I tend to use waterproof formulas for the added curl (I have one eye with lashes that refuse to stay curled) and as much as I do like the TF Better than Sex, it's a bit pricey for a mascara. This formula is said to be comparable, and after trying it for a few weeks, I agree. That said, I might actually prefer L'Oreal better, as it isn't as dry a formula and I find I don't get the same crumbling and clumping the TF formula gets if you use too much. I love that this formula is super black and that it adds a lot of length and volume. I often feel the need to layer a non-waterproof mascara over other formulas for added length, but with this I really don't need to. It's pretty great! -

I was really interested in trying this, as the formula and multi-use nature of the cream is quite similar to another product I love (the First Aid Beauty Repair Cream) Of course, the Nivea option, is a less expensive option and easier to pick up in store. The Nivea cream has a really great texture that is rich, but not too heavy, is easily absorbed, and like it claims, leaves no greasy feel. I really like that I can use this everywhere (face, hands & body) and that it provides a really good level of hydration on my drier skin. The only part I don't really love is the scent. This has a fresh-floral scent that I don't really love. An unscented version would get it to 5 stars.

Okay, lets try this again, since I accidentally posted my review for the wrong formula (all the tubes look the same!)I love Vichy as a brand, have have tried many of their products, but this one is new to my routine. Okay, so I generally avoid the sun, and as such focus more on my face SPF needs, but I do like to have a high SPF (I'm very white and burn easily) on just in case. This is a really great option as it feels super light weight, while also feeling lightly hydrating. It is easy to apply without an obnoxious white cast or heavy scent.

I resisted trying Spotify for the longest time, but I am so happy I gave in. It's the easiest way to listen to music on your phone, especially if you love music and don't want to be limited. Spotify has almost everything. I listen to a very wide range of music and have only had one or two bands/albums not be available. The app is super customizable, allowing you to create playlists for every mood and if you go premium ($10 a month and totally worth it) you can download music for listening when wifi/data isn't available. -

Hairspray has always been a must have product in my hair routine, but since getting bangs, I've become extra picky. You see, I want something that is going to work all over for my messy, wavy curls, and something with strong hold on my bangs without being too stiff or heavy. This hairspray is the perfect solution. It can be layered for varying levels of hold, and never gets hard or crunchy. it has impeccable hold on my bangs, but they still look completely natural. This may just be the best hairspray, ever. -

So, I'm not 100% vegan or truly lactose intolerant, but I do tend to stay away from a lot of dairy. In my quest to try alternatives, I've started tasting my way through non-dairy ice creams. I recently tried this and was really pleased with just how good it is. It is made with coconut as a main ingredient, so the coconut flavor is very prominent (and I would have hoped) and gives the texture a really creamy feel that almond-based dairy-free ice creams sometimes lack. The overall flavour is really great, but I found the addition of the caramel to be a bit too much and made the dessert sweeter than it needs to be. -

I'm not 100% vegan, or truly lactose intolerant, but I just don't get along with traditional milk very well. In my research, I've tried a lot of alternatives (like soy, rice, coconut ect.) but almond is the best, more specifically, Earth's Own. It has a better texture than other brands as it isn't as watery and seems creamier (like actual milk would be.) I like that the original and vanilla falvours aren't overly sweet and work well for just about everything (like smoothies, chia pudding, and of course, on cereal.) -

I've added a lot of glitter to my makeup collection over the past year, which clearly means a glitter primer was also needed. I've tried a few from different brands, but I've found the Toff Faced formula is one of the better options. It is just the slightest bit tacky and as such really works as a great base for glitter and even shimmery shadows. I have slightly hooded eyes, so shadow can crease easier, and I've found this not only holds shimmer and glitter in place without fall out, but it also keeps it from shifting and creasing. It is definitely worth the price if you plan on using glitter.

I tend to go for comfort in my footwear, and as such, like a cute sneaker to wear with jeans and whatever, I was recently in need of something new, and have always wanted a pair of Vans so i did it. I ended up buying the classic, Old Skools in Corsair Blue (a vidid teal/blue). The shoes are super cute with jeans and fit pretty true to size, if not a little narrow for a unisex shoe. I did end up having to break them in a bit as they are very stiff/rigid straight out of the box, but the seem like they will wear and hold up quite nicely, -

I've collected vinyl records for many years (before the boom and people just thought I was a little odd for wanting them) and have a great old turntable from the mid 70's. As great as the it plays, it takes up a fair bit pf space and needs a sound system/ speaker set up that I just don't have room for currently, I oped to try a suitcase style player, and while it's not as good as the 'real' deal, it has decent sound when playing records. It could go a little louder (it does play louder on Bluetooth), but it has good sound overall and doesn't seem to leave any grooves or damage on records. I love the added bonus of Bluetooth, as I can easily sync my phone and play from Spotify. For an inexpensive option, I'm pretty happy with it. It is easy to stash away when not in use, came with an extra needle, and the turquoise colour is totally adorable. -
