Burt's Bees Peach and Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub
Received this facewash/scrub as a gift, I find there aren't enough pieces of bark (scrubbers) in it. I also am not too keen on the scent. I find the product leaves an almost oily residue on my face after I use it. I prefer a skweaky clean feel... +

I find the product leaves an almost oily residue on my face after I use it. I prefer a skweaky clean feel. Usually I love anything from the Burt's bees line, but in my opinion this product was a miss. -
LUSH Mask of Magnaminty

I bought this product quite some time ago and still can't get through it. I love the minty tingle it gives your face. I don't know that it cleanses the skin all too well, but that's just my opinion. I won't be repurchasing just because I'm a sucker for price and find value there. Good product and I like their fair trade policy and bring back your pot program

I LOVE the smell of this product. The package says fragrance free, and I do believe they didn't add any fragrance to the body wash, but it does have this gentle, almost medicinal scent... Think herbal, lavender, sage and thyme. It's a very, very mild scent, but just adds that little bit of aromatherapy in the shower. I love that it has a bit of zest or zip when you wash with it too, your skin feels almost a tingle when you wash with it. The skim relief body wash is my all time favourite, it's gentle, smells fantastic, and really gives you an invigorating cleanse! -

The bars last a long time in the shower and are a good size compared to other brands. The bar smells clean and feminine but not too strong. They leave you fresh and squeaky clean. They have shea butter added into the bar which is a bonus, I use mine for shaving on occasion with no problems. Super versatile bar soap, I enjoy having a bar soap and body wash in the shower.

Effectivness is most definitely 5+ stars. My legs tend to get really really dry during the winter months and usually things get worse when the summer hits. I purchased aveeno moisturizing lotion and can quite honestly say my skin isn't thirsty anymore. It realllly works. I use it daily when I'm finished showering, and immediately noticed my skin is hydrated and stays that way. It's smooth and you don't need to re-apply over and over during the day. Once and done. Love it. Worth the money! -

Purchased two 120ml size bottles at Costco for approximately $27CAD I believe. Have been using the first bottle for over 2 months, it's my daytime moisturizer, I really like that it has the added bonus of SPF, and skips the sunscreen step in the morning.
Protects my face from the sun, smells fantastic, doesn't leave an SPF "sheen" to the skin. I haven't broken out since using it, I have combination skin.

Picked up the Aveeno spf sunscreen/lotion on sale. I find the Aveeno line a little bit out of my comfort zone in regards to price. That being said I do find the quality of the products Aveeno makes are top notch, there is value in the product.
The sunscreen does leave a faint sheen on the face, it can be easily camouflaged with a light dusting of powder. It protects my face and neck area from dangerous rays and I don't need to re-apply often. One 81ml tube has lasted me over a year with (almost) daily use.
