This is a good daytime foundation. I decided to try this out when I saw it at the Loreal Makeup Sale. It isn't too drying, but I usually mix my foundations with a bit of moisturizer for a more natural look (this foundation does well mixed with moisturizer and doesn't lose its lasting effect or tone.) It goes on evenly and a little bit goes a long way! It claims to last for 16 hours to get you through a normal day. I completely agree with this because sometimes it can take some work to get it off at the end of the day! If you are looking for a long lasting foundation definitely try this one out, because it does last. You'll probably want to use a finishing powder or bronzer to top this off for a "complete/finished" look. -

As many of the raters have said, this is an excellent mascara. It is now my "daytime" mascara of choice. It's light, yet lengthens and defines your lashes perfectly. It also doesn't clump!!! (which is a major thing for me as I find it hard to find a mascara that doesn't clump.) I use the regular one, not the waterproof but you can wear the mascara all day and it doesn't run or smudge. The applicator is great and it doesn't bother my eyes which are very sensitive to certain mascara's. As a side note, this mascara is perfect to just throw on without eye shadow to just freshen up your look on a lazy day; it isn't so overwhelming that it looks odd without full makeup. -

Don't even bother with this product. I have neck pain frequently from spending so many hours in front of a computer at work and I thought I'd try this out to see if it helped relieve any of the pain or tension I was feeling, instead of taking painkillers likeTylenol or Advil. Not at all. It was relatively expensive for the amount of cream I got and it didn't even work. I definitely will not buy this product again! -

These lozenges are wonderful. They have Zinc and Vitamin C in them so it really soothes your throat and eases coughing - the relief lasts longer than the 10 minutes you get with the other "quick fix" brands. Of course I still use Halls when I am coughing my lungs out and need quick relief but these lozenges are much longer lasting. Over the course of a day you'll go through less of these and feel much better. They also taste great; not at all like medicine. They are a little bit more expensive than buying a sleeve of Halls but well worth the investment! -

As some of you may have noticed, I love Nivea products. They recently came out with a new exfoliant and I decided to try it out. It is an abrasive scrub so if your skin reacts to that, it won't be great for you but I find that it works well. They recommend that you use it once a week and that's what I do. I rotate between this scrub and an AHA exfoliator. It really helps get rid of dead skin and leaves your skin feeling fresh and soft. It it comes in a small bottle but a little bit goes a long way (you don't need more than the size of a quarter per use.) If you are a fan of Nivea or looking to try something new I would recommend this. -

I have an acne prone t-zone but dry cheeks so it's hard to find a single moisturizer that does the job for my entire face. I was happy when I found Pure A night care. I apply this moisturizer to my t-zone and then a regular moisturizer to the rest of my face. It's wonderful! The number of breakouts I've had since I started using it about 3 months ago, has been seriously reduced. It can feel slightly drying on your face for the first hour or so, but it works so it's worth putting up with; It just feels a bit like you have a cleansing mask on. -

I had a serious problem pimple, one of the ones that wouldn't surface and my normal "spot" treatments weren't working. I decided to try this one out. Unlike the previous rater, I didn't find it drying, nor did it irritate my skin. (I have combination-sensitive skin) It didn't do the job right away but after 2 days the redness associated with the pimple was gone and within 5 days it was gone entirely. I was really impressed with this product and usually takes up to 2 days to get rid of a normal pimple. I'm definitely giving up the spot treatment I used previously and using this one instead! -

I got this as part of a birthday present from a friend.
It smells fantastic, it honestly does smell like a Vanilla Birthday Cake.
This is a 3-in-1 product so you can use it to wash your hair, use as a body wash and it can also be used as a bubble bath. I need to look into whether they make travel size versions of this product because it it so multipurpose it would make traveling much easier. I've used it only as a shampoo and body was thus far and the product lathers well for both which is great, you really feel like you are getting a good clean.
I find the scent very pleasant and enjoy the very light smell that lingers after you've had a shower. It is fantastic.
I know this product comes in many other scents so if Vanilla isn't your thing there are many other options to choose from. The only store I've seen this product in is Sephora, you can check it out online or in store!

I was given a gift certificate for California Sun Spa by a friend of mine last year and she got me hooked on going to this spa for all my manicures and pedicures.
I've put the website link above so you can check out all of the services that they provide. To name a few, the usual Manicure & Pedicure (Add Paraffin if you like!) facials, massages, body treatments, waxing etc. They also offer sunless tanning and have regular tanning beds. They also offer treatments for microdermabrasion, hydrolifts, laser treatments etc.
Their prices are very reasonable and you can check out the prices on their website. I've never had an issue with any of their estheticians, all are great at what they do, friendly and make your time their comfortable and enjoyable.
The spa is located at 2198 A Bloor Street West and is easy to get to because it is only a few steps from Runnymede subway stop, or you can always drive and park in the Green P just behind it (or find some street parking)

I've been to this restaurant a number of times but realised I've never actually rated it!
The restaurant is located in Toronto's Bloor West Village. It's a small restaurant, with a very cozy atmosphere and best of all the food is fantastic. I would say the food is basically "Canadian" or "North American" but their daily specials often branch out into other cultures and the staple items on the menu are always going to be great and isn't your typical "pub" menu. (I personally have a soft spot for the Dr.G’s Clubhouse sandwich)
I put the link for the website above so you can check out what the menu is like and what the prices are. Typically for a drink and a meal you come in and around $20 with tip and everything per person so it isn't too bad.
