When going out for New Year's we were under a bit of a time problem because we ended up with a flat tire and here we were all us chicks done up to the nines in sparkles and heels and tight lil dresses and how are we going to get anywhere? After about 20 minutes of waiting in the car with our emergency lights flashing i decided to get out and stand by the car.My best bud followed suit. About 3or4 minutes later we had 2 different cars stop and 3 guys offer to change the tire. The little dresses did the trick however my hair did not look too good. When we got to the club I went immediately to the washroom and my girlfriend produced Batiste dry shampoo and promised I wouldn't be disappointed. She was right. I love the Batiste dry shampoo!!! It is now one of my "must haves" in my purse when I go anywhere.It is a wonderful product! You just spray it in your hair and muss your hair up and finish with hairspray .No one will ever guess that you didn't do your hair from scratch! I totally recommend this product to everyone and all hair types. -

This is one of the nicest eye pencils I have ever come across personally. my next review is the best ever!!!It comes in a very nice selection of colors, the usuals and then a couple of fun colors thrown in lavender twilight,blue lagoon which I got and this gorgeous shade of green that I cannot remember the name for, sorry ladies. Anyway, I just had to tell you all about this eve liner because it glides on so nicely and effortlessly that it is awesome! it has a wonderful advancer so you don't even have to sharpen it. I am totally impressed and it is also super cheap,(I paid $3.99 only at Shopper's) I really hope you like it as much as me, it is definitely a keeper! -

Last week I had the misfortune to catch my son's cold. Whatta thrill!!! I had to miss a girl's night out that I had been looking forward to for awhile. I stopped in at my mum's and right away she handed me a bottle of Vick's Vapo Rub and told me to rub my throat and chest. After my visit I wrapped my neck in a scarf and headed home. That evening I doctored my son and myself applying the Vapo Rub liberally to our throats,chests and under our nostrils. I had a wonderful sleep and was able to carry on almost as if I didn't have a cold. On the morning of day two, my congestion was pretty much gone and now I totally recommend the Vapo Rub to all my friends. Mum used ii on us 30years ago and it worked and now I am using it on my children. That is a good product in my books! -

i had a chance to try this product when my daughter picked a bottle of it up and can hardly wait until payday when I can pick up my own. It is a medium hold product that seems to refresh your hair at the same time as allowing you to restyle your hair a little later because it does not go all hard and crunchy. The smell is pleasant and not overpowering like some hairsprays and it seems to actually moisturize your hair while
wearing it. I would definetly recommend this product as it's hold does last a long time without your hair
becoming hard and needing a wash in between applications.

This product has probably been around for a long time but in our small town it wasn't available so when I moved and saw it in the store on sale one day recently I thought I would give it a try. I am absolutely thrilled with this cleaning product!! It cleans very effectively without you having to rinse everything. which is a definite bonus right there. The smell of the product is also very pleasant and not overpowering at all and I am truly pleased that not only can I clean my bathroom but it is also a very good cleaner in the kitchen as well destroying germs and leaving a lovely welcoming scent. I have even used this cleaner for my cat's hairball messes when they 'upchuck' on the carpet. It quickly removes the mess and germs and does not leave spots or discolor the carpet as some cleaners do. If you forget to put on your gloves because you are in a rush, this is very gentle on your hands and does not cause any significant drying or discomfort. All in all this is an excellent product that I would recommend to everyone! -

I'm glad that the companies came out with frozen yogurt which is slightly better and a few less calories than ice cream. Personally, I really do not notice much difference between the yogurt and the ice cream. They are both fantastic escapes from reality and with the frozen yogurt, half the guilt because it is fat free. This particular flavor is popular with young and old alike as it has lots of fat black cherries and little chocolate pieces filled with sweet cherry syrup. All in all, I will definitely be buying this frozen yogurt on a regular basis and I totally recommend it in all categories with an A. -

My daughter picked these wipes up and brought them for me last time she came to visit. I was actually having a very hot and sweaty and emotional melt down moment! I opened the package and wiped my face and neck. They are excellent wipes! They are a nice size and not too thin and come with a refreshingly light scent. They cool you off,clean you up and even calm you down. I would definetly reccomend them as a must have in your overnight bag or purse. -

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the new"Lime Coolada" after sun lotion product that Hawaiian Tropic came out with this year or last. The scent is awesome, a refreshing change from the usual aloe vera we have come to associate with after sun lotions. It smells like a key west lime pie with a hint of coconut i almost start licking my arm after i apply it. Ha ha.The lotion goes on nicely and is absorbed quickly by your skin. It is most definitely non greasy and has a nice cooling effect to it as well. I totally recommend it as a nice change from the usual aloe vera after sun care lotions,its only drawback is the price which is a tad steep if you are on very low budget. -

i went to this new pub on a blind date my daughter set me up on. The place and the guy both turned out to be pretty darn outstanding!!! I will definitely go there again and to the pub too! tee hee :) It is set up a tad different but that could be me,( I haven't been out to a lot of places lately) The chairs and tables are set up in a big square around the bar which is built in a big square with very large,cushioned chairs pushed up to it. The waitresses walk around on the inside serving you and also behind your back to serve the patrons seated at the tables. Although everyone is quite close in this unique formation, you do not really hear anyone else, nor do they intrude on your conversation.
The menu is small compared to most,however every thing I tried was scrumptious! The food was arranged artistically on the plate so well you truly ate it with your eyes before you actually dug in. Everything was cooked to perfection and served with nice sauces that truly complimented the type of food you were eating. Portion sizes are right for everyone. Smaller appetites like myself got an adorable.artistically painted, entirely original "doggy box" and the larger man I was with said it was just right. The service was great,lighting and background music well coordinated, this is definitely a place I will return to every chance I get! I recommend checking it out as you will not be disappointed. A for sure "must visit" while in West Kelowna, the heart of the Okanagan,British Columbia.
