I've been relying on leave-in conditioners a lot lately, as they let me use less water on my high maintenance shade, but none of the ones I've used are quite like LaCoupe Orgnx Coconut & Macadamia Oil Leave-in Conditioner- it's a liquid! You simply spritz it on damp hair and comb through. It smells just as good as the other products in Coconut & Macadamia range, and leaves hair feeling nourished and hydrated but not heavy or weighed down. It's formulated with a blend of Coconut and Macadamia oils, moringa protein and ginseng I seriously love it! Plus the fact that it has an added UV protection factor which also protects hair and your hair colour. -

I bought this to use as brow gel, because, really... why even bother with mascara if it's clear?! I did try it as mascara just to see how it fared, and it was absolutely pointless as it really didn't do anything. As brow gel it fares pretty much the same- it doesn't really do anything. Now, my brows aren't unruly, and I don't need a lot of hold with a brow gel, but I do expect it to do something. This is so light it dries to almost nothing. You can't feel it on brows and it doesn't offer anything in terms of hold. I suppose it seals powder products to some extent, but it's really just an added step that doesn't do much. I'd pass on this and go with an actual brow gel, especially if you need something with hold or staying power. -
I chose 'You Betcha!' but I'm really more 'Meh?!' about this mascara. It's a fine mascara- it lengthens and volumizes to a degree, but it just doesn't wow me. While there is nothing bad about it, it's the fact that it's so over hyped for what it is... +

While there is nothing bad about it, it's the fact that it's so over hyped for what it is. There are so many other mascaras I truly love, so I just can't justify reaching for this one or purchasing it again. -

See by Chloé is an interesting scent as it incorporates fruity and floral elements with a both sweet and spicy notes to create a really unique scent. With top notes of Bergamot and apple blossoms, middle notes of jasmine and ylang-ylang, and base notes of musk, sandalwood, and vanilla the scent has a lot of variations as you wear it. When first applied the apple blossom is the most predominate note, as it has a fresh fruity opening. As the scent wears the floral scents emerge with jasmine being the most obvious to my nose. The scent becomes something more unique than your typical fruity-floral as it dries down further as there is a sweet spiciness that emerges. The musk keeps it from getting too sweet, while the vanilla's creaminess stops the musk from being too deep or masculine.
As much as I love this scent- and I do, very much- I don't find it to be the longest wearing on me. I tend to get about five hours of wear, which for an eau de parfum, is a bit disappointing, especially at this price point. It's defiantly a scent that benefits from a mid-day reapplication. Overall, this is a really lovely scent. It's feminine, sweet and ever so slightly floral, but doesn't overreach in any one area and has an overall cleanliness. Fans of Burberry Brit will love this as I wear it A LOT and find there is something similar here..

I picked this up on a whim when I spotted it on sale and have come to like the scent even though it's not quite what I expected. I don't know why, but I was thinking this was going to be fruitier, but the scent is more of a green-floral with some fruit notes, but they don't make up the bulk of the scent. While the scent isn't super unique, I like that it's not too much in anyone one area. It comes across as being a clean, fresh fragrance that has a neutrality to it that works for offices or small areas where your scent could disturb someone. -

When I was contacted by the brand to try this, I was a bit hesitant, but as my feet are always on the dry side and prone to calluses. Ugh. Not what anyone wants to see, so, I decided to give it a go. OMG! So glad that I did! This thing is marvelous!! I've tried so many different products to get rid of calluses or prevent them it's crazy. Some work, but a lot don't or just take so much time and effort you end up not using them at all. The Emjoi Micro Pedi is so NOT that product. It works and it works amazingly well with the most minimal amount of effort. It's seriously amazing!
The idea of the Micro Pedi is pretty simple- it's basically a battery powered pumice stone. You simply pass it over dry, callused areas and it buffs away all the bits you need removing but does all the work for you. It takes two AA batteries- they fit into the bottom of the handle- and is water resistant for easy cleaning with the included brush. The buffing roller pops out using the button on the side of the device- again, for easy cleaning, nobody likes foot dust- and to replace it when it gets worn down. I love that you can replace the rollers! The whole device isn't heavy, and fits into hand easily. It's designed to fit either hand, which comes in handy when trying to get to every angle of your feet.

This scent is what I tend to think of as being typically Spring/Summer appropriate because it is light and sunny through and through. Even when you get to the end notes, it retains it brightness. I didn't find that this wears an incredibly long time, which can be typical of lighter scents, but I quite prefer that for warmer weather scents. I'd rather re-apply a scent than deal with the drags of a scent that's changed due to my body chemistry and the heat.
As for the actual fragrance, it's mostly floral with top notes of cherry blossom, mandarin and bergamot, middle notes of pastel rose, violet and syringe, drying down to a base of bamboo, sandalwood and musk. There is a light fruitiness, but it comes across as a brighter note and is not an obviously citrus based note. The violet comes through quite nicely- I'm biased though, as I love violet- and warms ever so slightly when the musk comes through in the dry down.
Overall, this is a really nice scent. It's great for everyday wear as it's light, but more interesting than your average 'safe scent'. It's definitely one to look out for if you're looking to add a new Spring-ish scent to your wardrobe. Wait, the bottle. How could I not cover that? The bottle is a gorgeous pinky-nude peach complimented by a lavender centre tube (what is it called? Anyone know?) and a rose gold cap. It's simple shape is as airy and elegant as the scent.

I enjoy a sweet fragrance, so the idea of smelling like a candy shop did seem fairly appealing. that said, I wasn't quite sure what to expect from a fragrance that costs $5. While there were testers in store, it was busy, so I opted not to spray it. I figured if it was absolutely terrible, I could absorb the loss. Luckily that wasn't the case though!
With to notes of peach and orchid a heart of lilac, jasmine and heliotrope, and a base of vanilla, musk and tonka bean, this is much more neutral than the candy shop name implies. On first spritz, you do get a fair bit of alcohol, but once that dries, you get a really nice sweet-floral. The jasmine and lilac are most apparent to me at first followed by a warm vanilla. As mentioned, it's not as sweet as you would expect- I am a fan of Pink Sugar and this is not even close to being as sweet as it is. Actually, I find this scent to be quite similar to Prada Candy and tend to get asked what I'm wearing whenever I wear it.

I pretty much love Haute Look. I've ordered quite a few times and have never had any issues with any of my orders. I tend to shop beauty and accessories the most and not clothing though. I do find that they take their sweet time shipping items to Canada though, so don't expect to get your order very quickly (usually about 2-3 weeks, and I'm in Ontario for reference.) They have very decent shipping rates, but do charge a 20% surcharge to cover duty and taxes, but you're usually saving so much on the purchase price that it's not an issue. -

I've tried the originals, the lacquers and the mattes, and I think the mattes are my favourite out of the bunch. I have the shade Sultry, which is a medium depth nude-mauve. The shade swatched deeper than I expected, but on lips is a lovely neutral-nude shade with a hint of mauve. I love shades like this and expect to wear this one quite frequently. I found that this matte formula also wears extremely well. My lips were not in the best condition when I first tried this yet the formula slicked over imperfection with ease and didn't accentuate dryness. Even after and hour or two wear, my lips weren't a dry mess. I wouldn't go so far as to say that the matte formulation add any moisture, but it definitely doesn't suck any out of your lips which is victory in and of itself. The formula is also incredibly pigmented- one pass for full coverage! These do have the same minty scent/flavour as the rest of the range, which I don't love, but I like the formula so much I can overlook it. -
