Wow - reading the huge mixed reviews on here; seems like you either love it or hate it. It's weird that it works so well for some and not at all for others. I bought this just to try, because I always want to invest in a gel starter set, but I always cheap out. I used it on my toesies only, and honestly, it lasted forever. Weeks before I saw and chipping, and I finally had to use remover to get it off, only because I wanted to change the colour. I will say I found it pricey for a Sally Hansen product - I get that it is supposed to be a gel-type and they can be, but I winced a little buying it. -

Sally Hansen polishes hold up just as well in quality and quantity of shades as other, pricier, box store polishes for me, and I will buy them 9/10 times because they work just as well if not better than the polish that is $3-$5 more. I love the Insta-dri polishes, they are really quick to dry and if you want to do several layers, it makes it that much quicker. -

Honestly, Sally Hansen's nail line matches every other box store polish/nail line for quality for me, and sometimes even beats them for certain things (I LOVE the strengthening polish, and the cuticle remover). They also come in just as many awesome colours. For being so drastically cheaper than 90% of the other polishes out there, it is really surprising how well they hold up to the pricier polishes. I almost always buy Sally, I just really like them, plus they're cheap enough I can buy two or three! -

Essie polishes are definitely a bit on the expensive side for a box store polish. They average at least a couple bucks more than most of the rest. On average, they have a lot of pretty pastels, and if that is what you are looking for, you will likely find what you want with Essie. They are easy to apply and last nicely. I don't find them extraordinary, or of outstanding quality. I will really only purchase them above others if there is a particular shade I HAVE to have and can't find a dupe. -

I absolutely adore it. It smells like a really romantic woody candle to me. Not like a pine tree, but like a soft rich mahogany with a feminine twist. I really like this one a lot. -

We have five dogs, and as much as we try and keep up with them and keep them off of furniture and stuff, every once and awhile they triumph and the house just smells like dog (especially after a few days of rain). I spray the couch and chairs, the curtains and any soft surface with this (and clean, duh) and that smell disappears right away. -
