The glass lid suddenly exploded into pieces when I opened the lid. Scary!!! My soup was ruined. The small pieces cut my fingers when I tried to clean them which were scattered everywhere on the while counter and the hardwood floor. :(

I found the previous review which had the same problem! The Lagostina customer service refused to do anything?!?! This product is dangerous!!! I will try to contact them anyway. I bought the set at The Bay 3 years ago, this pot was seldom used.    -
