I like how this balm gives me a wash of colour on my lips as well as an extra hit of moisture! I've tried the rose coloured one, but I do want to try the apricot colour or the darker wine/berry colour. I think there is also a beige or skin coloured one as well.
If I remember correctly, it is 10-15 bucks for one balm, but it lasts quite a while and works really well. Unfortunately there is no balm like this without a tint of colour, so you do need to pick a colour if you want one! Most of these shades suit every skin tone. I believe there are demos if you're unsure... My suggestion is to go to marykay.com to search for a representative, so that you can try your demo!

This is one of my favourite cheapy lip balms. You can find Bonne Bell lip balms in any drug store, and I think I spent under 5 bucks for an 8 pack. They've lasted me forever and I put them on every night so that I wake up to soft lips in the morning. The Skittles flavours taste exactly like the candy, which is great! I just need to remember to not lick off the chapstick. :) I personally think these work just as well as Burts Bees or something of the same quality level. -

This is another favourite of mine. I actually stumbled across this place because I'd won a gift card for it at my school... and realized it's not actually in St. Catharines (which is why I'd never heard of it), but it's just outside of the city! It's in Niagara on the Lake.
This store has a bit of everything from every country. It's very ethnic; there are organic teas from various places, incenses, shawls/pashminas, ornaments, books and home decor. I believe they also have chocolate (!!!) and ethnic CDs at the cash.
The associates were very nice and let me browse forever if I wanted to. The prices were good, I can't complain about that at all! I bought a seashell Christmas tree ornament, chocolate (so good!) and a couple of boxes of organic teas which came with a decorative, hand made bag. If you're looking for anything tribal or just want to experience something new, I'd recommend this place.

If you're wondering what I mean about decorations, let me give you an idea: he has a shelf in the store, about centre, and from it he has a grape vine with butterfly magnets glued to it. It literally looks like a bush of butterflies! There are a few of these in the store.
I obviously wasn't allowed in the stock room, but I looked from where I was able to go, and it's HUGE. They have a ton of stock ranging from medium to extra large (possibly larger). They carry clothing, shoes, hats, jewelry and knickknacks for the home.
They're all so happy there; customer service was great and even though I didn't buy anything right then and there, I did try some clothes on. The clothes are typically a little dressier than your average casual outfit, so they're appropriate for work, dates or just a night out with friends.
The prices are decent, but still on the high side. I think the merchandise is worth the extra money you'd spend there; everything seems to be such good quality! Even if you don't want to buy anything at the moment, be sure to check it out.

Prices range from $10 on the sale rack to $40. The changerooms were always clean and most of the time, they had my size. There were some things that weren't my style, but that's the same with any store. Everything was nice and organized and the atmosphere was great! -

Here they sell mostly dressier or dressy casual (read: work attire) clothing. Since I am a teacher's assistant as of a few weeks ago, I need new work clothes! I don't really have anything other than a few nice shirts and two pairs of black dress pants. So, away I went online to visit this site. I found a ton of stuff I liked, and not much I didn't. They have sweaters at the moment, outerwear I believe, skirts, dresses, tops, pants, even jeans! I didn't check, but I'm sure they have tees too if they sell jeans.
The prices are much like any other store; a little on the expensive side at $25 and up for a shirt, but it's worth it to pay that much for dress-clothes. Last time I went on the site and bought something, I bought a satin button down, belted blouse in a cute coral colour for only 13 bucks. It was on sale! They had a ton of stuff on sale which meant at least on that day, a lot of stuff was 50% off!
I only ordered it two days ago and it's still the weekend, so I haven't received it yet, but I don't expect they'll take any longer than typical online deliveries (standard shipping). I've received clothing on standard shipping anywhere from two days to nine days later. It says on most sites that standard shipping takes 7-9 days.

Now that they've gotten rid of the movie theatre, no one goes here anymore. It does have a Chapters with Starbucks, future shop, bulk barn, zehrs, and a few clothing stores, but it's really not worth it to go there when there's a better variety at the Pen centre just a few minutes away.
I do check out the Payless Shoe Source store once in a while to see what's new, and I'll occasionally go get a drink at Starbucks, but I rarely do that at the mall now that there's one down the street. The staff at the mall are usually friendly no matter what store you walk into. Prices are typically average but affordable, so I count that as "good". There is a winners in the fairview mall, which I've done a review on if you're interested in checking that out!
There isn't much of a variety in terms of stores, which sucks, but at least there are stores that aren't so bad like Winners or Reitmans.

I did buy a mascara in navy blue, and a nailpolish from here. I found the mascara made the whites of my eyes look whiter (which is normal for a blue mascara), but it also seemed to make my green eyes even greener! My then-boyfriend couldn't figure out what I did differently, but he always complimented me when I wore it. The nailpolish rarely chips, and it's a lovely deep red. These products are really good quality; you get what you pay for here. The staff is always friendly and willing to help you if you're unsure. For me, it's a go... when I have the money.

This is one of two malls in my city, but the other one hardly counts as a mall.
Every store I regularly shop at is in this mall, which works for me! There are several shoe stores, many clothing stores, and they're currently in the middle of adding more! If you're looking for anything at all, there's probably a store in the Pen Centre that has what you're looking for. It's big enough to fit a ton of stores, but it's not so big you'll get lost. There's also mini put and a theatre, a food court (obviously) and a plaza across the street with banks, tea shops, bulk barn, and Mcdonalds.

There are some cool items, but there are also not so stylish or odd pieces. It's a hit or a miss when you go to winners; either you find something or you don't, but if you DO find something, it's most definitely worth it. I've purchased shoes from there, some gloves and some purses for sure. I may have purchased a shirt from there too... I can't remember offhand.
If you're looking for something, but not necessarily a specific style (for example, you're looking for flats but you're not looking for specifically zebra striped or red ones), stop at Winners to check to see if they have something first. I usually go there to see what's in stock before I go anywhere else just because if I find something, it's going to be a lot cheaper than any other store.
