I have a serious issue with bags under my eyes and I have been looking for an inexpensive, effective way to keep those suckers hidden. I have the Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation so I decided to give the Blemish concealer a try. I don't why I didn't buy the designated Colorstay Under-Eye Corrector, I guess I just thought the blemish concealer would be more versatile. Anyways...I bought this product for about $13 at Shoppers and I am really happy with it so far. My bags literally disappear with one swipe of this product under my eyes. I've also used it to cover up blemishes and it's done a great job with that too. The product doesn't look cakey on the skin, and it's hardly noticeable at all. I was surprised by how much I liked the brush, since I've had problems with angled, sponge-type brushes in the past. The application of the product itself is very easy and clean. I'm a pretty pale person, so I bought this concealer in "fair", but it's still maybe an smidgen to dark...i like to look really bright under the eyes. For fair to dark skinned people this is a great product, but even lighter skinned people might have trouble finding their right shade. So far, I like this product a lot, but i'm still on the hunt for the absolute best drugstore concealer/under-eye brightener. -

I first bought this John Freida Sheer Blonde Colour Renew shampoo because I was looking for a product to eliminate the brassiness that develops into my blonde hair after multiple washings with some shampoos. I used to use a more expensive salon version of this shampoo, and I found that the less expensive John Freida shampoo was very similar. This shampoo is a vibrant purple colour, which is supposed to cut out the brass in the hair and brighten the look of blonde hair. It smells great. It's very nourishing to my hair, and the bottle is easy to open and close in the shower, which is always something I look for. At $13 or $14 a bottle, it is significantly less expensive than other shampoos meant to do the same thing. I would recommend this shampoo to any colour-treated blonde who is looking to extend the life of their out-of-the-box or salon hair dye. There is also a conditioner of the same line which helps with the same thing. Overall, great product, and lasts a long time. -

I love this hand salve! I couldn't live without it in the Wintertime especially. It works like a charm! The smell is subtle, and almost calming. The effectiveness of the actual product is undeniable. Whenever I feel my hands becoming chapped or dry, a little dab of this hand salve restores the moisture right away, and lasts all day! It's a fair bit more expensive than regular hand lotions, about $12 a bottle, but it lasts a long time and is worth every penny. -

When I first tried this mascara after it first launched, I loved it! After i finished my first tube, I began to branch out and try new mascaras. I've since gone back to LashBlast and I don't find to be as a great as I remember. Perhaps it's because this time around I bought the waterproof formula, but either way, I'm not enjoying it at all. It clumps, there is hardly and lengthening and volumizing, and it's hard to remove. Once again, I've been using the waterproof formula, so I don't know if that made any difference. I may or may not give the regular formula another try, but as of now, I don't love Covergirl LashBlast. Rimmel's Sexy Curves is my new favourite mascara at the moment. -

I have been using Bare Escentuals I.D. Bare Minerals Foundations for about 7 months now. I started using it in the summer because I wanted something light on my skin in the heat. I also wanted to begin using a mineral product because my skin had been taking a beating from all the oily, liquid foundations I was using beforehand. I really like this product! It only suits for a light coverage foundation, but it also wears light, so it makes sense. My skin has thanked me for switching to this product! I don't breakout anymore, and it looks and feels better when I wear, and when I don't. On days when I require fuller coverage, I use a liquid foundation underneath Bare Minerals. I find that bare minerals gives my skins a more natural look on top of the liquid foundation.
I recommend this product for people who want to be nicer to their skin, and are sick and tired of having to cover up the blemishes that occur from their old foundations. Bare Minerals is very gentle on the skin, and easy to remove. It also comes in a lot of different skins shades to it's easy to find the exact shade you need.
It's a bit expensive, at $35 a jar, but if you buy the starter kit for $75, you get all the brushes you need, bronzer, blush, and 2 sample size colours. Definitely worth every penny.

I know this is a man's deodorant, but I don't get the same effect from female anti-persperant products. The smell of "Fiji" Old Spice is soooooooo nice! It's like i've died and gone to some deserted island. Seriously. This anti-persperant last all day long, without any reapplication. I hardly sweat when I wear this product. I get more results from Old Spice than I ever did with Secret of Dove clinical strength. If you have a problem with sweating, and are tired of paying $12 for an anti-persperant that doesn't even work, I suggest switching to a men's deodorant, doesn't even have to be Old Spice. Your clothes, your armpits, your friends and your wallet with thank you! -

I recently got this Rimmel bronzer form Shopper's Drug Mart, on sale for $7. It's idiot-proof! It goes on lighter than most other bronzers, which I like because I have very fair skin, so I can build up the amount of bronzer I need. This product has SPF in it, which is great!, and it has a nice summer smell to it. I didn't find this product shimmer at all, since I did buy the matte formula. The container it comes in is easy to get open, and close afterwards, which is nice, because I don't like fussing around with packaging. So far, I really like this product, and I will definitely buy it again. -

I like it even more than Covergirl Last Blast. I also find that this mascara is really easy to rinse off, either with cleanser or eye makeup remover. I haven't tried any other Rimmel London mascaras, but I'm starting to think of Rimmel in a whole new light after using this mascara. I would definitely recommend this mascara to anyone. Hands down the best mascara I have ever used. -

Okay, so I got really excited about this product when I first saw commercials for it about 2 years ago. After finally buying it and using it i was greatly disappointed. THIS PRODUCT DOES NOTHING. The vibrations of the "wave" doesn't do anything to dig down deep into my pores to extract the dirt. It just vibrates. The cleansing pads weren't all that great and I found the smell very unappealing I would never recommend this product and I feel cheated out of almost $30 when you add all the costs together. Terrible, just terrible. -

I bought this product for $35 at Shopper's Drug Mart in lieu of buying Stila's OneStep which retails at Sephora for $57, which is a little steep for me. Since buying it, I use this product everyday. There are three different colours to choose from when buying this primer. I bought the "apricot" colour, which corrects skin tone and provide even colouring. Theres a "lilac" colour, which gets rid of green/yellow undertones and "banana" which adds brightness to the skin and gets rid of purple-ish undertones. The primer works really well to diminish the look of fine lines and pores...seriously, it looks like you have perfect skin. The consistency of the clear primer is a lot like Smashbox's primer. The Apricot skin correcting formula has a bit of luminescent sheen, which goes away after working the product into your face. All in all, I would definitely recommend this product. After I use it up, I'm going to shell out the big bucks and buy Stila's OneStep and see which I prefer. Happy Hunting! -
