It's been a while since I've used a hair removal cream, so I had hoped that they'd improved in the meantime. Alas, the only improvement I saw in this particular one is the applicator. I could apply the cream without touching it or using a tiny spatula that always gets lost, so I liked that. Since this is a cream for facial hair, the applicator still needs some work, as it could be more precise. The cream should be on for 5-10 minutes. I used it on the upper lip hairs and left it on for 8.5 minutes. In this time it removed most hair, but not all. Wiping it off with a damp cotton pad didn't remove the hair well, so I had to scrub it off a bit more roughly. This removed the hair, but irritated the skin somewhat, which became red. I have to note that the cream itself didn't irritate my skin (I did a patch test), it was the scrubbing during removal that caused the irritation. The redness went away within an hour. Another aspect I didn't love is the scent. This cream still has that strong chemical scent that I'm familiar with. If anything, it smelled stronger than some other creams, but that could be because I used it right under my nose. I powered through it, but didn't enjoy the process. Overall, I still recommend the cream, as it is effective. Just know what to expect - a strong smell, some leftover hairs and slight irritation in some cases. -

Kinetic sand is something we always have on hand, and we play with it both indoors (it's vacuums well) and outdoors. The set contains three colours of kinetic sand and 10 tools and molds. We prefer to play with one colour at a time, because once they mix they're not as bright. The molds are great in this set and not too hard to use for my 4 year old. The three special cutters are a bit harder for her, as they require more force, but she loves seeing the sand pop out - for these cutters I recommend using more than one colour for better effects (. I like the little tool that makes a hole, it's simple, easy to use and fun for little ones, since they can then fill the hole with something. Overall, it's a great set, but I will love using it more with a bigger quantity of one colour of the sand. The tools seem to be durable and can definitely last for years and can be used for other things as well (like play dough). -

I really liked this ice cream. It's sweet, but not overly so, and the cherry flavour is intense, but not artificial. The chocolate is subtle, but I could definitely taste it. I also like that the chocolate pieces are not hard and crunchy, but soft and blend in with the rest of the flavours. Overall, I liked the combination and would buy it again. I like the small size because I like to have multiple flavours on hand, and my freezer is small. I noticed the ice cream isn't very creamy, though, and crumbles a bit when I form scoops, and I wonder if that's how it's made or if it was stored improperly at the store where I bought it. That's my only complaint. -

I have dry and slightly sensitive skin, with coarse hair. It's a nightmare for shaving, and I always get small bumps on my bikini line when removing pubic hair. I was skeptical before trying this razor, but knew it can't be worse than the ones I've already tried. It's much better. I had almost no bumps after using it, and the ones that did appear were small and skin coloured, not angry red as it usually happens. This razor is engineered to barely touch skin, and the head moves. It takes some getting used to, and I didn't get quite as close a shave as I normally do, but it's not noticeable. The head of the razor is apparently smaller than other razors, which may be true for regular razors for women, but I use razors for men and I would say the size is comparable to them. The razor handle is slim and heavy, and it feels like the quality is good. I had no problem with holding or controlling it with wet hands. If you choose to remove pubic hair and experience irritation when doing so, I recommend giving this razor a try. -

This is a really good shaving gel, and it does exactly what it promises. It comes in a pump bottle that provides some resistance, so it's easy to control the amount of gel dispensed. The gel gets thicker somehow when applied to skin. It's completely clear and non foaming (no soap in it). I actually prefer shaving foam, because that way I can see which area I'm done with, but I can get used to this gel. It's really gentle and rinses of very easily. The best part is that it doesn't clog the razor at all, which is the main reason I'll keep using it. -

When we received this toy I was completely confused. I thought that Charger was supposed to be Rubble and they messed up the colours. Then I looked it up online and realized that this toy is from the Paw Patrol spin-off show called 'Rubble and Crew'. We didn't watch this show yet, so I wasn't surprised that my daughter didn't get too excited about this toy. The two pups are cute and well made, but I wish at least their heads could turn. The shovel and "toolbox" bucket work nicely, they're small but usable, but the wheel cutter is made too thick and doesn't cut too well. The amount of kinetic sand included is laughable, and it was lucky that we had more on hand. I would only recommend this toy if your child loves the spin-off show. For us, it wasn't that fun to play with, and my daughter gave up on it quickly. I was trying to decide between giving it three or four stars, but it's well made, so I went for four. -

I'm divided on this deodorant. The scent is fantastic, fresh and moderately strong. For some reason it's not always easy to find fresh citrus deodorants, and in my opinion those work the best to mask odour. This one is perfectly scented. That being said, it's comparable to other deodorants. It can only go on clean skin and I have to reapply once every day. It works for a regular day, but if I'm running around or working out it doesn't cut it and I start getting stinky. So I will just use it on low impact days, since I love the scent so much. It doesn't contain baking soda, so it doesn't irritate sensitive skin, and I had no irritation from using it. It glides moderately well, and I didn't notice any white residue on my armpits, which is a big plus. It's also worth noting that the packaging is plastic, but made from 100% recycled materials, which is a great thing. -

I'm so happy we got this toy since my daughter LOVES mermaids. A random selection was sent out and we lucked out. So far the MerCat swam in the "pool" - a mini ballpit really, played with other plush toys, slept in the doll bed and went with us for a doctor's appointment. The small size is perfect for bringing it along wherever we go. The doll is soft, sparkly and there no parts I'd be worried about. -

A lot of toys these days are not durable, but this one is. It's not flimsy, the plastic is thick and sturdy. The Marshall figurine and the vehicle are quite large. It's easy to fit Marshall inside, even for a 3 year old, and the "glass" snaps shut easily, too. The projectile shoots out with a press of a button. I would caution parents that the button is easy to press and can be pressed by accident, so I would only let a kid play with it if they can understand to point it away from themselves or others. It shoots out with some force, and flies nicely, but I wouldn't want to get hit by it in a tricky spot. Luckily, the vehicle is quite fun even if the projectile is removed, and my daughter understands where to point it to shoot. The only problem is that she wants the rest of them now :D -

My daughter loved this toothpaste. We tried it twice so far, and she loves the bubblegum flavour. I love that it doesn't contain any sugar like some kid's toothpastes do. This is a fluoride toothpaste, so make sure your kid knows how to spit it out before introducing it. The tube is soft and easy to squeeze, but it's not too hard to control the flow for me (my daughter is working on it). I like the double pack, but I would like to see the toothpaste in a smaller size, since I like to keep it fresh, replacing it after about 6 months after opening, and even brushing twice a day I don't think we will use it up. -
