I purchased this iron for my granddaughter just over a year ago and the circuit board shorted out. Absolutely not worth the money for having only a years warranty and no parts available to repair it. I've had mine for quite a few years and it still...   +

I purchased this iron for my granddaughter just over a year ago and the circuit board shorted out. Absolutely not worth the money for having only a years warranty and no parts available to repair it. I've had mine for quite a few years and it still works fine. Looks like they are made very poorly now! So very disappointed. If this is the way they manufacture flat irons now, then it pays to just buy a cheap one and toss it out when it fails.    -
