I try a lot of hair products, but day to day, I don't actually use much or anything all that consistently, except this. I am always seeking as much volume as I can get, and I love that a simple spritz of this at the roots on damp hair gives my hair an added boost. While you can get much more volume if you blow dry your hair after using this, I usually don't and still find that this gives my hair more fullness and oomph. It's not something that gives incredible volume, but it does make hair look and feel more full, and as mentioned, it couldn't be easier to use. -

For the longest time, my mom hinted at wanting Corelle dishes to replace her earthenware set as she was finding them to be way too heavy. Being an amazing daughter, I got her a set for Christmas, and after seeing all of the different patterns and using my moms set, ended up buying two of my own. I love that they are so light weight, take up a LOT less space in the cupboard, and are pretty much unbreakable. I've dropped and banged plates and bowls- more times than I'd like to admit- and haven't had a single bit of damage or chipping. Great quality at a really reasonable price- these often go on sale for $20 a set! -

While this isn't something I buy all the time- they're a bit pricey, and I can easily make my own with instant coffee and almond milk- it is a nice treat every now and then (aka when they're on sale.) I went with the Mocha flavour as I was a bit apprehensive about the Caramel Machiato being too sweet, and while it was on the sweeter side, it wasn't too sickly sweet. The coffee flavour was great, and not too weak, and overall a great drink at a lower price than what you'd pay at a coffee shop. -

I LOVE the Maybelline Colour Tattoos in general, so it wasn't hard to get excited about the new Leather additions. Just like the original shades, the Leather shadows are creamy and pigmented, apply and blend with ease- you can even just use your fingers to apply- and wear amazingly all day. They're great on their own, or as a base for powder shadows- I use them most as bases- as they don't crease and give other shadows some pop. I picked up two of the five Leather shades- Vintage Plum a matte, lavender-grey putty type shade, and Chocolate Suede a rich brown with golden shimmer. My most used shade of the two is Vintage Plum, which makes for a great base with the cool taupe shades in the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. -

If you think you don't like lip gloss, these are the lip gloss for you! These are seriously some of, if not, the best lip glosses you can get at the drugstore. The formulation is perfection as it's got glossy shine without being too glossy or slick looking, a light texture that isn't the slightest bit sticky, and wears quite well for a gloss- about 2-3 hours. These have an okay scent- a perfumey-fruit blend- but does read as a little artificial. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either... luckily, it doesn't stick around very long once applied. The formula is quite similar to the Clarins Lip Perfectors, but at a much more budget friendly price, and these come in a wider range of shades.
I have Almond Crush, a a translucent nude shimmer. I usually don't go for shades like this- it does read fairly frosty in the tube- but the shimmer in it looked too good to pass up. This gives lips a slight nude-pink colour, but is mostly iridescent shimmer and shine. I love this on it's own as the shimmer reflects light and is just plain pretty, but it's also nice over lipstick for added shine and dimension. I also have Electric Shock a vivid, blue based pink cream. While Almond Crush was sheer, this has great pigmentation. Love these!

Vasanti is a great Canadian brand that you really don't hear too much about. Their eyeshadows are excellent quality and come in a pretty wide range of colours. They're available as single shadows and as duos and offer great pigmentation and are smooth and easy to blend. I find they wear beautifully all day- even without primer- and resist creasing and fading. -

For a gorgeous, glowing, peachy-coral glow, look no farther than Hot Mama! This is one of the most gorgeous blushes with a pretty fantstic formula to match as it's smooth and creamy in texture, while being perfectly pigmented and glowing on skin. This blush has a really pretty peachy-coral shade with golden shimmer that gives cheeks an alive and lit from within look. The shimmer is so fine that it really does look like you're naturally glowing while the blush gives a youthful " I always look this good' flush. Even better is that the cute little compact includes a mirror for on the go and the formula can be used as eyeshadow should you so desire. -

You really can't go wrong with the Balm eyeshadows, as they have their formula down to near perfection, and the shadows in the Nude 'Tude palette do not disappoint. While nude palettes have been all the rage for the past couple years, and you're likely thinking the last thing you need is another one, this one is a little different than the heard. The shades are both warm and cool with a mix of shimmer, satin, and mattes (there are even great shades for brows!) and work together to create a variety of looks. The only thing this palette is missing, for my liking, is a lighter matte shade for hightlighting and blending, as the lightest shades are quite glowy/shimmery. -

Mary-Lou Manizer is a pale, golden-champagne colour. What makes it so great (to me anyhow) is everything that this highlighter doesn't have: no pieces of shimmer or glitter! This is a finely milled, soft powder that applies with a good dose of shimmer, but a glowing, lit from within shimmer. While it can pack a punch, it is easily blended out and creates a really pretty glow. I wasn't sure if the golden tones would work well on my skin tone, but it isn't so warm that cool tones can't use this and have it look great. The compact is also HUGE. I doubt that I'll ever finish this, but you never know... it can be used as eyeshadow as well. While on that note, it does make a beautiful, brightening eyeshadow. -

I never fell in love with the Fit Me Foundation- shade issue more than formula- but I am quite smitten with this concealer. It doesn't look or feel all that different from your average when you first apply it, but it gives a really natural finish and blends into skin with ease. While this does cover spots/blemishes well, I especially like the formula for under the eyes, as the formula is thin enough to blend in well and avoid creasing ( I still set it) but doesn't get cakey or dry out my skin. If you also use a light shade, do be careful when buying this as it seems like the lightest shade 10 Light actually looks darker than 15 Fair and is quite yellow toned. I find the shade works really well on my skin tone as it's not as yellow as many drugstore concealers. -
