Tea tree oil which i've started liking the more I use it. It lathers up on my face really well. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of exfoliating I was getting. I fixed that though by just buying a loofa and cutting it into a small square that I use to exfoliate my skin.
As for the affects on my skin. It really cleans up any makeup I have on and leaves my skin feeling slightly tingly and very fresh. It doesn't over dry my skin to much which some of the other face washes tend to do. It also doesn't over moisturize creating the perfect balance. Alone I don't feel it does the greatest job in eliminating blemishes, but in combination with the Tea tree night cream and day cream, it does wonders! I use it three times a day (I hate it when my skin gets oily so I wash it more than most people will) which is why I love that it doesn't over dry my skin. Once again, like any of the other Body Shop products, it's best just to wait around for a sale to come (which doesn't take too long) and then buy the products! :)

To say I am in love with this cream would be a huge understatement. Once I was in University, the stress of tests and so on started breaking me out in a whole new area: my cheeks. These pimples were especially bad because for the first time I had really dark and bad scarring. I started taking my homeopathic medicine for acne again but by that time it was too late to stop the scarring. It was then I came across the Body Shop Tea Tree line. I bought their entire line over boxing day which included the day cream, the night cream and their face wash. They say that if you use all of the products it builds on the intensity of the Tea Tree oil and quickens the pace at which the blemishes dissapear.
I really like the cream because it's not too oily or too dry. I usually use two pumps for my entire face, and another pump for my neck. It has a really nice pleasant smell that immediately relaxes me the minute I smell it.
Don't get me wrong, it's not a miracle cream. I still have some blemishes that are resisting, but this cream has definitely lightened and reduced them in size. Being a student and not being able to do a job because of studies, the price was what attracts me the most. It is the Body Shop's cheapest line, and if you wait, they usually have a sale that they do for their skin care line. For example at the moment they have a buy 3 get 2 free promo going. If you have the Love you Body card (which you get free on your birthday :D) you get an additional 10% off! So that resulted in me getting my night cream for $9.

I naturally have long lashes, but my problem area was was in my left eye. I had somewhat of a tiny gap in between my eyelashes in my left eye that I could see every time I was applying mascara. I tried a few natural methods like using moisturizing oils and so on in vain. So when the add for the lash boosting serum came out I was really intrigued. I usually don't like using chemicals but after reading a few reviews online and a few reviews on youtube I decided to invest in it. The initial price for the eye lash serum in walmart was 14$ which I found a little pricey so I waited around until the price came down to $10. I didn't notice too great of a change in the first 2 weeks but I wasn't discouraged because the site tells you that you should be diligent with the applications. So I applied it twice a day. First applying it on the top of my lash line as I would eyeliner and then applying it like mascara. The wand was really soft and flexible, but curved like a normal mascara wand would be. The serum was a tad oily in the beginning but after 5 minutes it virtually disappeared. I was able to put mascara and eye liner on top of it during the day. I just completed my fourth week and I have to say that for $10 it's a GREAT buy. I'm absolutely in LOVE with it and i've even got my mom hooked on it. My left eye is finally a lot fuller and even without mascara I can see my eyelashes are a lot thicker which i'm absolutely loving it! the greatest thing about it is even after 4 weeks my eye serum is still going and i'm hoping it'll last me for another month! or at least another 2 weeks! -
