The formula is a bit thin, you need 3-4 coats for opaque (on the shades I have at least) but they do go opaque and they have a smooth even finish. Wear is so-so, I only get a few days before I get chipping, but I tend to be hard on my nails so the average person might fare better. Overall though not bad and a reasonable price.

While this brand is pretty hard to find in Canada (the Bargain Shop is the only place I've ever found it) it is great polish.
The shade "Dream On" is a rather bright purple based fuchsia shade that is actually matte. I was surprised when I tried this the first time as the bottle had no indication. The polish takes three coats to get to opaque but if you are photographing it you will see nail line every time (it does not photograph well.) I am not a fan of matte shades so I always top this one off with a good top coat, and I get excellent wear.

The polish colour is an interesting blue/purple (depending on the lighting you are in) with some silver microshimmer and glitter. The scent is spot on blueberry and even under a thick coat of top coat the scent is still evident. There are a bunch of shades in this line and I would totally try a few others.

I like that you can build it up to get a bit more of the blushed pink hue without it getting overly milky or streaky. Wear is great on this one as well. I found I could go for a full week with no problems at all. Overall a great polish.

At first I wan't sure what all the hype around this colour was for, but after seeing swatches I had to get a bottle. This is one of four colours from the Hong Kong collection that I picked up and I love it. This is fuchsia type colour, but it isn't as over the top as you might expect. It is the perfect shade.
The application is amazing, and I can get a full opaque cover with one coat. One coat! Amazing. Wear is alright, minimal chipping and wear after 3-4 days. I got my bottle from SpaBoutique.ca for $12 a bottle which is a bit pricey, but this colour is so unique it was worth it.

In the past few years Avon has really upped their game in the polish department both in colour options and in formula.
I have a bunch of Nail Wear Pros but two of my top picks are Electric Green and Shocking Blue. The formula seems thin on the first coat (watery even) but with the second coat you reach a full opacity. I find they take a while to dry so you will want a fast dry top coat, but overall these are great polishes. Never buy them at full price though, they can go as low as $2.99 a bottle which is the perfect time to stock up on new shades.

Like most Sally Hansen's these are great quality polishes. They are a bit more expensive than other drugstore polishes, but they come in a slightly bigger, heavy duty bottle. The brush on the polishes from this line is different from your average as well, is is a smaller chiseled type brush. It is a love it or hate it thing, and at first I didn't think it was for me, but once I used it a bit and got used to I really like it. It makes application a faster cleaner process. Less time on cuticle clean up is an awesome thing in my book!

To my surprise this polish did not disappoint. I got a cream pink colour (a very safe not too vibrant pink) and it applied really smoothly and with no streaking or any issues. I was really pleased that the formula was not too thin- it only took me 2 coats for an even opaque finish. A great budget friendly polish.

I think I have just about every different type of Sally Hansen polish there is, they just don't disappoint! This range is no different. I have quite a few of the bold cream shades that came out in this line and they defiantly stand up to bigger brand polishes in both formula and shade selection. I find that these polishes wear really well on me and I can usually get a full week of wear (with tiny tip touch ups.) Be sure to use a good base coat with these though, as I find they can really yellow your nails without, although that could just be chalked up the the shades that I have, and not the overall polish. -

I have a few of these, and I am pretty pleased with the colours ( I love Teal of Fortune) but I don't find them to dry in 60 seconds, atcually I found that they took a fair bit longer than most polishes to dry... but that could be because the shades I have are not creams. Glitter/shimmer polishes tend to take a bit longer to dry.
The colour payout on these is great but I do find the formula to be on the thin side, so you will need a few coats for a full opaque cover. Overall though, you can't beat the price and the do have a pretty good lasting formula. I think it was about four days before the chip on me and I tend to be quite hard on my nails so that is great.
