When I was younger I tried it and I actually really enjoyed, but I assume they changed their recipe through the years. Also as is universal with KD, it feeds around 2 people now rather than how it used to feed 4 growing up. But again, that's how the times have changed.
Noodles are usual, prep is usual, but the taste is very bland. Maybe I just appreciate stronger cheddar? But I remember it being at least a BIT better than this. It was in stores about maybe 10 years ago, then KD flavours disappeared from Canada again, and now it's back but it's not near as good. It tastes extremely artificial.. I mean what can I expect... But it really disappointed me when I was expecting something I'd at least enjoy as a once-in-a-while thing.
But again, I don't have KD too often. I really enjoy the Sharp Cheddar above all flavours though but that isn't available to review here. If you want a stronger flavour. Try that.

I haven't had a TV dinner in a while and not having much time to cook with class left me with a small amount of groceries that actually got used. I lived far from a grocery store so I'd occasionally pick this up for emergencies. I want to say that... +

I want to say that it doesn't taste like a TV dinner--as I'd call meals like this. The veggies aren't soggy and don't taste gross. I'm not a fan of water chestnut but it tastes fine in this. Above all, the chicken doesn't taste artificial and gross like other frozen meals.
It's a little on the pricier side but this is the one frozen meal I like to keep stocked for emergencies. Some say it's a smaller portion size but I don't eat too much to be full in the first place and it's a nice size for what I personally eat in a day. A bit high in sodium but most frozen foods and pre-made asian dishes are.
A big deal to me is the ratio of rice to actual food. I love rice but don't like to eat too much as it's not too filling. When I go out for food, they pack on the rice but this has a perfect amount.
