I love this product! I've had it for a couple years now, and you'd think I would have done a review on it but I haven't. It is the most magical device I've ever seen! Put on your mascara, after about 30 seconds of heating it up (uses a AAA battery) you use the wand the same way you would applying mascara and voilå, you've got neatly curled eyelashes. It is fantastic, it was worth each and every penny I spent on it! -

The food was great. I didn't have the nachos but from what I hear from other people they are the best you'll ever taste. I will also agree with the previous review that the drinks are fantastic. I had a Sangria which came in what looked like a bowl (and I didn't even cactus size it) and was filled (i mean filled) with fresh fruit. It tasted great and was worth each and every dollar I spent on it (forget the alcohol, the fresh fruit alone covered the cost!)
I must say for a popular place, with a line up out the door, it was nice not to be rushed by the staff. I'm used to being in Toronto where you get the subtle hints that "okay your done, we've got a line, get going" from the staff. There was none of that here which made you spend more money just because you were relaxed. Next time I am in Ottawa I will definitely try to go to this restaurant again!

Amazing restaurant. I went there for the first time with a friend of mine for lunch and we really enjoyed ourselves. The service is great, the food is fantastic and the small restaurant feel made it very cozy. There are two locations, 1 at Yonge and Davisville and 1 at Avenue Rd and Dupont. it is a family run restaurant so it has that extra little something that many restaurants are missing. Whether you are looking for a good pasta dish or meat dish of some kind you'll definitely find it here, they have a wide variety. It is a bit on the pricey side but if you go for lunch, lunch size portions are available and that makes the food much more affordable! Enjoy! -

This is a fantastic restaurant. A friend of mine, and my boyfriend are both living in Ottawa right now and one morning we all met up for breakfast - she suggested Cora's. Almost every time I visit my boyfriend now we go to Cora's for breakfast on Saturday or Sunday. The food is always fresh and always tastes great. They also have a very wide variety of breakfast food so everyone will be able to find something they like on the menu. I believe Cora's just opened up a location in Mississauga as well so if you live out there you can check out that location too. Definitely recommend this place! -

I have never been a big user of bath salts or soaks but this was given to me as part of a gift and I have to say I love it. It really does help you relax in the tub. Now, maybe it isn't the effects of the salt but the fragrance (I have it in Fig & Lavender) is just so beautiful that you just want to lay there and breathe it in. I know it sounds crazy but the combination of the bath, the salts and the scent all help make the bathroom seem more like a spa and helps you relax. It also left my skin feeling very soft afterward. Plus, it is an organic product and a decent price - with that, you can't go wrong! -

Another one of my faves. This body creme is fantastic. It is light, moisturizing and lasts a long time. I like putting it on before bed because when I wake my my skin feels fantastic and smooth and ready to face the day. I've lived by this creme all winter because of the dryness and it helped so much! I find it much better than the "drug store" brand body lotions. I also find it is fantastic after shaving because it gets rid of that irritation/itch that sometimes occurs with dry skin. Highly recommend this! -

This is my lip gloss of choice. I can't rave about it enough! It is a bit on the pricey side for a lip gloss but it is so fantastic! It gives you the polished look of a gloss but also provides the hydrating effects of a balm. It is also sheer, not pink (as you'd think it is from the colour of it.) It also isn't sticky but still gives the high gloss shine you'd get with products such as the one from MAC. Honestly, I am completely blown away by this product! As a bonus, it tastes great :) (well "Icy Everest" does...) -

This was my favourite item! Seriously! I was really skeptical about how well a loose power foundation would work. It works wonderfully! I reviewed the other foundation as well as I have combination skin so, I only used this on my "oily" zones. It was so great. It covered my face evenly, it stayed on and didn't come off onto my hands or clothing, it didn't itch and I didn't break out from it. These are all fantastic things as I sometimes react to the "drug store" brand cosmetics. Both the liquid and power foundations are now my foundations of choice. Also I did experiment to see if I could use half powder, half liquid foundation, and let me tell you, they match perfectly when you wear them at the same time. This is great news for me and my combination skin! I will go out and buy this once I run out, I highly recommend it! -

I have combination skin (half dry, half oily) So, I've always had issues finding a decent foundation for my skin. I am going to review this product and the other - this one is recommended for normal to dry skin. I used it on my dry zones and it was fantastic. A little bit goes a long way! It also moisturizes which is fantastic, other than tinted moisturizers I generally find foundations quite dry. I didn't breakout afterward and the overall look of it is natural - not caked or heavy. I would highly recommend it. A similar cover girl product I use is put to shame by this product - I've definitely been converted! -

Let me start this by saying I do not use blush, this is the only blush I own. I have very pink cheeks. When I'm pale I still have bright pink cheeks. That said, I did try the blush for the purposes of this review. Surprisingly, unlike other blushes, it blended with my rosy cheeks (possible that I chose a complimentary shade..) it just highlighted/evened out my already rosy face. I was impressed. It isn't something I am going to use everyday but, I will definitely keep it around and use it when I need that little something extra. -
