No matter what new make-up remover/cleansing products come out, I always keep this in my arsenal. I have combo-dehydrated, sensitive, and acne-prone skin. No matter if I use this in the winter when my skin is drier, or during the summer when my skin is pretty oily, this product always leaves my skin feeling clean, smooth and well hydrated.
Because of my sensitive, acne-prone skin, I don't like keeping cleansing products on my face for very long, but I don't worry when using this, and it doesn't break me out. The longer I leave this on my face (usually 8-10 minutes), the easier it is to remove my make-up, and it does an amazing job. This cold cream cleans my make-up off just as well as double cleansing with oil+cleanser. After I use this product, I just swipe on some toner then I'm good to go.
A little definitely goes a long way with this product, and I love the price point for the amount you get. This will not break the bank, and it works!
I would recommend this to anyone! :)

One of the downfalls of this product, as with many similar products of its kind, these are loaded with sugar. So health conscious people beware.
There are many greater and healthier options out there, but for the convenience and price, it's still nice to have around as a once in a while snack.

The spaces between my teeth are tight and it was always a fight flossing my teeth with the loose floss, and to have to jam my hand in my mouth to do it...I preferred not to floss as often as I should of. Until I found these little babies. Now I don't mind flossing that much.
The floss glides between my teeth, though because it is so thick it can get caught in any sharp areas and fray. This is not any worst than regular flos's though. The handle allows me to reach between my back molars without having to jam my fist in my mouth, which is great.
All in all a great product that does what it needs to as painless as possible for someone who is not a fan of flossing.

A great, long-lasting liquid eye liner. I have hooded eyes and oily eyelids therefore many eye liners leave me with raccoon eyes after a few hours, but this liner sets quickly and lasts most of the day (12+ hours) with little need for touch-up. If set with a little bit of eye shadow, it lasts even longer without smudging off, which is great for evenings out.
The soft pen tip gives good control so you can make the line as thick or thin as you desire, and the liner flows out nicely making for clean lines. The price point of this item is definitely on the pricey side, but personally I find it a good investment for what I get out of it. I also find that it does not dry out as quickly as other higher priced liners I've tried.
Quick Recap
PROS:
• long-lasting
• sets quickly
• clean lines
• does not dry out quickly
CONS:
• not budget friendly/expensive

The FaceShop Charcoal Cleansing Foam is a part of The FaceShop's Phyto Powder in Cleansing Foam line. It produces a deep-cleansing foam that removes excess sebum (oil secretions) and impurities from the skin.
The product comes out an opaque grey lotion-like consistency, with small balls of charcoal powder that dissolve in water, and works into a light white foam. There is a light (charcoal) powdery smell, though not like baby powder.
From when I first hit puberty to early adulthood I had extremely oily combination skin with severe acne (which progressed to cystic adult acne) that left my face sensitive to touch. I currently have normal-combination skin (normal skin with slightly oily t-zone, and small dry patches mostly around my mouth and nose) and mild adult acne. After trying out a multitude of different cleansers (20+) this cleanser was part of why my skin got better, and it has become a staple product in my daily skin care routine. I use it both in the morning and at night, and it always leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean without feeling dry and tight. It is not the most moisturizing product, so for those with extremely dry skin or are looking for a very moisturizing cleanser, you won't find it with this product. If you're looking for a nice, gentle foaming cleanser that doesn't overly dry out or stimulates the skin, then this is a great product.
The cleanser does list parabens and fragrance in its ingredients.
This product also works great for those who like to double cleanse. I usually use an oil cleanser to break down my makeup first, and then I use this cleanser to wash away any oily residue and left-over makeup. When I started using this cleanser as my second cleanse at night, I noticed that when I wiped my face down with a cotton pad and toner, there was little to no residual makeup. This is very important to me as I am prone to breakouts if my face isn't cleansed properly at night.
I got this cleanser for $9 at my local The FaceShop store, which is on the higher end in price for a basic cleanser, but you get a lot of product, and a little bit goes a long way. You only need a pea size amount to get a nice lather. I have been using this product everyday (2-3 times a day) for the last 8 months and I still have 1/3 of the tube left which should still last me at least another 4 months. Compared to the drugstore cleansers I've used in the past, which can run $4-8 and can last me 6-8 months, this is decently priced.
So to recap.
PROS:
• gentle foaming cleanser (great for sensitive skin)
• deep-cleaning & good to remove residual makeup
• light scent
• decent price (for what you get)
• helped me control my oily, acne-prone skin
CONS:
• parabens and fragrance listed in ingredients

I have long, thick, straight hair, that frizzes after I wash my hair (I had my hair permed in high school and I still suffer the consequences to this day). This product does what the name says: it smooths out the frizz, and adds shine to my hair. It comes out as a clear runny oil, with a fruity smell that isn't too strong but does linger for most of the day. The label recommends using one pump but you can use more if desired. In my opinion this product definitely falls with those where a little bit goes a long way. Due to its oily consistency, you have to be careful how much you use because it means the difference between having hair that looks shiny and smooth, and hair that looks greasy. I've used this product both on dry and damp hair, and it does seem like it causes slight build-up on the hair.
My favourite time to use this product is after washing my hair. With my hair still slightly damp, I take one pump of this product, spread it to both palms, and then work it from the end of my hair to the root, one hand on the inner side of my hair and the other hand on the outer side of my hair. I also leave my hair to air dry. This method I find works best for me, as I end up having hair that shines under the sun, smells nice, and feels so soft all day.
There are definitely better products out there, but for the price of $4 CAD (much less when it's on sale and/or if there is a coupon, which happens quite often), I totally recommend this product for those on a budget.
Review Recap
