I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club
Ever since I had first seen the product on the shelves of my local drugstore, I had been wanting to try it. I have very fine hair that to show greasy roots a day after washing. Pantene Pro-V Aqua Light shampoo definitely lived up to its claims: it's a very light-weight formula that did not weigh down my hair but also left it feeling very clean and healthy. My hair is totally weightless and has more volume than it does when I use some other brand's shampoos. I usually try and look for "thickening" or "volumizing" shampoos, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much volume I could achieve in my hair just by using a weightless formula instead. The smell of this shampoo is nice, but I don't find that it clings to my hair after it's dry, which could be a good or bad thing depending on what you're looking for in a shampoo. I personally like the smell to linger on my hair, but maybe that aspect ties in with the weightless formula...?
I really really like this shampoo. I think it's a really great shampoo for me to use: nourishing yet weightless, just like the bottle says. Anyone with fine hair I think would really enjoy this product.

This product could definitely be used as a replacement for foundation. It's like a tinted moisturizer, but with more skin-calming benefits for toning, pigmentation and overall luminosity. I will most definitely be replacing my $55 Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer with this bb cream. I just think the price and the overall benefits of a bb cream, particularly the Garnier bb cream, outweighs any regular tinted moisturizer. The coverage of this bb cream is the same, if not more, than any tinted moisturizer I've tried, and the finish of it satin-y which I like. The coverage is also build-able without being cakey or looking like there is way too much product on my face. It also smells fantastic! I can't find anything bad to say about this product. I'm also starting to notice that some of my dark, hyper-pigmented spots on my face are starting to diminish and I've only been using this product for about a month. I'm really happy to see more affordable and effective products starting to make their way to the drugstores -

Located in the Byward Market, Zaks is a classic diner in the heart of downtown Ottawa. Zaks Diner is a throwback to the 1950s. It's decorated in really bright and fun colours, with old 50s advertisements decorating the walls. There's also a jukebox! Zaks has the Best breakfast in Ottawa! Lots to choose from! Zak's makes really tasty sandwiches too. And the milkshakes are TO DIE FOR! I recommend the Mocha milkshake, it's delectable. The great thing about Zaks is that it's open 24 hours, so it's there to quench your cravings anytime of day. I have never experienced any poor service there. However, on Saturday and Sunday mornings it's really busy so be prepared to wait for a table. The service it quick, but you don't ever feel rushed when you're eating there. It is a touch expensive, but I think it's worth it. I recommend ordering the Big Breakfast with a Mocha milkshake in the mornings, and the Crispy Chicken honey garlic wrap for lunch or dinner! Bon Appetite! -

Such a yummy smelling perfume! The reason I was first attracted to this perfume is because of the bottle, it's so pretty! When I finally got around to smelling it, I fell in love! I don't usually gravitate towards sweet-vanilla smelling perfumes, but this one is different. The Sephora website describes the perfume as follows: "The fragrance is a sparkling floral. Like an addictive crush, there's an instant attraction to its mouthwatering notes of pink guava and mandarin. With a sweet caress, a delicate bouquet of tuberose and lotus blossom follows. Behind it all are precious woods and a sheer musk, a lasting trail that brings warmth and comfort to this irresistible fragrance." It's sweet, but not overly sweet. it's fruit, but not too much. It's the perfect blend of all the different scents available to women on the market. It's my go-to perfume now. It's has great staying power. The aroma lingers on clothing for days! Recently I bought a rollerball to carry in my purse to dab a few extra notes throughout the day. I can't say enough great things about this perfume! Definitely give this a sniff! I purchased mine at Sephora http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P293502&categoryId=B70 -

In the winter, I like to layer a men's scent with a fresher, female scent. I just think it adds a warmer hint to my everyday fragrance. I love Armani Black Code for doing that. I'm terrible at describing scents but Armani describes its scent as "an Oriental spice." It is a masculine scent, but layered under another scent, it makes everything just seem warmer. I would highly recommend going to smell this yourself! I like to layer it with either D&G;Light Blue or Vera Wang's Lovestruck -

MAC eyeshadows can do no wrong. They are expensive but they quality is superb. There are so many colours to choose from, with so many shade ranges and finishes. There is little to no fallout with mac shadows and they last forever; twice as long even if you use a primer. I think MAC eyeshadows are a staple in any makeup kit. If you buy them in the pro palette they are about $4 less expensive. My favourite colours are woodwinked, all that glitters, ricepaper, phloof, satin taupe, mulch, quarry, club, cork, and orb. You can't just pick one favourite when it comes to mac eyeshadows. I recommend going into the store and speaking with one of the sales-people. they are so helpful at talking you through the colours and choosing the ones that are best for you and your skin tone. I admit, mac eyeshadows are expensive, but they are an investment. My makeup collection wouldn't be complete without them. -

I had never tried a cream blush until this past summer. I wanted something that I could easily just swipe onto my cheeks, blend, and go. NYC blushable cream sticks are about $2-$3 at drugstores. They come in a couple different shades of pinks, berries, and bronze colours. They are so creamy and easy to blend, it leaves you with a flawless blushing cheek! When I'm putting more time into getting ready, sometimes I'll pop a light dusting of a powder blush over top, but for the most part when I use the cream sticks, I use it on its own. I was really impressed with the colour payoff and the staying-ability of this product. Even though it doesn't come in a bunch of different shades, I think there is at least a colour available to every skin tone range. Also, the amount of product in every tube is unbelievable! I won't be running out anytime soon. I would definitely recommend checking this product out. It's too effective and inexpensive not too! Your wallet with thank you -

I wish every sunscreen felt this good! Hawaiian Tropic, for me, totally has the rep of being the best smelling sunscreen, by far. I use this sunscreen every day in the summer (SPF 15) on my arms mostly. Because I'm fair skinned, SPF 15 is more of "tanning lotion" than sun protection. I burn so easily so I have to wear sunscreen all the time, and SPF 15 is the lowest I would ever go in terms of sun protection. I love the smell. It goes on my skin really smoothly. It's inexpensive, which is good because I go through a lot of this stuff. The only thing I have against this product is that it's very liquidy, so I do think that a lot of the lotion does end up going to waste unfortunately. It just comes out of the bottle so quickly!
Either way, I recommend this sunscreen. Be safe in the sun, everyone! A tan now is not worth skin cancer in the future

Here's the thing about sunscreen: it's necessary, but I hate it. I love summer, but I have very fair skin, hence I burn easily. It's not a good mix. I also have very sensitive and oily skin so whichever sunscreen I use has to be able to cope with that. I really like the Neutrogena sheer dry touch sunscreen (SPF 55) because it gives me the protection I need from the sun without a)making my face look greasy (it dries to a matte, almost velvety consistency) and b)without affecting my sensitive skin. I've had my one tube of sunscreen for 3 summers now, so it lasts a long time too. I don't think it's too expensive for what you're getting, this product really is top-notch without breaking the bank. Sun protection is so important!; unless you want to damage your skin from the sun
I absolutely recommend this sunscreen! I believe it even comes in SPF 75!

I was first drawn to this product because it is very comparable to the Nars laguna/orgasm duo. I really like keeping this bronzer/blush duo in my purse. It's perfect for touch-ups on the go, and comes with a huge mirror for such a handy compact. I am fair-skinned, and although this product goes on strongly pigmented on the first application, the bronzer and the blush are both easily blendable to create a flawless glowy look. The only problem I have with this product is the shimmer. I have oily skin and I try to stay away from shimmery products because I feel like they enhance the natural oils in my skin and make me look totally slicked. I can handle the shimmer in this product because it isn't too overwhelming, but I would rather prefer a matte product.
Otherwise, I think this is a great product! It's the perfect item to keep in your on-the-go makeup bag
