I have to start by saying I love the glycolic fix pads in this line. I decided to try dragon's blood because I hear good things about it and this one was on sale. I'm so disappointed that Shopper's Drug Mart has discontinued this brand altogether, but I'm glad I got my hands on this when I could. Anyway, these pads are less moistened then any of the other ones I've used from this line. I'm not sure if that's the way they always are or if it's because I had an older batch that has started to dry out. It's still easy enough to use all over the face and get a boost of hydration (there's also hyaluronic acid in this) that doesn't feel uncomfortable or sticky under moisturizer and makeup. The one thing that will probably keep me from wanting to repurchase is the scent. I hate the smell. It doesn't smell like chemicals or alcohol but I just really hate the scent. I don't know how to describe the smell, I assume it's the dragon's blood. The smell goes away after a while so it's only during application that it bothers me. -

I only tried a sample of this, so take my review with a grain of salt... I got two single-use samples of this from a drugstore and had to look up what to do with it as there isn't much information about directions for use on the sample packet. When I looked it up, I found out that this is used similarly to a conditioner. You apply it in the shower after shampooing, but apply to the roots as well the rest of the strand. Using this method, I didn't think there was enough product in the same to provide enough coverage to my hair. Seeing the full size product, I'm not sure if I'd get a lot of uses out of it if I need to use so much product every time. The balm has an unpleasant medicated kind of smell and starts to feel tingly on the scalp very quickly, which I didn't like. After rinsing and getting out of the shower, I still catch whiffs of the unpleasant scent. I don't know how effective it was for thickening, since I've used it only twice but I'm not sure I'm interested in trying more given the horrible smell. -

Before this, I had never tried a peel-off mask so I was intrigued about trying this for chickadvisor's product review club. It has a nice grapefruit scent and comfortable texture as I tried to get coverage on my whole face. I was glad that it didn't feel overly sticky because I was worried that would make application too difficult. The best part was definitely peeling it off at the end, and I'm sure that's the fun of it for most people who try this. I was disappointed though that it didn't all peel off as one unit, but it broke off and tore, so I had to go back and remove the remaining bits. That may have more to do with how I applied it though, so maybe with more practice I'd get it right. As with the clay mask from this same line, I didn't really like that this came in a single-use pouch because I find that wasteful and having more of a mess than there'd be if this were in a tube or tub. -

I enjoyed this mask. In the past couple of years, I've started using a lot of clay, sheet, and sleeping masks so I was looking forward to trying this one from product review club. I was a little underwhelmed by the pink grapefruit scent of the cleanser in this line, so I was glad when I tore open the packaging for the mask and was greeted by the fruity grapefruit scent. As I started to apply the mask, however, the smell seemed more faint and also a little weird but it wasn't strong enough to bother me. The mask spreads easily but doesn't apply evenly. It was kind of neat to see a clay mask as pink on the face, as most of my masks have been darker colours or that stereotypical blue-green mask colour. Overall, I thought this was a decent mask but I really am not a fan of the way it's packaged in these single use pouches. There is more product in there that I would use for a single time (I actually ended up putting the rest on my neck so it wouldn't dry up and go to waste) and it gets really messy to use. If this were in a tube, you'd be able to dispense just the amount you want to use, and there wouldn't be clay all over your hands as you try to get it covered on your face. I'm not sure it's the most economical to buy these for single use as well. With the same amount of product in a tube, you'd probably get more uses out of it, and with less waste. I thought that, maybe, this single-use format was just for trial purposes but it's actually the same way it's sold in stores. -

I was really glad to try this for product review. I've been on a new skin care kick, so I'm always looking for something that's going to be effective and targeted to problem areas. I think this did a good job at cleaning out my pores and not leaving me with dried out or skin that feels tight and parched after cleansing. I was a little let down that there wasn't a sweet pink grapefruit scent, but it's probably better that this isn't overly scented anyway. The texture feels comfortable but what I liked most is that only a small amount of product needs to be squeezed out and it lathers into quite a bit of foam. A little goes a long way, which I was pleased about because the tube doesn't look like much product when you see it. Overall, I think this makes it great value for what you're paying. I'll definitely share with my sister because I think she'll enjoy using it as well. -

I used this at my boyfriend's after a late night and not having any of my own cleansers or skincare products. I was apprehensive at first about what I was putting on my skin but decided to go for it because that was probably better than not using it. I thought the fragrance was really strong (as most men's products usually are) but it did a good job and didn't leave my skin feeling too dried out or tight, which were my fears. I'll use it as a backup if I have to, and I'll recommend it for men. -

I've never used an all-over acne lotion because spot treatment intuitively sounds better for the skin. Since these products have medicated ingredients to target acne, I thought it might be better to limit the skin's exposure to only the problem areas and keep it off the parts of the face that aren't part of the breakout. This might be the case with stronger ingredients but I think the concentration of salicylic acid and LHA might be specially formulated to be gentle on the whole face in this lotion. I've only used it for a couple days so far but was excited to add a review since I #gotitfree for product review. Given that, I can't say with certainty how effective this is in combating acne but I can say that I haven't had a breakout and the existing acne I had earlier in the week seems to be shrinking away. The lotion has a light scent and feels luxurious and smooth when applied. I think it's a good product but I don't love the packaging. It comes in a pump with opaque bottle so you can't see how much of the product is left. I think I would prefer a transparent bottle so I can actually gauge if I'm running low. With the existing pump, the product doesn't come out easily, which could help to reduce wasting the lotion but I think there will be waste overall with this pump method. I think it's still sanitary and would maybe have less product waste if this came in a squeeze type bottle. I think this is worth a try for those who have moderate acne, especially when it goes on sale. I'm not sure if I'll get another bottle since it's not very big but I'll suggest it to my sister to help control occasional breakouts. -

I was so excited to try this (from Product Review Club) that I actually used it on a day that I was indoors most of the time. To be fair spf is important any time you're exposed to the sun and I did need to go outside in order to hole myself up in the building after lol. Anyway, I love this sunscreen. It's marketed as "anti-shine" and "dry touch" and it delivers! To be honest, it doesn't seem shine free when you first apply it but it dries down to a matte finish and feels comfortable throughout the day. Upon application the texture is smooth and easy to spread, which is a huge plus for me since sunscreens can often feel very heavy and difficult to apply evenly. For a facial sunscreen, this is exactly what I need. Neutrogena also has "dry touch" sunscreens which apply well, but I find them drying. This Vichy one doesn't dry out my skin but there is some change to the texture, as all sunscreens tend to do with my skin. It comes in a pretty small tube which is unfortunate when you look at the price tag, but I think I'll probably buy this every summer since I like using it and it'll just be for the face. I'll get a less expensive sunscreen for the body. -

I try lots of different ones but this is one of the dry shampoos I come back to. It works well and adds some volume. The only thing I hate about it is the smell, but I can live with that if it does its job. Other dry shampoos haven't been as effective (leaves white residue or hair doesn't look refreshed) so I know this one won't let me down. I do prefer Batiste, but I'll use this one when I don't feel like spending so much on Batiste. -

It's a whipped formula that feels light in the hair and helps with a style that's not too stiff or weighed down. It doesn't really hold a style for very long though. -
