Burt's Bees Lip Balm Tin with Coconut & Pear
Since everyone and their dog raves about Burt's Bees lip balms, I finally took the plunge and purchased it in Coconut and Pear. Maybe it's just this specific scent, or maybe I got a dud, but I really hate this balm. It really does nothing in terms... +
Since everyone and their dog raves about Burt's Bees lip balms, I finally took the plunge and purchased it in Coconut and Pear. Maybe it's just this specific scent, or maybe I got a dud, but I really hate this balm. It really does nothing in terms of moisturizing my lips, it doesn't last long at all, and it reeks (did they confuse coconuts for garlic and pear for dirty diapers?).
I would not recommend this particular scent of Burt's Bees.

It comes in a generous tub for the price, and I love that it is truly unscented. It would be nice if it came in a pump form so you didn't have to risk contamination when scooping it out, but hey, for the price you certainly can't complain. -

Now, I can almost guarantee you, that the first few times you use this product you will hate it. It's way too wet to begin with. HOWEVER, just give it a few uses to dry up a little bit to the perfect consistency, and it is amazing!!! There is also a special technique to using this: use the flat side of the wand first to pack on product, then rotate over to the bristled side of the wand to separate your lashes. This makes my lashes look so black, thick, long, and voluminous. I love it more than any other mascara I've ever used, including high end.
Give this stuff a try, it is so, so good!!!

Bath & Body Works Antibacterial Hand Soap
At full price, these are pretty pricey little buggers. But if you watch, you can find them on sale very regularly for a much better price. They have a huge array of scents, and they smell so good. Suds up really well to get you clean. Love these!!

Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar
This is one of the very few soaps that we have found for the sensitive skin people in our house. It's affordable, gentle on skin, and actually works. Definitely recommend!

Vaseline Original Petroleum Jelly
I love using Vaseline overtop of my moisturizer and lip balm at night to really seal in the moisture and prevent water loss. I wake up with soft, moisturized skin, a miracle for my extremely dry skin. Love this!

Hellmann's Light with Olive Oil tastes so good. It's hard to even pick out that it's a light mayo! And I fell better knowing I'm at least trying to make my mayo a smidge healthier by choosing light and olive oil in one :)

The Ultra Satin liquid lipsticks, while not as matte as the matte line (duh....), won't dry your lips out and feel like cement on your lips. They are still long lasting, and come in a lot of really pretty shades. Definitely give them a try!

Urban Decay Chill Makeup Setting Spray
This is by far the best setting spray I've ever found for my dry skin. It really helps to set my makeup in place, makes it last all day (even through heat, cold, work, meals, etc), and leaves my skin with a dewy finish. Love it!!
