After Eight's are a tradition in my household, every December we purchase several boxes of these delicious little mint patties and we have a couple every night! They are very strongly mint flavored, but not in an overpowering or unpleasant way. The dark chocolate cover provides a good base and evens out the minty filling! -

If I could describe my feelings on this liquid lipstick in one word it would be "ugh". I found this product to be extremely thick, sticky and unflattering. The gloss looked like I had slathered honey on my lips, and all the colours reminded me of barbie playtime makeup I used to use as a kid. I bought 3 colours and didn't end up liking any of them. If that wasn't bad enough, a month later the product had separated and spilled in my makeup drawer. For $3.99 I thought it was a steal, but this product isn't even worth that much in my opinion. It honestly just looks like childrens makeup to me. -

If you like the soda called "Ginger beer" (not an actual beer, mind you) you'd probably love this. However, I was hoping it'd be more classic Pepsi flavor with a small amount of ginger. That is NOT the case with this item, ai. There is SO MUCH GINGER in this soda, but it's not even a pleasant ginger. It tastes like 90% ginger, 10% Pepsi. Not pleasant, not a fan. No one in my household likes it, which is a shame because we bought a whole 12 pack of it! So if you like the strong ginger beer flavor, you'd probably like this - however, it wasn't a win for me. -

I bought this product for $8.99, I paid a bit more for it since I assumed it would be built with a more durable quality. With the brand "National Geographic" you'd expect a solid product, since the brand is so well known for their quality magazines. I just recently adopted two five month old kittens and was recommended a "teaser toy" in order to help them build trust with me.
Within two hours my two kittens had already torn more than half the feathers out of it, causing a choking hazard. I had to keep a close eye on them when they played with it. I considered returning it but the store I bought it from (PetSmart) has a horrible return policy - so I was forced to keep this dangerous toy in my home!
A few short hours after that my kittens had torn the owl plushy portion right off the string, thus making the toy absolutely useless. I had to throw it out immediately. For the price I paid I expected at least a few weeks of play, not a few hours. Absolutely disgusted with the quality - I don't think it should even be sold! If i could give it minus stars, I would.

I stumbled across this brand while browsing Etsy and then started following them on Instagram. Country Market Crafts is run by a woman named Stephanie Thain, along with the help and support of her husband. Stephanie has an absolutely empowering story behind the creation of Country Market Crafts and I recommend you check it out on her Etsy profile.
Her prices are incredibly competitive and reasonable and that’s what drew me in originally. She also had a New Years coupon code that would save 10% off your purchase so I took the plunge and purchased a wide range of her products to test out and review. She runs sales every few weeks from what I’ve seen, but her products are definitely worth their regular prices!
Stephanie responded quickly and was incredibly lovely to chat with. Overall she made me feel really confident about my purchase by answering all my questions and addressing any concerns. I asked her what products she would recommend I try to get a good impression of her product collections and together we curated a box of ten products. She has a couple more products I have yet to try, but if/when I do I will be sure to post reviews about those as well!
I made my purchase on January 1st and it was shipped out on the 3rd. I received the box three days later on the 6th. Shipping was $13.50 which I found a bit expensive, since Orangeville (where Country Market Crafts is located) is only a 30-45 minute drive from my house and I don’t believe the package was shipped via eXpress. Next time I’d probably make the decision to pick up my order instead of have it shipped. But on the plus side, I was not charged any taxes.
Overall, I’d give Country Market Crafts a 4.5/5. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was how expensive the shipping was! The customer service is personalized, friendly and timely. Stephanie was very accommodating with my custom request and her prices are very reasonable. Her products are free of parabens, cruelty free and vegan! If you’re into brands such as LUSH, I’d absolutely suggest you check out Country Market Crafts. I love supporting home businesses and this one was no exception.

I was a bit hesitant to try this product because of the shimmer in it (when pumped, it has a pinkish golden sheen to it) but I was pleasantly surprised when I applied the lotion and the shimmer turned into a nice and natural healthy skinned glow.
This product left my skin looking a bit greasy, but that's nothing a compact powder couldn't fix. Overall it was a wonderful product and it left my skin looking and feeling fantastic. No breakouts, no irritation to my sensitive skin and no weird smell. It actually has a very nice light floral fragrance.
I'd recommend it if you have the money, It's definitely worth the splurge!

I received this product for free through the "Chick Advisor Product Review Club". Before testing this product I never thought "high end" facial creams were worth it. I always thought they were overpriced and any drug store option would've been just as good for a significant price reduction - boy was I wrong.
In only one usage, my skin was softer and smoother. The application is quite greasy, but if you apply it after your regular skin care routine at night and sleep with the product on your face, it'll soak in by the time you wake up. After using the product for a week my skin was significantly softer and best of all - I had no breakouts!
Furthermore, my sensitive skin wasn't bothered by this product at all. Which is surprising because my skin tends to get inflamed by a lot of products.
Overall, I LOVE this lotion. Will I buy it again after I run out? Probably not for $52, but if it went on sale then probably!

I LOVE the packaging of these products, it’s very sleek which means it fits on the ledge of my shower perfectly, and the colour is very pretty. These are bottles I don’t mind leaving out on the bathroom counter because they look nice. This set made my hair look and feel thicker than normal. I already have thick hair, but this set made it feel much more voluminous. My hair was also shinier than usual, and the fragrance stuck around for about 12 hours after I washed it. The scent is a mix between fresh and floral, while it is very heavily fragranced I enjoyed that aspect. I found I needed to wash my hair every 3 days with this set in order to maintain the volume and cleanliness in my hair. -

FORMULATION: The visibly smooth balms are much thinner, and more moisturizing. I find them to be a lot less waxy than the original line - but that was one thing I actually liked about the regular EOS balms so it's a bit of a toss up for me on which line I like better. There isn't a The visibly smooth line feels a bit more like melted butter (but less greasy) on the lips.
PACKAGING: There's only two types out so far, and they are Vanilla Mint and Coconut Milk. The easiest way to tell the difference between the two lines of EOS balms is that the original balms are one solid colour, while the visibly smooth ones are one main colour with small stripes of an accenting colour. The Vanilla Mint balm is a light blue with pale blue (almost white) stripes, and the Coconut Milk is light pink with pale pink stripes.
SCENT: The Vanilla Mint one is very much like the original line "sweet mint" (the blue-green coloured one), but much less minty. The Coconut Milk smells sort of like coconut cream pie, minus all the sugar. It's a very nice scent, but the Vanilla Mint is definitely my favorite.
Overall, I really like these balms and if you like the original line, I think you will also enjoy the new visibly soft line! I hope they come out with more scents in the future, because I really enjoy this line of EOS balms.

I was so excited to try this beverage after hearing it was 0 calories, 0 sugar, etc. The range of interesting flavors had me curious (Lemon-Lime, Cherry, Ginger Root Beer) and I picked 6 cans up at my local Bulk Barn. For $0.99 a can, I figured it was worth a shot to see if I could find a soda that wasn't bad for me.
Big mistake. These sodas are disgusting. All the flavors I tried were equally as disgusting. There were no "saving graces" in this set. I've done a deeper review below on each flavor. But generally, they leave a weird taste in your mouth (much like a diet soda would, but this is worse) and for the lack of nutrition in these cans, I don't think it's worth it. I'll be sticking with my fruit juices or water additives.
So the flavors I've tried:
Cola - Tastes like your generic diet-pepsi or diet-coke, maybe more watered down. Really strong weird flavor in mouth.
Ginger Root Beer - VERY gingery. But oddly enough still watered down. Not much of a root beer aspect.
Lemon Lime - Tasted okay at first, but once that "odd feeling" gets in your mouth, it all goes downhill. Not bad, but not good.
Ginger Ale - Probably the "best" of the ones I tried. But it tasted like a normal ginger ale, with a bunch of water in it.
Over all, not worth the money, not worth the time. But if you already like diet sodas, they might be worth a shot.
