I bought this on a whim at Sephora. I was looking for a better foundation than the one I currently use - It just dulls my skin, and instead stumbled upon this and the packaging just got me for some reason. It was a little steep at $40, but nowhere near the top end for Sephora pricing. I love that it has SPF 30 (hello, pale skin here) and the name was cute (Tickle the Ivory). I have been trying to go more natural with my foundation, but still get some coverage. I found that blending it with a few drops of my current foundation makes for a perfect mix! It gives me an all over glow, and leaves my skin looking natural, dewy and lovely overall. -

I bought a little three pack of these in a Christmas Trio pack for my mom as a stocking stuffer this past Christmas and she absolutely loves them. Typically she wears a lipstick every now and then, or lip chap occasionally but never a gloss. She uses a light pink gloss that came in this pack nearly every time she goes out. I haven't tried them myself, but considering A) how incredibly cheap they were and B) that they converted my mother -- Totally worth the buy! -

I bought this on a whim - damn you impulse aisle at Shopper's!- but I'm pretty happy I did. I'm trying to graduate from lip glosses to matte looks, like this type of balm and lipstick. I have a hard time wearing colour though, as I'm very pale and I feel clownish or too vampy if I get something too vivid (and a lot looks vivid on pale skin). I love the buildable colour in this balm. You can put just a touch of colour or layer it on for a bold lip. It feels really lovely, although if you have dry lips, you will see it with this. I love the colour I got, as it's a soft rose and doesn't overwhelm my complexion. -

Essence is an extremely affordable drug store brand. It's rare if any of their products are over $5. And yet the quality is pretty on par with say, a Cover Girl product. I accidentally went a shade darker than I should have, not expecting the product to be so pigmented, but once I pick up a bit of colour in the summer, it should work excellent! As others have said, I paid $2.99 for it. Cannot complain about that! -

I have such pale skin (my background is Dutch and British, haha) that typically I look ill with no blush, but most blushes are WAY too bright and concentrated on my skin. I love the CG Cheekers blush because it's so subtle and buildable. I can see it layering and get exactly how much colour I want before it looks clownish. I bought it on amazon during a CG sale, and it was something like $2, but in store it's more - still a good value. Pale girls; this is your blush. -

I received a single charcoal nose strip for free to sample. My honest reaction is very "meh". I would stick to the original Biore nose strip if I wanted to unclog my pores. This seemed less effective than anything, and somewhat harder to remove. My eyes definitely watered. For the money, just get the Original (OG Biore!). -

I received this product (as well as a single Biore charcoal blackhead strip) as a free sample. I'm still undecided as to how I feel. I think charcoal is the new "it" product in trend right now. It's massively hyped as a skin care/acne product, and I'm not sure it lives up to the hype. I like the bar because it leaves my skin feeling "squeaky clean", and I do enjoy the exfoliation effect of the bar -- but as for acne care? Meh. No noticeable improvement yet. I've used it for about 3 weeks (it is a pretty generous mini-soap bar). -

I bought this cleanser on a whim -- I had been hearing all of this charcoal hype, and I have been struggling for years with my cystic acne. I am forever buying the new "it" product for acne cleansing it seems. While I did like the price of the Biore Charcoal cleanser, and I really liked the sort of menthol tingle and squeaky clean feel of my face after -- I noticed no real change in my acne. It was a good every day cleanser, but no "miracle" product. -

I have looked at Gosh Cosmetics products so many times and ended up putting them down because I always questioned the quality of the product. I don't know why, I just thought that because the prices were pretty reasonable for a line that wasn't in the general drugstore makeup aisle, it must be lesser quality than say a Smashbox or Stila product. I really love my foundation primer. I originally started with Smashbox primers, and tried a lot of high end ones. I just can't justify the prices. They are crazy. So I finally ended up buying a GOSH velvet touch primer about two weeks ago -- Seriously, the quality is on par with Smashbox Photo Finish Primer for me, it works wonderfully. And for the price, that's awesome! -

I LOVE Lush products. The bath bombs are amazing, and the different hair care products are superhero products. They are so out there and original, and vastly different than the other "scent" stores out there. I love the ethics of the brand as well. But I generally prefer to order online or by catalogue because I'm another one of those people that get overwhelmed by all the smells. Nothing against the store, that's what they do, I just can't handle it all at once. Which makes me sad. I'd love to be able to wander around the store and see everything. -
