Love trying new skin care products and this one did not disappoint.
The cleanser has small exfoliating beads in it and is very creamy.
It makes me skin feel very smooth immediately after using it and the texture of my skin is softer overall after several days use.
I cleanse my face twice daily and usually use a very gentle cleanser for this, I was a bit worried this might be too abrasive for my daily routine. I didn't need to be, my skin is loving it.
There is a soft floral scent to it, not overpowering and does not linger.

We used this on sliced pork loin. It marinated for over 24 hours in the fridge and OMG. So good! When I first poured it into the frying pan to cook it I immediately knew it was going to be delicious. Smelled amazing! It reminds me quite a bit of teriyaki. We served it with rice and steamed veggies.
It has a bit of heat but it's the kind of spice that you notice while you're eating but it quickly fades from your mouth, not that lingering burn that some things have.
After I was done my dinner I kept going back to the pan to pick up another piece. It's so full of flavour, a bit sweet too.
Definitely recommend and will be getting this one again.

I was looking forward to trying something new. We always scan the various spice blends but never know what to pick.
We're not a fish family so we tried this on a pork loin. It may have been that it just wasn't suited to pork but I found the main flavor that came through was the pepper. The secondary flavor was bit familiar but I can't place what it reminds me of. I've seen other suggestion of using it on veggies, we may try that next. Overall this wasn't a favorite in our house.

I was pretty excited for the chance from ChickAdvisor to test out the Dove UltraCare Conditioner Balance+Repair Milk-Gel for free! My hair has recently gone from a regularly lightened platinum balayage to a darker brown closer to my natural colour. Plus I use a flat iron or a wand at least a few times a week. I need something that will give it what it needs without weighing it down or leaving any residue behind. I find some products that are meant to repair leave a film on my hair that makes my tools less effective=crappy curls from my wand.
I have to admit I often struggle (I don't know why) with opening some of these pump style tops for the first time, and I definitely had a hard time with this one. I had to take it right out of the bottle and rinse off the inside part to get a good grip and twist the top until it popped up. Embarrassing moment over.
I always ring as much of the water out of my hair as I can before applying conditioner, in the hopes that more of it will get to my hair instead of sliding off. Conditioner in, and I wasn't sure what to think. It didn't have the same texture my hair normally has with conditioner in. It wasn't as slippery/slimy. In fact I wondered for a moment if I had managed to drop the conditioner out of my hand before it made it to my hair, so I added a bit more to be safe. It rinsed out easily, no slimy residue clinging to my hair FOREVER.
Towel dry and took my wet brush to it, worried since it didn't really FEEL like conditioner was in my hair in the shower. My brush went through my hair, minor tangles, fewer than usual for sure.
The real test though, in my opinion, is once it's dry.

Second time around I didn't add extra conditioner despite the fact that it doesn't FEEL like conditioner and got the same results. Super soft, glossy, easy to work with.
It smells really nice, not too strong, and I find the scent doesn't hang around to much. I can't smell my hair every time I move. This could be a plus or a minus depending on your preference.
I will definitely be using the full bottle, which isn't my norm. I like to try new things all the time but I'm loving the results from this. It's a keeper!

It does an acceptable job of smoothing but isn't surpassing any drugstore primer you could pick up for less than what this costs.
I appreciated that it is a natural product and hoped for more but ultimately do not plan on incorporating it into my regular routine.

I looked forward to receiving this free TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist™ Hair Spray from ChickAdvisor to review because I have trouble finding hairspray I actually like.
I don't want anything sticky or that will make my hair crunchy.
I was happy to find that this spray had a very gentle hold while providing some texture and a nice fragrance to my hair.
I want my hair to stay loose and move but hold it's shape and texture and this spray definitely helped to achieve that goal.
I didn't worry about touching my hair a bit throughout the day and the spray helped keep it looking more full, which I really liked.

I've had a few pastels in my hair done in a salon in the past, they were beautiful and took a while to achieve. I honestly didn't have high expectations of a spray in colour.
My hair is platinum in the lengths, the perfect starting shade according to the box.
I washed and towel dried, then sectioned my hair and with a towel over my shoulders began spraying the colour onto my hair and combing through. Right away it's clear that just combing is not sufficient to work the colour in. I rubbed and twisted my hair and added more and more colour until it appeared to be thoroughly covered. Managed to get it on the walls and bathroom door. It wipes off easily, while still wet. I can't imagine trying to apply in the shower as suggested in the instructions as you need to be able to see what you're doing.
After covering the blonde in my hair I blow dried my hair.
The fragrance is nice, not overwhelming. I could feel the product on my hair but not so much that it bothered me.
The shade was exactly the blue I'm always trying to achieve. Pale, silvery blue. Some sections appeared more grey, which I loved, it gave the colour more depth.
My biggest fear was how it would fade. Blue can easily go green on its way out. To my surprise it was almost completely gone after one wash. It may linger more with a milder shampoo.
It took about 1/3 of the bottle, and less than 15 minutes to make the lengths of my hair the pale blue I love. This is something I plan to try in other colours. Super easy and the colour of great. It might be nice if it lasted a bit longer, but as a person who has had colour refuse to leave in the past I appreciate how easily it came out. I can try a range of colours knowing they won't haunt me for weeks afterwards, not to mention just how easy it is to apply.

I signed my husband up for this because we have a hard time finding a product to keep his skin moisturized that he will actually use. He cannot stand it when his skin feels greasy or slimy and has no patience to wait for something to absorb.
I was skeptical of this product at first as we've had other Nivea creams that were just too think and sat on top of his skin. And I do not love the original Nivea scent.
I was very happy to discover the scent here was more reminiscent of a soap or deodorant aimed at men. The cent is strong at first but didn't seem to linger too long.
Now on to the most important part. Hubby applied to his hands and arms to start and actually started complaining about it feeling sticky on his hands. Then he stopped and looked at me with a surprised look on his face. His skin just felt smooth. The crème absorbed quickly. He then proceeded to use it on his face and neck because he was so impressed with how quickly it disappeared into his skin.
He works outside every day and has very dry and rough skin. I am very happy to have found a product that will help take care of his skin that he will actually use.

My kids really like Bear Paws so these seemed like a great choice. I was happy to see the Cherries and Berries option as we're not fond of citrus flavored gummies in our home. The texture is more dry and firm than other gummies we've tried. The flavor was a bit bland and not overly "natural". My kids liked them but they're not a favorite and it's unlikely we'll buy them again. -

Sanissimo Salmas Oven Baked Corn Crackers make a great addition to our busy household.
I was not entirely sure when these first arrived, that my family would be interested. We love that we #gotitfree and I have some selective testers in this house.
I am so happy that they are only 4 ingredients but am on the fence over the individual packages. I plan to find out if I can buy these all in one package. One because I don't like all of that packaging, but more importantly because three is never enough!
These corn crackers taste very much like a yummy corn tortilla. I unwrapped a few packs and lined them up on a cookie sheet, covered them in shredded old cheddar and baked them until the cheese was bubbly. Then topped them with some fresh salsa.
They were a hit! My usually pickier son kept coming back for more.
They stayed mostly crunchy even after being buried in cheese and baked.
They are tasty on their own and yummy with salsa.
I'm looking forward to getting more and trying out more combinations, since this box lasted only 2 days!
