I began drinking lactose milk alternatives when I was first diagnosed with Crohn's Disease, and was trying to discover what diet would be best for eliminating trigger foods. Dairy is often a big trigger for IBD. I tried almond, soy, rice and oat milks. I found I liked almond milk the best, and actually really enjoyed it, and my favourite brand was definitely silk pure almond. I could actually drink a cup of this, and the others I could only use sparingly and in cereals, oatmeals, or whatnot. I didn't actually enjoy their flavours. My only complaint would be price point, and it is only high in comparison to lactose milks, as all the dairy alternatives are expensive. I actually still purchase almond milk from time to time, even though I have ruled out a lactose intolerance. -

CoverGirl LashBlast Clump Crusher Mascara is legitimately my favourite mascara of all time. My girlfriend actually bought this for me after trying it for herself and knowing I would love it as well, and she totally nailed it. I have purchased this mascara and only this mascara every time I shop for mascara since I received my first one. It gives me length, drama, doesn't clump, it lasts better than any other mascara, and it is wonderfully waterproof. Just A Super Hero Product. -

My very favourite mascara is CoverGirl (clump crusher) and my second favourite is the staple pink and green cap mascara that was my very first mascara ever. I bought the Bombshell Volume mascara on impulse when I first saw it hit the shelves, thinking it would be fun, and assuming I would like it as I love CoverGirl's mascaras. I honestly hate this mascara. First off, it's so big and clunky it's hard to maneuver and you feel like you are using a spatula to put mascara on. Secondly, it is so freaking clumpy, it turns my lashes into like five gross megalash clumps. Seriously unattractive. And the "volume" building side literally made my lashes white to the point where I had to chase them with the black mascara to try and camouflage my now suddenly white lashes. Huge fail for me as a product. -

It's funny how I typically love Maybelline mascaras and yet I solidly dislike the Falsies Big Eyes Mascara. Not only does this mascara really clump in my lashes, but I get a lot of breakdown and end up with smears of mascara under my eyes or on my lids within forty five minutes of application. It doesn't last for me, and it gives me clumpy, spidery doll lashes. Definitely not the right fit for me. -

Polysporin is the only brand I trust for cuts and scrapes, and minor skin infections. It has always made healing faster, cleared up any little skin infections (although I stress, be careful with even minor infections, get medical attention for anything that looks nasty, or comes with nausea, fevers, vomiting or diarrhea!). I love that they make a Triple Antibiotic Ointment now! I keep one in the medicine cabinet and an extra in the bathroom. -

Like another reviewer on here, I received this product as a one-use sample. I have used COUNTLESS products that are supposed to be quick fixes for split ends/ damaged / dry / coloured / frizzy / etc., hair. I have never tried one that has made any significant difference, so I definitely was not expecting big things from this. I used it after my shower in my damp hair and honestly? Wow. Such a freakin' difference! My hair was unbelievably soft, tangle free, and looked so healthy and shiny.... I am DEFINITELY buying this stuff. It is like... unicorn tears kind of magical. So cool. -

I bought this shampoo and conditioner at Shopper's Drug Mart one day, mostly because they were on sale 2 for $5. I'm glad I did though! I love the smell of both of these, and the scent lasts all day in my hair, but isn't overpowering. My hair seems softer afterwards, and definitely has less tangles and frizz. The conditioner is also so thick and creamy that it lasts a good while, which is big for me because I have super long hair that just devours conditioner and so I spend a stupid amount on it each month. -

I received a samply of Tresemme Keratin Smooth Heat Protect 7 Day System for free to try in the mail. I used the shampoo, conditioner and leave in treatment product and then following the directions, blow dried and straightened my hair. The product definitely kept my hair straight and smooth for two days before I washed it, which is pretty sweet because my hair is notorious for falling back to its natural wave no matter what I do. The product promised to last through your next few hair washes during the 7 days. My hair definitely went wavy again after my first wash, but I could see it was less wavy than usual. It was also less frizzy than normal. But by the next wash, I could see no change in my typical hair behaviour. I would use this system every once and awhile to maintain my hair when I straighten it for a special occasion, or on a humid day maybe, however I can't see myself using it regularly because it is a lot of work. -

I don't find Moroccanoil to be the "miracle" product a lot of people think it is, but I use it now and then for a little extra shine, and of the many hair oils I've tried, this is definitely my favourite. I really do like the scent. I ONLY use moroccanoil on wet hair, and I'm really careful to use it sparingly and just on the last 3/4s of my hair. WELL away from my roots. If I use a drop too much or stray too close to the roots, or try a bit on dry hair, I end up with greasy looking hair. But I enjoy using it on wet hair, because my hair is very long (reaches the bottom of my ribs) and takes forever to dry and this product definitely speeds up drying time. It also makes my hair look a little less dry the day of usage. I don't find any long term gain in health, shine or split ends however. -

Triscuit's make an excellent work snack, I just have to be careful to portion them out otherwise I will eat the whole box! -
