I recently started using this facial cleanser and so far I'm a fan. Being pregnant, there are a lot of different ingredients within skincare products you're supposed to avoid and it was giving me head spins trying to figure out what I could definitely actually use which led me to looking at really gentle brands like Cetaphil and CeraVe. Life Brand is Shoppers Drug Mart's dupe version of these and I've been really happy with it. It has quite a soft, milky texture that gently cleanses your skin and doesn't cause any irritation. I'm really happy with the results so far. -

I'm a sucker for shampoos that leave your hair smelling really good and often its a choice of either a decent working shampoo or a nice smelling one but for me this one is actually both yay! It hydrates your hair and it also leaves it feeling silky. The scent is like a vanilla-y coconut. Usually I despise the smell of coconut because it just smells like I'm soaked in fake tan but this shampoo doesnt give me fake tan smelling vibes at all. I've repurchased it over and over and love how it makes my (super thick) hair feel. Please never discontinue it! -

I was previously using a foundation by Max Factor and that brand just doesnt seem to exist in Canada anymore so I reluctantly had to go on the hunt for a new foundation (I get nervous having to commit to a whole bottle of foundation only to find out after the first few uses that it doesnt work for me). After doing endless online research I decided to give Maybelline Fit Me a try. When I went in store to buy it I was initially surprised at how small the bottle was but figured that's why it's priced so cheaply, but as time has gone on using it, the bottle has actually lasted a really long time. I've had the bottle for months and it's nowhere near empty. The coverage is buildable so it's super versatile and the shade matches my skin tone perfectly. My shade in Nars foundation is Mont Blanc, and the 115 Ivory shade is perfect for me. I'm really happy with this foundation and will definitely keep repurchasing. -

I ran out of my non waterproof Garnier micellar water and the store didnt have any in stock - only this waterproof one. I had no idea what the difference was going to be so I decided to purchase it anyway. I dont personally use waterproof makeup and so I'm not really the best judge of this product but I was really shocked the first time I used it because it was really really oily. It was so oily that it left a layer of oily film over my eyes and I had blurry vision for 15 minutes afterwards. Some people may prefer this version but I definitely dont. I went to a different store to buy another bottle of the non waterproof version. I'm also trying to finish up my bottle of this one but I find my foundation doesnt want to sit on my face after I have used this one due to the oiliness and so I only use it at night before bed. I absolutely love the non waterproof version, but I wont repurchase this one again. -

Before micellar water was really a thing, I learned of its existence through a makeup artist that came into my work and raved about Bioderma micellar water. Apparently it was what all the makeup artists were using on models to avoid causing any redness or skin reactions before a photoshoot. It wasnt widely available at the time and was super expensive but I started buying it religiously. I'm really glad that Garnier now make micellar water for a much more affordable price. It does the exact same job as the expensive brands and is super gentle on your skin. I use it every day to remove my eye makeup and love that its a water rather than an oil because oils seem to leave a layer of film over my eyes and make my vision blurry afterwards. I've repurchased this many many times and now that I've moved from Australia to Canada I'm trying to track down the jumbo size of it again... I havent been able to find it here yet -
