I went here for an office party last week and I was really impressed. It appears to be a bit on the pricey side but the food was really good, the service was great and all the drinks were made perfectly! It is located just north of Yonge & Eglinton here in Toronto. It is easy to miss because it seems like you have to walk down an alley to get to it, when really you just walk past the patio of another bar/restaurant. So if you miss the sign, you'll miss the bar! They also have quite a few pool tables that you can rent out for you and your friends for the evening (or however long you are there.) It's got a really great atmosphere, very trendy, and I would highly recommend it! -

I decided to pick up a book from Chapters while at the cottage a couple weeks ago and I picked this one up because it was all over the store (yes I guess their promoting worked on me.) Turns out the book is fabulous (and hilarious.) It is about a 40 year old divorcee who was married to a big time hollywood producer and her life as the divorce unfolds. It is both a comedy and a story of love (all different types of love) and I would highly recommend it for relaxing, cottaging, commuting or just a fun read. This book will definitely keep you entertained! -

I love the clothes at H&M. It is a great place to pick up clothes and accessories that are trendy without paying a huge amount of money. Since their clothes and accessories are relatively inexpensive, it allowes you to not worry about whether an item will be in style a year later because you didn't spend enough for it to matter. Also, their clothes wash well, and there accessories aren't made so cheaply they break after only a couple wears. I definitely recommend this store and there are now many locations open across the country, but unfortunately they don't have online shopping for us yet. -

I blew the right speaker on my laptop so decided to get a cheap external speaker until I have time to part with my computer and get it fixed. I went to my local Apple retailer and they had this speaker for $19.99 and decided to give it a try. It is actually a very good little speaker. It also comes with an AC Adapter so that you can plug your iPod into it (or any other MP3 player) Even though I got it at an Apple retailer the speaker also works with any PC laptop or computer as well. It's also very small so it's really portable too! -

I would recommend this mascara but I don't find it to be dramatically better than cover girl or avon. Other raters have said it it never clumps but it does. That said, it is one of the few mascaras I've tired that doesn't irritate my eyes after a full days wear and it also lasts all day long. So the quality is good, but don't buy it if you are switching to try for a clump free mascara (like I did!) -

I got this cream about a month ago, and wanted to try it out for awhile before I rated it. I love it. Normally I am not a huge fan of thick cream but, this one is great and leaves your hands with a protected feeling. It also lasts a really long time so you don't need to keep remoistuizing all the time! On a side note, the funny packaging and the name of it is amazing and is just an added bonus to a great product! -
