I love the Dove Volume Dry Shampoo. I've used a variety of dry shampoos since I was probably 12 (it's a very European thing) but hadn't tried the dove one and it is excellent. The price point is shockingly low and the texture is great. I left the bottle at my desk so some of my co-workers could try it if they needed it and two of them went to shoppers to buy some. It is going to be our new "in office" dry shampoo. One thing is a great tip is to spray it in before you go to bed and sleep with it in. The next morning shake it and brush it out. I then use cold air from my blow dryer to blow air through my hair. The key is to then put some hair oil in the ends. It looks amazing. I'm a convert to the Dove Dry Shampoo. Thank you so much!!!! I bought the invigorating dry shampoo to try, I can't wait to try the others! -

These are a treat for the whole family, especially my nieces (and their dad and my dad, their grandfather!) at the cottage in the summer. We love that they are not fried, relatively healthy, easy after a day on the dock and we feel good about serving them to our family. They love that they get a special treat of "FRENCH FRIES" and that they are soooooo yummy. The little one loves that she can put so much ketchup on them because they are crinkle-y. A super great "treat". -

It is not at all the bars fault that I didn't love it, I don't like Cherries!!!! I shared it with a friend and they loved the real dried cherry taste. I had the sme complaint that I have with the other bars and that is the added sugar, making these quite high in sugar (13g). I was convinced that it was delicious by the cherry lover and that they for sure would be going out to buy them again. It got rave reviews! -

Loved this, this morning when I was dragging in a meeting that felt like it was never ending. So yummy and really a treat. My only struggle with these bars is the added sugar and some other ingredients which are something that I am trying to cut out completely from my diet. It's not so much that I would mind it in the chocolate part of the "bar" but it is in the "sweetened cranberries" and throughout the bar. It is delicious though!!! Happy eating. -

I have been using this stuff for as long as I can remember. It is gentle and effective and so cheap. My dermatologist recommended it for my super sensitive and reactive skin that is also prone to breakouts and I haven't looked back since. I also love that because it is so cheap I don't feel so guilty spending money on my expensive other products.
I have used it on my body as well when my exema flairs up. It is excellent.

Ani and Wren is an exquisite maternity boutique on Yonge Street at Summerhill. The clothes are gorgeous and they carry a really unique and well curated set of designers. You can tell that the two owners are hip, well dressed and young and are catering to a certain clientel.
The prices are very high, but are in line with the clothes that they are carrying and are appropriate for what they are. I have had problems with the service in the past. When I have gone in dressed a certain way or the store is empty I am served immediately and with a smile, if I am coming from the gym or looking a bit rough when the store is busy not so much. I also should mention that I am not pregnant and that might play into it as well.
All in all it is a gorgeous and much needed addition to the high end maternity wear market in Toronto. Well done ladies.

I go here once a week for a manicure with Jessica. it is clean and the staff are nice. It's tucked away in a little strip mall behind the Sobey's. I like not having to speak to anyone and it is quiet. I'm usually exhausted when I am there and they let me be quiet and tired and just sit. The manicure is perfect and I think the shellac mani is the best I've found in the city. I have never asked them to do anything out of the ordinary, but for a standard manicure it is perfect and easy. I couldn't recommend them anymore than I am. -

There are two locations for Medulla & Co., one on Avenue Road (used to be Hair on the Avenue) and one on Queen St W. W.. They are both fabulous. The co-owner Luis is amazing. He is a sweetheart and has been highlighting my hair for close to 16 years I think. He is truly the king of blonde and has a heart the size of India.
It is not unusual to see a who's who of Canada in the chair next to you getting their hair done, but the atmosphere is laid back and casual and every stylists is super nice and extremely good at their job. It is a testament to Luis and his co-owner Anthony, that so many of their stylists and colorists have been with them for so many years that they create such a wonderful work environment for their staff.
be forewarned, the prices are not cheap, but you should not expect that when you are literally going to some of the best colorists and hair stylists in the city. Some of the colorists in the salon on Queen St West specializes in unique pastel hair color and the techniques and colors are exquisite. You can book a consultation to talk cost and ideas with them. Follow them on Instagram for some serious hair inspiration and they have an awesome and well curated shop in both locations.
I could not recommend them more. I adore Luis and his team and consider him a friend to me and my hair.
