I actually bought Garnier Body Intensive 7 Day Soothing Lotion while I was in the hospital for two weeks back in September of this year. The air in the hospital was sahara desert kind of drying and I get really dry skin if I don't moisturize and use the right products on my skin in the shower and such. The only shower products the hospital supplied was an all purpose bar of soap, which just dried out my skin even more. So the first day I felt well enough to walk down to the hospital gift shop, I stocked up on real shampoos, conditioners, body washes and etc., And because the dry skin issue was so bad and I was now starting to scratch myself raw from the itch, I asked the shop girl what the best body lotion was. She handed me this Garnier 7 Day Lotion and as soon as I got back to my room I started slathering it on. It instantly took away the itch and really did a great job in helping my skin get back to normal. I didn't find that it was a miracle product in terms of making my skin uber soft, but as it reversed the terrible dryness issues I was having, I think it's a pretty darn good lotion. -

I feel like everyone has had Vaseline Cocoa Butter in their house at one point or another. It's just one of those staple products. And it's a staple for a reason. It's a great product. It does a nice job of leaving your skin soft and moisturized, and it isn't oily or greasy feeling. It also has that wonderful cocoa butter smell that just warms on your skin. I love Vaseline Cocoa Butter Lotion, and I will probably continue buying it as long as it is still on the shelves. -

I love, love, love Aussie's Sprunch spray. Like another chickadvisor on here who said in her review that she uses the sprunch spray in wet hair, I prefer to use it this way as well. I also spray it on my hair after towelling it down and while it is still damp I will wrap it into several twisted coils and pin it and leave it until it dries for really pretty, natural looking curls. My hair is wavy as it is, but it kind of does its own thing and isn't really a "pretty" wave. Sprunch spray helps me define the wave and control it. As others have said, sprunch spray has its own unique scent and I am ADDICTED to it. It smells like nothing else and I would probably wear it as a perfume if I could :) -

I find Aussie's line to be one of the cheapest lines out there, and have not been let down by a single product they have. I LOVE the sprunch spray for getting more volume out of my waves, or for getting a beachy wave look. And Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner is just as good as salon products, in my opinion. For at least 1/4 the price of higher end products, this conditioner turns my hair into silk. It smells amazing, and I actually get comments on how good my hair smells if I had it up most of the day and take it down. I love the way it dispenses as well. One of my favourite conditioners out there. -

I used to work housekeeping at a student residence (read six bedroom apartments for college students, so beer, puke, mold, dirt EVERYWHERE, disgusting grossness). We had a range of products from Swish, who supplied us with special tools and products for every type of mess you could imagine. But often times we found that the simplest products worked just as well, if not better. We loved Dawn dish soap, for instance, and baking soda was a GODSEND. I used to LOVE Mr. Clean for getting marks off the walls before we washed them, and for getting rid of the oh so fun grafitti on desks and walls (college boys think they're hilarious). My favourite use was definitely in the showers. It took all the soap scum and grime right off the shower. Our other cleaners would have to be left for fifteen to twenty minutes to soak before you could get to scrubbing, and you had to expend a lot more energy and time at it. Mr. Clean would just power everything away. Plus it was cheap, we even found them at the dollar store. Yay Mr. Clean! -

I am 28 and I still get Cadbury Mini Eggs every Christmas, Easter and Valentine's Day. Probably because everyone knows they are my favourite treat (And I'm not really a fan of sweet things unless it's these addictive little jerks) and I am legitimately addicted. I would sell my mother for a family size bag of these. Possibly joking. I have also literally made myself sick with these. I have no willpower with mini eggs! I once got a bag that was like 5 pounds of mini eggs Christmas morning and ate it all that day. I have also devoured a huge bag in bed and then had to lay down in agony for several hours. I love them, I love the shell, the chocolate, the whole thing. I am thankful that usually I only see the little bags, because that way at least I don't get sick, because I HAVE to eat the whole bag. There is no alternative. -

I would have rated the Rimmel Stay Matte foundation lower, except I use it with another liquid foundation of mine that is too thin and watery, and the combination works. When I first bought this, it was because not only was it like $6, but I found a coupon instore for $2 off. How can you say no to a $4 foundation? Then I tried it and understood why it was so cheap.... I get that it is supposed to be a mattifying foundation, which is what I wanted as I have an oily t-zone so my makeup tends to breakdown during the day. This foundation is SO thick that one little dab leaves my face looking like I am wearing clown makeup. It is ridiculously full coverage. It was also WAYYY lighter than what fair usually means when I purchase it in any other foundation. It makes my (admittedly) pale skin look ghostly. I also hate how hard it is to get product out of the tube once you've used the first third of it. The tube is really hard at the bottom and it hurts to squeeze hard enough to get product out. I actually got use out of it by using a drop or two with my other foundation which is too thin and slightly darker than my complexion though, so I will probably use it up along with the other one because I am too cheap to throw makeup out. Does anyone else have this problem? -

I have Crohn's Disease, which is a disease in which your immune system attacks your bowel, amongst other things. I have a pretty restricted diet, as such, and I avoid pop overall because it is just a nightmare on my stomach. I can however drink Ginger Ale, so long as I let it sit for ten minutes to lose a little carbonation and go flat. It actually soothes my tummy in some cases when it is upset, and it fulfills that occasion "POP!" craving. I prefer Canada Dry over other Ginger Ales as well, and the price point is pretty awesome, generally. -

I have ugly fingernails. I hate them. They have noticeable ridges, they are never smooth, and they don't hold a nail polish well. I bought the Revlon Nail Buffer on a recommendation from a girlfriend and dayummm... This really works! My nails get incredibly shiny, the ridges buff away, and if I don't use the side to shine my nails, just to rough them, nail polish holds better on my nails. -

I love Bath & Body Works (I feel like that's where I should put the period, haha) Anti-Bacterial Gels. I have an auto-immune disease and I am currently on a biologic immune-suppressant drug, which makes me REALLY likely to catch any illnesses going around and get very sick. I am incredibly diligent at hand washing and lysol wiping down any common surfaces at work and home. I work with college students all day, so I see a lot of students coming in with cold and flu bugs and I love that I have a hand gel sitting on my desk I can use after taking money or accepting paperwork or whatnot. I also love the price (usually 3 for $5 or something along those lines) and the little plastic holders they sell for cheap so you can hook one on to your purse (which I have). I feel a bit safer with my hand gels, and they also smell terrific ;) -
